Small updates a-comin'!

It feels good to be back into the swing of things. After a bunch of stops and starts, I think I may have a few good strips written. = )

A quick head's up: I will be doing some small changes and updates to the site (Mostly on the front page) so don't worry if things start to act wonky. You know what happens everytime I dig into the site's code - five minutes to write and a good thirty minutes to fix. = P

Since it's just past 5:15am as I write this, I think I'm going to catch some sleep. Too many long nights makes a certain "Artist"-type guy go something something. 'Till next time!

Movie Night was Awesome!

Not only did it go off without a hitch, it was so fun to set-up and do! = )

I dropped some cartoons before the show - an old Fleischer Superman 'toon and a Merry Melodies classic. A big thanks to the folks that stopped by and chatted it up. Nothing like riffing on films to brighten one's night. I'm going to try and set another one up for some time in the future.

I'm not sure what next week holds but I am working on some more scripts. I'm not sure if I'll get them done for Sunday but I'm going to do my best to keep things running... well, as smooth if not smoother than they currently are. = P

The movies showing that night will be Teenagers from Outer Space and Night of the Living Dead! There will be a cartoon before the show so come early. There will be old school drive-in style stingers as well as an intermission. = )

Here's the deal. I have always wanted to do something extra for the fans. Now, I actually have that chance. = )

At midnight Eastern Time this Saturday - Halloween Night - I'm going to do a Halloween Movie Double Feature. Where? Online, of course! In fact, everything about this showing is Public Domain and showcases a pair of some of my favorite old scifi/horror flicks (the very same flicks I watch while working on the strip). I'll drop more info on the films Wednesday. For now, I have to get a head start on a couple of other projects before Saturday.

No worries, though. The pencils are pretty much done and the inks shouldn't take much longer after that. I'm gunning for late Thursday night/ early Friday morning. = )

Since it is - to me, at least - the most wonderful time of the year, I feel I should put the finishing touches on an old ghost story of mine. It also hit me that many folks don't know I actually write stories that don't star a silly vampire or end up being illustrated at some point down the line.

This arc has come to a close and, in a week or so, a new one will start up. I think I'm going to rock a couple of one-shots 'till after Halloween. Need to dip into my ol' "Bag of Script Ideas" and get to work on Sunday's.
