- Drawlloween 2026:

Try as I might, I never found a list I liked to run in my stash of old monthly drawing prompts or online... So I made my own! AND I remembered to actually make a proper version for folks to draw along. And it's me so the list has an accidental repeat but That's Okay! 'Cause the repeat is a topic I like and I've got ideas for it already. = )

- "Cheap" Bunny Costume Update:

When I was in college a lifetime ago... I made a quick and dirty Bunny costume from an old black costume top hat, a bunny band and the tail that came with it. Sewing the ears to the hat, it made for a neat cheap costume that was good for the oddly timed Halloween tests my professors liked to schedule. That stuck around for literal decades in the same shape... until this year.

The gloves in the photo above are part of a massive update I made to the setup. Between those things, the supplies for the custom ears I sewed up and the massive new bunny tail; it has stopped being cheap and has drifted into "Cheap" - that nebulous place where both time and money vanish while you work on making the best of what you got.

I'm off to stretch and finish posting that 'Squeaky' project to (almost) all that places it will be. Then it's a day or so of Drawlloween catch-up. Maybe follow that up with cleaning off the Art Desk again and spending some quality time with the Strip Book so we can get back to our Elf and Orc duo in November. = )
