Thanks to some some unforeseen circumstances, this strip was finished Kinda' Late and ended up going up at the various places just a little after Midnight. Not going to say I'm entirely blameless in this. The weird humidity we've been having did play a part but I mostly burned time trying to write new scripts for after this Story Bit is finished. I have some ideas but I'm REALLY Trying to get back to stuff that's shorter than my recent output.

I do love spending time with my Monsterfolk Menagerie but man... I can't seem to just write a two-parter anymore. o.O

Hey! How about that update to Alton's! Instead of digging out the last time I drew the outside of the place in like, what... 2013 or something? I instead decided to make my life a little easier by making the place a little fancier and building it in Illustrator.

This meant the first panel on this strip was oddly empty during the pencils and inks But! It also means I can just paste the place in when I need it. Thanks to it being "The Future" and me having put some funds into equipment, I have what I need to digitally draw in anyone if/when the need arises (though I don't think I'll be taking advantage of that just yet).

Also... we've Technically seen this guy before. Points to whoever knows which strip he was first seen in. Hint: Not as far back as the first time I drew the restaurant he and Amy work at. = P

Well, I'm off to send out a delayed Newsletter and do all the usual updates that I'd have had done by now. Then I'm going to try a soda I've had my eye on for a bit. Maybe do that "Relaxing" thing all the cool kids are into these days.

Remember: Stay Safe. Wear a Mask if you need to. Get vaccinated if you can. Get a booster if you're already good on all that. And remember to keep your head up.

Things seem dark but we can make it through if we have each other's backs and fight against it.
