Big Boyz Bail Bonds was widely present at this years Fells Point Festival. We had Big Boyz Bail Bonds company vehicles fully loaded with our infamous pink and yellow bail bonds pens as well as our newly designed pink and yellow t-shirts. Many people were happy with our items while throwing away immitators shirts for the real deal bail bonds company.

Hi Big Boyz,

I spoke to you this afternoon to thank the BIG BOYZ for the great T-shirts they passed out at the Fells Point Street Festival a couple weeks ago . . . As it happened, my beautiful cousins and I had gotten together that weekend for a "girls' getaway" at the Inner Harbor. We traveled from Cleveland and Cincinnati and Harrisburg and Long Island, NY. It was the first time any of us had been at the Inner Harbor and we were SO happy that the Fell's Point street fair was going on that weekend, which was great -- and where we were lucky enough to run into the BIG BOYZ! As you can see from the pics, we all love the T-shirts and will be wearing them at all of our future annual reunions . . .

Baltimore get ready, Big Boyz Bail Bonds will soon be hitting the streets with a brand spanking new vehicle. Our brand new Pen-Car will be driving through a neighborhood near you very shortly helping to distribute our famous pink and yellow Big Boyz Bail Bonds Pens.

Due to the success and support over the years that we have had with our “pink and yellow pens” we wanted to create something for the fans. This Pen-Car will be on the streets everyday handing out free pens, key chains, and of course our newly designed Big Boyz T-Shirts. Don’t be afraid to come up to the car and get your picture taken and of course pick up your free items. Once you request free pens for your business at our Big Boyz Pens Request Page the Pen-Car will not be too far behind.

The Pen-Car, which is a Mini Copper, will be fully wrapped with a never before seen custom Big Boyz Bail Bonds design. There will be a giant replica of the Big Boyz Bail Bonds Pen attached to the roof of the car which is exactly 12 times the size of a normal pen. Baltimore's own famous pastry chef Duff was in Miami Beach Florida promoting his show on the food network and ran into some home town friends that brought along with them some Big Boyz Pens.

Duff was very familiar with our pens and even requested that we have some of our pens delivered to his shop where he films his show for the Food Network. In addition, he requested some of our Big Boyz Bail Bonds T-shirts so he can wear one for an upcoming episode of his show Ace of Cakes.

We were proud to come across the Urban Palimpsest Blog and read about our Big Boyz Pens being referred to as the "Best Marketing Technique of 2009."

Big Boyz Bail Bonds held their annual Christmas Party Saturday December 5th at Hightops Bar and Grille in Timmonium Maryland. The party consisted of many Big Boyz Bail Bonds supporters and employees as well as the most magnificent pink and yellow pen cake in the history of the world.

Big Boyz had a special cake made as an almost exact replica of our pink and yellow bail bonds pens that so many are familiar with in the Maryland area. On top of its beauty, it was 4 feet long and it tasted delicious too. Thanks to Grauls in Roland Park for producing the cake.

Big Boyz Pens @ BARCStoberfest

Recently, while scouring the internet, we came across a picture of a dog dressed up as a Big Boyz Pen. The photo was featured on the Baltimore Sun blog Unleashed, written by Jill Rosen. Tito the two year old “100% Chihuahua” is the proud dog of Alexey and his girlfriend Healy. The event was the 2009 BARCStoberfest, an annual fundraiser aimed at helping BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter) raise money to help the roughly 12,000 homeless animals they receive each year.

The idea was to create a costume for Tito that was “very Baltimore,” according to Alexey and Healy, for the BARCStoberfest's best Boh or Hon costume contest. They wanted to create “Something that was specific to the city, somewhat of a local icon and that was a bit obscure. Especially when translated to a costume for a Chihuahua.” Alexey and Healy pondered about what they could do, and then it hit them. “We are frequent patrons of many local restaurants. And as everyone knows, every time you pay with a card, the guestbook comes back with a Big Boyz Bail Bonds pen. The idea of turning Tito into a pen was too hard to pass up.” Sadly, the amazing costume did not win, as Jill Rosen stated perfectly; “Sigh.... I think the genius might have been too much, ahead of its time.”

Alexey, Healy and Tito currently live in Fells Point, but have lived throughout the city for roughly seven years. Healy originally from the Eastern Shore now works in the hospitality industry; Alexey grew up in the suburbs of DC and is a partner of Diagonal a graphic design studio located in the Station North neighborhood. The oversized pen costume for Tito was made mostly of pink and yellow colored poster paper. Some yellow duct tape helped reinforce the seams and the black lettering was stickers applied to the sides.

Although they did not win the costume contest; Alexey, Healy and of course Tito were very happy to support a great cause.

The Ultimate Big Boyz Pen Costumes

Halloween is a wonderful time of year. Already, Big Boyz Bail Bonds has come across some really terrific Big Boyz Pen related costumes. A couple years ago, when the idea for the pens first originated, we never would have thought the pens would come this far and make this much of an impact on the people in Baltimore.

If nothing else, these Halloween costumes show that the Big Boyz Bail Bonds Pink and Yellow Pen has really become a staple of Baltimore. Maybe it's not quite on the same level as crabcakes but I think Big Boyz Bail Bonds is making headway.

A new shipment of 300,000 more Big Boyz Pens is on the way in and will take on a great new look. When you didn’t think Big Boyz could fit anything else in our Pens we put our Big Boyz font on the Pens that are so familiar to those who have or have seen our orange and white t-shirts.

Big Boyz Pens for Halloween

With Halloween right around the corner we have had quite a significant increase in requests for Big Boyz Pens. You might be asking, why would people request Big Boyz Pens at this time of year? Believe it or not, people have been emailing us saying they would like to be a Big Boyz Pen for Halloween!

This is a fabulous costume idea, and it has been done once before. As you can see from the photo, I had Big Boyz Pink and Yellow Pens clipped to just about every part of my body. People in the Fells Point area in Baltimore Maryland were pulling them off my costume the entire night. Everybody really got a kick out of the infamous pens. And of course people saw the pens in the bars in Fells Point as well.

So if your out and about causing mischief in the Baltimore area on Halloween night, be on the look out for our spooky pink and yellow Big Boyz Pens. And have a happy and safe Halloween to all.
