Big Brother Canada is Finally on the Way

Many countries have had their own versions of Big Brother for years now, but Canada has always been the country that hasn't had its own and instead only aired the U.S. version. Well all that is officially changing because Big Brother Canada is set to debut during the 2012/2013 broadcast season.

The allure for a Canadian edition of Big Brother by many is probably the fact that it would be the most similar to the U.S. version, and give fans in both countries another Big Brother season to follow. Big Brother Canada is set to air on the "Slice Network," and Endemol (the same producers behind the U.S. Big Brother) will handle the show along with Canada's Insight Productions. It remains to be seen if U.S. fans will be able to follow in any fashion, but live feeds for this version would be a very interesting concept.

Hopefully we in the U.S. will also be able to see the show somehow and get even more of our Big Brother fix. It should be interesting to see if the show is similar to the current product we've see during the last few seasons of our Big Brother, or if the show is a little less organized or formatted in a different way like earlier editions of Big Brother due to it being a new thing for Canada. We will update when we get more official details on when Big Brother Canada is set to air.

First Big Brother 14 Commercial!

OK some of you may be saying this isn't the first commercial, but basically this is the first full on commercial for Big Brother 14 as there have only been little mini teasers before. This is the traditional yearly first commercial that lets everyone know that a new season of Big Brother is on the way!

As usual the commercial shows highlights from last season (Big Brother 13) and gets the hype going. Feels so crazy that almost year ago we were anticipating legendary houseguests like Evel Dick and Daniele, Jeff and Jordan, and yes even Brendon and Rachel returning to the house. Well things didn't turn out so great last year, but the season did have its moments.

Now a new season is upon us, and hopefully a full cast of new houseguests for what should be a great season. The hype begins here, and we know many of you are just as excited as we are and are dying for this last month to go by! The CBS show, the live feeds, Big Brother After Dark, it ALL starts on July 12! Here is the first Big Brother 14 commercial just to get you warmed up:

Rachel and Brendon Appear on "The Price is Right"

JUST when you thought you'd seen the last of Rachel and Brendon for the foreseeable future after The Amazing Race Finale, the duo popped up this week on the legendary game show "The Price is Right." Playing off their recent Amazing Race tenure, Brenchel were presenting one of the showcases that involved trips to some of the Amazing Race locations.

Brendon and Rachel described each location in the showcase, and awkwardly waved after each description. Thankfully this appearance was pretty short albeit a bit corny. For the Brenchel fans out there it's a cool little appearance, check it out below:

Julie Chen and "The Talk" Co-Hosts Set to Enter the Big Brother House!

It's hard to believe we are less than 2 months away from Big Brother 14, but now is around the time when all the news and hype begins. Today we have news via Yahoo TV that Julie Chen and her co-hosts from her morning talk show "The Talk" will be entering the Big Brother house in late June and playing a "fast forward" version of the game!

So it will be Julie, Sheryl Underwood, Aisha Tyler, Sharon Osbourne, and Sara Gilbert entering the Big Brother house just prior to the Big Brother 14 premiere. The real interesting part will be how long they will be in the house since no time frame was announced yet. Traditionally Big Brother media day (which will likely take place around the same time this year) has a few members of the media do a days worth in the house, but no one has stayed overnight. For anyone that's ever wondered what it would be like to see Julie Chen as a houseguest, now will be your chance. We will update further on the date and time where you can see Julie and her co-hosts on "The Talk" inside the Big Brother house.

Brendon and Rachel Come in Third Overall in The Amazing Race

The Amazing Race 20 is a wrap, and the Big Brother team of Brendon and Rachel finished third in the race. In the 2 hour finale, the final 4 teams would have to go through 2 final legs to win it all. Rachel and Brendon made it to the final 3 after Ralph and Vanessa were eliminated after a sushi bingo challenge, but ended up in third place at the end after a mistake that briefly had them going the wrong way in the final leg.

The final leg of the race was quite a challenge, as the teams had to scale up a 45 story building and then back down before taking a helicopter trip and sledding down a hill. Rachel and Brendon had a few of their trademark fights and cry fests, but what kind of season finale would it have been without them.

Rachel (the other one) and Dave ending up winning The Amazing Race 20 even after first missing one of the roadblock challenges and having to go back and complete it before they could be checked in as the winners.

Love them or hate them, Rachel and Brendon represented Big Brother well in their effort by coming in third out of all the teams. They also gave us something to follow in the off season since they made it all the way to the end. They have taken over as the team that future Big Brother contestants who want to also be on The Amazing Race will compare to when talking about the Race. Jeff and Jordan only lasted a few weeks in the Race, but Brendon and Rachel went all the way and made it to a respectable place in the end. Congrats to Rachel and Brendon on a great job in the race, but a small part of us is happy that this will likely be the last we see of them on reality shows for a good while.

Brendon and Rachel Make the Finals of The Amazing Race!

The Amazing Race has now gone through 10 weeks/legs, and next week is the season finale. We are down to 4 teams in the race, and Big Brother's own Rachel and Brendon are one of those teams. This week Team Big Brother averted disaster as they given the choice to get a fast forward to the end..........if they were both willing to shave their heads! Needless to say, Rachel was not willing to part with her hair (citing that "girls need hair to look pretty") so they had to go on and do the regular tasks in the race which included decorating an elephant and then shoveling elephant manure.

Rachel's unwillingness to shave her head could have cost them the entire race since Mark and Bopper did the fast forward but luckily for Rachel and Brendon, still narrowly came in last. Rachel and Brendon went on to come in second, literally by being a few feet ahead of Ralph and Vanessa. At the finish point Rachel and Vanessa were asked what problem they have with each other, and both hashed out their opinions and ended up shaking hands to supposedly "let it go."

Next week is the big 2 hour season finale, as the final 4 teams of Brendon and Rachel, Ralph and Vanessa, Rachel and Dave, and Art and J.J. do battle to win the race. The previews give us a sneak peak at a big game changer that goes down, as the team that actually arrives first did not complete all of the tasks, and is forced to go back and get it done before they can be first.

Rachel and Brendon Come in Second Again, Can They Win The Amazing Race?

We didn't expect to still be covering Brendon and Rachel's quest to win The Amazing Race 9 legs in, but here we are and they are still surviving. This week they even matched their other top performances by finishing second in this leg.

With 5 teams remaining, they traveled to India to take part in a Bollywood dance routine. Rachel chose to take on the challenge for Team Big Brother, and of course had a crying fit when she couldn't get the routine down right away. This wasn't too bad of a blow up and Brendon was able to calm her down enough to get it done. While it seemed like the team of Mark and Bopper were going to quit the race when they couldn't complete the dancing challenge, they opted to complete the challenge even though they knew they were in last place by far. As it turns out, Mark and Bopper once again got lucky with a non-elimination week, so 5 teams will continue on next week in the race.

Judging by next week's previews, it looks like one of Brendon and Rachel's biggest enemies may have a major catastrophe occur as it appears Vanessa goes down to a major injury that could be bad enough to take Ralph and Vanessa out of the race. If this happens, Rachel and Brendon will be in the final four and have a very serious shot at winning it all. Tune in Sunday to CBS to see how it all unfolds on The Amazing Race.

Team Big Brother Overcome Adversity and Make the Final 5 in The Amazing Race

This week Brendon and Rachel had more of a challenge than usual in The Amazing Race, as they were the victims of a U-Turn dealt to them by the team of Art and J.J. The U-Turn option was first available to the team of Dave and Rachel, who turned it down after seeing how far Brendon and Rachel were behind even after they made a deal with Art and J.J. to U-turn team Big Brother if the opportunity presented itself.

The choice made by Dave and Rachel caused obvious friction with Art and J.J. since they didn't follow through on their deal. Even though Rachel and Brendon were U-turned, they completed the extra task and survived elimination by coming in 4th place. This new drama between the duos of Art and JJ/Dave Rachel may take some of the heat off Brendon and Rachel, although their other enemies Ralph and Vanessa also remain in the race.

Team Big Brother has made it to the final 5 teams! If Rachel and Brendon can turn it up these last few weeks, they may soon be boasting about being not only great Big Brother players, but The Amazing Race as well.

Rachel and Brendon Finally Stir up Their Trademark Drama on The Amazing Race

Well it took a few weeks, but Brendon and Rachel finally got into it with a couple of the other teams on The Amazing Race. The duo continues to stay around the middle in the race, having not won first place in any of the legs yet, but also avoiding coming in last at all.

As the teams were rushing through the airport this week, Brendon and Rachel shoved by the other teams which set off a few arguments directed at them. The majority was with Ralph and Vanessa, with Vanessa hitting Rachel with the 1 liners about being 38 years old but still looking younger than Rachel, and also how Rachel should have had her nose done before her boobs. All of this let to one of Rachel's signature crying sessions.

Despite the drama, team Big Brother made the wise choice to do the "courtship" challenge that involved doing a traditional jumping ceremony in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. From there they had to set up a complicated tent which had many teams breaking down, but Brendon and Rachel held it together to grab the 4th place spot. This week ended up being another non elimination week, so there are still 6 teams going in the race. Check out the next episode this Sunday at 7 on CBS.

Rachel and Brendon Survive Another Week of The Amazing Race

Brendon and Rachel have outperformed the original Big Brother team of Jeff and Jordan from a couple of years ago, and are in the final 6 teams in The Amazing Race 20. The duo has yet to come in first in any of the legs of the race, but they've stayed consistent and avoided coming in last and being eliminated.

This week teams had the chance to do a "fast forward" challenge that would allow 1 team to skip challenges and move closer to the end. Brendon and Rachel chose not to risk it and go ahead and do the missions. First off Brendon had to do a challenge that involved being submerged underwater and breaking out of a window. Next up both Rachel and Brendon had to go scrub oil off a hairy local - only on The Amazing Race.

Brendon and Rachel came in fourth place, barely being edged out for third by Mark and Bopper. This week there was actually no drama between Brendon and Rachel, as they seemed focused and got the job done. It looks like we will get our fair share of drama in the next episode (which will air in 2 weeks due to the country music awards) as it looks like there is a blowup between Rachel and Vanessa, as Rachel calls out Vanessa about her age, which Vanessa returns with a "You should've done everyone a favor and got your nose done before your boobs" ZING!

BB12's Britney Haynes Gets Married!

We have a surprise update from one of our favorite former houseguests, Big Brother 12's Britney Haynes. Britney was recently married and posted the pic on the right on her Twitter page. Now at first, many of you (including us) believed that Britney might have married her infamous boyfriend "Nick" who was mentioned often during season 12, but Britney has made it clear that is not the case.

After a follower mentioned Nick to Britney, she replied that it wasn't Nick in the picture, but that she had married her "high school sweetheart." With Nick out of the picture not long after Big Brother 12 ended, many thought that Lane may have a chance, but it looks like Britney went a totally different route and looks to be very happy and tweeted they were now "off to Paris."

Team Big Brother Hangs on in 5th Place on The Amazing Race

The Amazing Race is getting into deep competition with now only 7 teams remaining, and the Big Brother team of Brendon and Rachel are hanging on even though they have had some roadblocks recently.

Last week they struggled in Italy, and this week they were even in last place briefly in Germany. If not for the other teams mistakenly going to the wrong location, Brenchel may have been the eliminated team.

This week's challenges had the teams choosing between styling beards and building the roof of a gingerbread house. Brendon and Rachel went with the Gingerbread house, and then moved on to finding a castle based on Sleeping Beauty. This is where Brenchel got lucky as there were a few castles in the area and a couple of the other teams went to the wrong one. The Big Brother team went to the right castle and were able to move out of last place, moving on to a challenge that had Brendon sliding a Travelocity Gnome across ice and having it stop at a certain point. The highlight this week definitely had to be as Rachel and Brendon came to the end of the leg of the race, and as Brendon planted his feet in front of host Phil Keoghan.......he slipped right on his ass. A hilarious moment as Brendon happily planted his feet as he knew they weren't last, but ended up on the ground.

Brendon and Rachel were able to finish in 5th place, and solidified their spot in the final 7 teams. While they have definitely had some ups and downs, Brendon and Rachel have avoided coming in last and look like they will be viable contenders as the final teams battle it out for the million dollar prize.

BB11's Michele Noonan Gives Tips on Getting Cast for Big Brother

We are less than 4 months away from the next season of Big Brother, and as many of you know Big Brother 14 casting is currently underway. And now for anyone that has been looking for tips on how to actually get cast on the show, Big Brother 11 alumni and former guest on our own Big Brother Fans Podcast Michele Noonan has posted her tips on how to approach a Big Brother casting call.

Michele's list of tips includes not coming to a casting call in costume, how to answer if you're asked want to do after the show, and to arrive early to the casting calls to avoid the long lines that gather. Michele goes into much more detail and gives a very interesting point of view from someone that was actually picked to be on the show. Brendon and Rachel Struggle in Italy, but Survive Another Round of The Amazing Race

Brendon and Rachel ran into some big bumps in the road this week in The Amazing Race, including one of their trademark fights that had Rachel making her ugly crying faces and Brendon questioning if they were just going to quit the Race and maybe not get married over it (yes, the usual over the top dramatics that they were known for on a daily basis in the Big Brother house.)

The problem came from Team Big Brother being confused on where to go next in the Race and falling behind, but finally they found their way to a sausage tasting (insert jokes here) where they argued more, but finally got through it and settled in 6th place, their worst performance in the race yet.

As it turns out, this week turned out to not be an elimination week so no teams were eliminated anyway. Regardless, Brendon and Rachel will have to turn up their game because it was around this point that Jeff and Jordan were eliminated from the Race a couple of years ago. The race continues on this Sunday on CBS.

Brendon and Rachel Once Again Come in Second in The Amazing Race

Team Brenchel continued their success in The Amazing Race in week 3, as they came in second place just like they did in week 1. The duo made a smart move this week as they saw that a watermelon challenge looked like too time consuming and instead opted for an alternate challenge that involved stringing a violin.

In actuality Brendon and Rachel came in third place, but due to another team having to sit out a 2 hour penalty from not finishing their task, the Big Brother team was able to get by them and take the second place spot. So far their performance has been great, but any given week can creep up on any team and they can be eliminated. Jeff and Jordan had a rockier road in their Amazing Race season, but Brendon and Rachel have a real shot if they keep up these kind of performances.

Toward the end Brendon and Rachel were rushing so fast to the finish line that Rachel nearly had to puke by the time they got there, which was done in typical Rachel dramatic fashion. Next week, some tension is seen as Rachel is pissed off at Brendon and it looks like we'll get to see their first big fight which we all knew was coming.

The Big Brother Fans have been pretty quiet about Brendon and Rachel's attempt to win The Amazing Race, maybe many of you are just sick of seeing them. If they do win it will only bring more attention to the Big Brother brand which can only mean good things for the future. Brendon and Rachel continue their attempt to win The Amazing Race every Sunday night on CBS.

Big Brother 14 Casting Now Available Online!

This is big news for anyone that has ever tried out, or wanted to try out for Big Brother. For years now Big Brother hopefuls were encouraged to attend an open casting call in their city, or mail in an application and video. Well this year for the upcoming Big Brother 14, you can now apply online via the Big Brother 14 casting site.

The form is pretty simple, asking a few basic questions and then asking for a short biography. The form then asks for a current picture and a video. So now even more people can try out for Big Brother, which will hopefully lead to a great cast this year for season 14.

Applications for Big Brother 14 are due by midnight Pacific time on May 11th, 2012. Also below is last year's interview with casting director Robyn Kass who gives some valuable tips on how to get cast on Big Brother! Remember to get those applications in on the new Big Brother 14 casting site.

Rachel and Brendon Survive Week 2 of The Amazing Race

This week was a bit more of a struggle, but the Big Brother team of Brendon and Rachel are still in The Amazing Race as they finished in a still strong 4th place. Last week Brendon and Rachel came in 2nd and sailed through a bit easier, but this week the duo encountered challenges that involved Rachel counting cows and doing some sort of mathematical equation, and then both of them having to get a teapot to boil using solar energy.

Of course it only took 2 weeks for Rachel to have one of her trademark crying breakdowns. After falling behind a bit due to Rachel taking quite a while to complete the cow challenge, Brendon was getting in his usual super competitive mode and mentioned how long Rachel took, which brought on the water works. But despite falling back a couple of places, Brendon and Rachel still came in 4th place and remain one of the stronger teams in the game.

Next week it looks like Rachel will start some trash talking with one of the girls on another team (surprise surprise) so should be interesting when THAT element of Rachel starts to come out in the race. Tune in to CBS this Sunday for week 3 of The Amazing Race.

Brendon and Rachel Come in Second on Week 1 of The Amazing Race

The Amazing Race 20 is officially underway, and the "Big Brother Team" of Brendon and Rachel jumped right in and showed why they claim to be fierce competitors as they came in second place for week 1. They were battling for the top spot throughout the challenge, and narrowly missed coming in first.

As far as entertainment goes, if you've ever want to see Rachel thrown out of a plane, you got your wish tonight as Rachel went skydiving as part of the challenge. Team Brenchel made it through most of these first few challenges with ease, but in the previews for the entire season, it looks like we will get some traditional Rachel fighting with other competitors, and Rachel crying about The Amazing Race not being fun or good like it's supposed to be.

If Brendon and Rachel can avoid any breakdowns over not being the best every time, they have a good shot of making it all the way. And you better believe they will be quick to label themselves the best reality game show players EVER if they do indeed win The Amazing Race. Tune in to week 2 of The Amazing Race 20 next Sunday on CBS.

The Amazing Race 20 with Brendon and Rachel Premieres This Sunday!

Time has flown by since the finale of Big Brother 13 that saw Rachel win it all. We had all the Brendon and Rachel we could handle on both Big Brother 12 and 13, and now their biggest challenge yet kicks off this Sunday in the form of The Amazing Race 20.

Brendon and Rachel are known as arguably Big Brother's most competitive couple of all time, but the Amazing Race will be a challenge like no other for them. Many of you may remember that Jeff and Jordan were on The Amazing Race, but didn't fare too well. We all know that Brendon and Rachel compete like their lives depend on it, and they have no problem stating that fact hundreds of time during any show they're on.

There will be some explosive elements with these 2 on the show, since we all know all too well that Brendon and Rachel's infamous drama from Big Brother will be amped up on a show that's even more about hardcore competition. Rounding out The Amazing Race cast will be everyone from married clowns and border patrol agents to female federal agents and "two guys from The Shore." It's going to be an interesting cast without a doubt, and seeing Brendon and Rachel compete in a totally different atmosphere will be interesting as well.

Brendon and Rachel to Team Up for The Amazing Race

For any of you Big Brother fans that cannot stand "Brenchel" aka Brendon and Rachel, we have bad news for you. Yes, one of the most unpopular (or popular if you ask them) duos in Big Brother history will follow in the footsteps of Jeff and Jordan and will take part in season 20 of The Amazing Race.

The winner of Big Brother 13 and "her man" were spotted at LAX airport over the weekend as part of the group of Amazing Race contestants. One can only imagine the amount of drama these 2 will bring to the show when they have to team up in multiple competitions and take the risk of NOT being number 1 every single time. Between Big Brother 12, Big Brother 13, and now The Amazing Race, I think this might be all the Brendon and Rachel on TV that we can handle. It should be interesting to see how they do outside of the Big Brother house in some pretty hardcore competitions, but lord help us all if they somehow won this too....we would never hear the end of it.

Will Big Brother fans cheer on Brendon and Rachel the same way they did Jeff and Jordan? Only time will tell. The Amazing Race 20 starring Big Brother alumni Brendon and Rachel will air in Spring 2012 on CBS.

Rachel and Brendon Getting Married This Weekend???

We are only a few days removed from the Big Brother 13 finale, and already we have post-season news to report. In a story posted on TMZ, Rachel claimed that her and Brendon were getting married THIS weekend. So much for the big wedding planning and all, Brendon must have seen that 500K and figured it was time to speed things up and lock it in. This time Brendon better be extra careful before he gets involved in any more "weinergate scandals."

Rachel was probably drunk in this video, but she claimed they are getting married twice (three times if you count the Big Brother wedding they already had,) one of which will be this weekend and then getting married again on "real station".....whatever that is. Rachel's volume is the video is horrible as ever, and the entire wedding will no doubt be a big show just like everything else that is "Brenchel." Big Brother 13 Wrap Party Airing Tonight on Live Feeds!

Just 1 night after Rachel won Big Brother 13, tonight is the BB13 wrap party and it will be airing on the live feeds. You can watch the BB13 houseguests along with former houseguests hanging out and doing interviews about the season. The wrap party is always unpredictable, as there are a ton of Big Brother personalities in one place, so there is no telling what will go down. So if you want to see the wrap party, you can watch it at 10 p.m. eastern on the live feeds.

Rachel Reilly is the Winner of Big Brother 13!

Well Big Brother 13 is in the books, and Rachel defeated Porsche to win the game. In the final round of the HOH competition, Rachel defeated Porsche in a game of "Did the houseguest say A or B" game. As it turned out, after much preaching about not voting for Rachel, Shelly was the deciding vote that gave Rachel the game. Even Adam ended up voting for Porsche, so Rachel only won by 1 vote.

The "America's Player" prize went to Jeff, which was somewhat of a surprise since he wasn't the lovable "good guy" this year. Rachel was far from every one's favorite person, but in the end she played a decent game and had some luck such as the duos twist returning which really saved her. Rachel repeated herself a million times on the finale, telling us over and over how she fights and blah blah blah.

Overall, this wasn't our favorite season, but it did give us an idea of what bringing former houseguests back would be like. I feel like Big Brother 14 should be a whole new cast, so we can get back to the old school craziness of 13-14 people in the house that are fresh and new to the game. So congrats to Rachel for pulling it off, but we won't call her the greatest Big Brother player ever like she is probably thinking she is.

The Big Brother 13 Finale is Tonight!

**Warning, a few minor spoilers for tonight are within this post, don't read if you want to be surprised**

It's hard to believe but we are already here at the end of the season for Big Brother 13. It's been an interesting ride to say the least. From the get go, the dynamic duos twist seemed like it had potential to be interesting, and then things started sounding really good when we found out that dynamic duos from the past were coming back.

Then things took a bad turn when Evel Dick left the house after only a few days, and suddenly we were left with a cast that would have had great interaction with Evel Dick, but wasn't so exciting on their own. We saw the veterans vs. the newbies, but no real standout personalities that would cause any explosiveness. We had that one big fight involving the whole house, and then of course the big Shelly vs. Jordan fight just a couple of weeks ago, but other than that there weren't the usual mega fights we're using to seeing.

Now here we are with a final 3 of Adam, Porsche, and Rachel. As we reported last week, Porsche won round 2 of the final HOH competition, so tonight we will see Rachel square off with Porsche in round 3 of the competition to crown the final HOH of the season. From there, the winner will pick who will sit next to them in the final 2 and face the jury to determine the winner. Rachel and Porsche have told each other that they will take the other, so unless one of them swerves the other, it looks like Adam will be the last member of the jury.
