It also didn’t help that five of the Mosh Pit members were already working together before adding the two new members.  Now the Mosh Pit wants their alliance to stick together and go to the end. However, several members aren’t sure if this is their ideal final seven.

Melody and Mallory voiced this concern on Tuesday. They talked about whether keeping Kamu over Angela was the best move. Mallory adamantly said that she was not keeping Kamu this week. Mallory and Melody continued to discuss it, without really giving it much consideration.

However, they both expressed concern about Drew and Barrett keeping things from them. They really questioned if Barrett has been playing with the vets this entire time. Earlier in the day, Yash attempted to save Kamu by telling Melody and Mallory that he thinks Barrett is with Dee, Devens, and maybe even Angela.

Yash told Mallory someone ratted out their meeting about targeting the vets. We know that multiple people told the vets about this meeting, but Yash put his suspicion on Barrett telling Dee about it, which is true. Mallory didn’t want to believe these claims.

However, Yash also told Melody about his suspicion on Barrett and the vets. This seemed to make Melody question if Drew and Barrett were really with them. They seem to know that they may have been added to an already existing alliance.

The plan to keep Kamu has seemed to go nowhere, but Melody and Mallory have spoken about not really going to the final seven with the vets. They want to get Kamu and Haley out back-to-back, and then go after a vet. They want to work with Yash and Taylor. They see them as allies for them more than the vets.

They also spoke about the vets picking Drew and Barrett before them. The Mosh Pit may last until Kamu and Haley are out, but a Mosh Pit final seven seems more like a dream than reality.

Most of the day revolves around Kamu and Yash trying to ensure Kamu’s safety. Kamu knows he really needs to win the BB Block Buster to ensure he stays in the game.

However, he’s hoping that the houseguests will vote to keep him. To do that, he must ensure that he gets Mallory and Melody’s votes. They aren’t sold with their new Mosh Pitt alliance, but they have no plans to keep Kamu in the game.

Big Brother 28 Live Feed Highlights – Tuesday, August 18, 2026:

8:27 AM BBT- The houseguests wake for the day.

9:45 AM BBT – Taylor and Haley have a discussion about not being able to trust the vets. Haley also talks about being okay if she leaves this week. She thinks Angela should stay over Kamu and her. Haley and Taylor mention how they know that Barrett is for sure working with Dee and Devens. They debate whether Drew is as well. Haley doesn’t think Angela is working with the vets.

10:13 AM BBT – Kamu campaigns to Mallory. He talks about when he worked with the vets in the Red Corner. He thinks Devens has the most power among the vets. He pitches to keep him as a weapon against the vets. Kamu also tells Mallory that Dee has the other power. He tells her about his BB Bribe.

10:20 AM BBT – Mallory and Kamu discuss their theory that Dee used her BB Bribe to get Devens to save her with his Diamond Power of Veto.

10:32 AM BBT – Dee talks about her friend Josh Martinez and his participation on La Casa De Los Famosos.

10:35 AM BBT – Kamu suggests to Mallory they form a new seven person alliance that includes Barrett, Mallory, Melody, Drew, Taylor, Yash, and himself.

10:42 AM BBT – Yash and Mallory start a game discussion. Yash tells Mallory how Dee tried to Bribe him to nominate Melody and her. He also brings up her naming Haley and Drew as potential nominees. He wants to keep Kamu and Haley as weapons against the vets. Mallory pushes back against this idea, and instead talks about preferring if only one of them stays.

10:43 AM BBT – Yash also tells Mallory that Dee brought up the conversation during LaTrice’s Head of Household about taking out the vets. He doesn’t know who told her, but lists people that he thinks didn’t tell her. This just leaves Barrett. Mallory doesn’t think Barrett is working with the vets. They’re just his friends.

11:16 PM BBT – Yash and Mallory discuss points to keep Angela or vote her out. Yash sees her as a potential numbers for the vets. He knows this game is not just about comp wins. Mallory argues that Angela is not a competition threat, so less of a threat to them that Kamu or Haley.

12:15 PM BBT –  Devens and Haley discuss Chuk. He says he was never that close with him. They also discuss how Devens didn’t agree with how LaTrice treated Haley when she was on the block.

12:32 PM BBT – Melody and Mallory talk in the storage room about Mallory’s conversation with Yash. She tells him her arguments to not keep Kamu. She says she thinks Yash is open to it. Melody and Mallory then go to the Head of Household room to talk with Yash.

12:43 PM BBT – Yash also tells Melody about Dee’s BB Bribe.

1:01 PM BBT – Dee and Drew talk about the upcoming vote. They talk about trusting the Mosh Pitt and the upcoming vote.

2:03 PM BBT – Taylor and Drew discuss the upcoming vote. Taylor tells Drew she’s open to evicting anyone, but wants Angela to stay. They discuss Drew’s closeness to Devens. He claims he isn’t close to Devens.

2:29 PM BBT – Devens searches for who took a bite out of his hot dog.  They turn it into a guessing game where Devens must solve the mystery.

2:42 PM BBT – Mallory and LaTrice have a game talk. Mallory says she’s going to do what Yash wants with the vote.

We had a more active Tuesday than previous weeks, but we haven’t seen full momentum to flip the votes or to try to take out Angela that may never happen. However, we have already seen Mallory take center stage this week as a key piece to take out Kamu or save him. This vote may lie on her shoulders.

Just when it looked like the power structure of Big Brother 28 was finally shifting, Devens reminded everyone that the “icons” are not ready to give up control just yet.

Spoilers ahead!

Monday’s veto meeting delivered the biggest move of the season so far when Devens finally unleashed his Diamond Power of Veto. Rather than sit back and watch the Newbies take another shot at the veteran players, Devens used the power to pull Dee off the block and then named Kamu as the replacement nominee. That left Kamu, Angela and Haley facing the Block Buster and Thursday’s eviction.

It was exactly the kind of chaos the Diamond Power of Veto was designed to create. Yash had won Head of Household and then decided not to use his own Power of Veto, seemingly leaving him in control of the week. Instead, Devens completely hijacked his HOH and turned the entire plan upside down.

Strategically, it is difficult to argue that Devens did not make a huge move. Dee was in serious danger, and Devens had a chance to protect his closest ally while simultaneously putting a major Newbie threat in the line of fire. Kamu is a strong competitor and an important piece of the group trying to weaken the veteran players. Getting him on the block could be a major victory for the Mosh Pit alliance.

But there is one major problem.

Everyone now knows exactly how dangerous Devens is.

The secret power was a massive weapon while nobody knew how or when it could be used. Now the entire house has seen Devens pull the trigger. He did not simply save Dee. He publicly demonstrated that he can completely rewrite someone else’s HOH week whenever he wants.

That could make Devens the biggest target in the house.

There is also a larger question about whether the move was necessary. The veterans were already in danger, but Devens could have held onto the Diamond Power of Veto and waited for an even more critical moment. Instead, he chose to make a splash in Week 6.

That is the kind of move fans love, but it can be dangerous for a player trying to reach the end.

The aftermath already shows how much damage the move caused. Yash and Taylor are scrambling to recover, while the Newbies have to reconsider their plans after failing to take out one of the veterans.

So was it too much?

Maybe. But if Devens was going to use the Diamond Power of Veto, this was certainly the moment to make it count.

He saved his ally, changed the nominees and put a major threat in danger. Now he just has to survive the target he painted on himself.

And that might be the hardest part of the move.

No surprise here to see Devens at the very top of the rankings, just as he has been for weeks now on Big Brother 28. I can only imagine his latest hijinks with the Diamond Power of Veto will secure his position for quite some time until a new challenger emerges. Then again, it might not take that long as Mallory continues to be on his heels again in second place. Melody has joined her in the Top 3, knocking Dee down to fourth but she’s still hanging on just above Drew who stands at 5th.

That’s most of the FAP alliance and new Mosh Pit group, but leaving out Angela (10th) and Barrett (11th). Kinda interesting that Angela is so far down but Barrett doesn’t surprise me because although he is well liked, he is playing so under the radar that viewers are probably missing him too.

No surprises then on the HGs at the bottom of the stack. Chuk was just sent out the door so he’s here for one last round and managed to defeat Haley by one spot so he climbed from last to second to last. That means Haley, who is pretty sure viewers are going to vote her for the next Time Capsule, is once again the least popular active Houseguest this week. It’s tough being so “fun” and “bubbly” I guess.

On the plus side down here, LaLa climbed out of the Bottom 3 and made way for Barrett to join those ranks. LaLa went over both Barrett and Angela so that’s a good improvement for her in our audience ratings. I imagine her strong HOH endurance performance and targeting Haley and Chuk went a long way this past week.

For having just seen the biggest power of the season the Houseguests were a little muted through the evening and overnight. There may have just been a lot of relief to have the power exposed and not used against them (well, not you Kamu).

Along with all the DPOV excitement it was also Angela’s 53rd birthday on Monday, so there was cake and a talent show. After that the HGs slowly faded and were off to bed with talks of the upcoming vote and Block Buster capping the night.

Big Brother 28 Live Feed Highlights – Monday, August 17, 2026:

3:05 PM BBT – Mallory, Melody, and Barrett are in the SR chatting, Mallory tells them she thinks Dee still has a power and that’s why Devens used the DPOV on her. Says she thinks it’s an HOH takeover.

3:15 PM BBT – Barrett says he is going to go through the roof if Angela wins Block Buster. Mallory says she will vote out Kamu no matter who he’s sitting next to. Melody mentions that Taylor tried to convince her to evict Angela over Haley.

4:10 PM BBT – Drew is camtalking in the gym. Wonders how he is playing the game and if fans like him. He hopes Haley wins the Block Buster and for Kamu to go this week.

4:15 PM BBT – Drew says Barrett is his number one, but he isn’t sure if Barrett is his because of Mallory.

4:30 PM BBT – Drew says he wants to start winning comps (claims he’s been throwing them) but he’s worried that will make him a target. Says he wants to take Angela and Melody as far in this game as he can.

4:45 PM BBT – Drew is flirting with the camera in the gym. He leans in to kiss the camera and gets a “Stop That!”

5:10 PM BBT – Taylor tells Mallory that the Veto Ceremony was crazy. Says she wasn’t expecting that but knew where the power was, just didnt know what it was. Mallory asks if she thinks Dee has one but Taylor says another theory is that Jason had one.

5:15 PM BBT – Mallory tells Taylor that this might be their only chance to get Kamu out without getting blood on their hands.

5:20 PM BBT – Haley tells Drew she thinks people would get the icons out but nobody wants Angela to go.

5:35 PM BBT – Haley asks Kamu how he’s doing and if he was blindsided? He says he’s been suspisious of Devens for a couple of weeks and felt like if Devens had won HOH, he would have put him up. Says as soon as Devens stood up and said “this Veto is far from over” he knew that Devens had the power to nominate him.

5:40 PM BBT – Kamu says it was a good game move and it changes the trajectory of the game. Meanwhile, Lala is telling Devens that she tips her hat to him for the move he made today. Devens admits that his son is probably upset with him because he could see his son being a big Kamu fan.

5:50 PM BBT – Dee and Angela agree that they have to separate a little because if Kamu wins Block Buster, the house might be worried about how close the two of them are.

5:55 PM BBT – Melody tells Mallory that Yash told her many times today that he knows Dee has a power.

6:00 PM BBT – Mallory tells Melody that she thinks that Taylor agreed with her about getting Kamu out this week if they have the shot.

6:05 PM BBT – Yash tells Taylor that Haley needs to win the Block Buster because all they need is Mallory’s vote and they can keep Kamu too. Taylor tells Yash that Mallory isn’t going to want to keep both of them in the house. Yash is annoyed because if Kamu leaves, he’s the next biggest target.

7:15 PM BBT – Drew asks Devens if Kamu has been weird with him at all. Devens says no, which almost makes it weird.

7:40 PM BBT – Dee tells Devens they have to figure out what they are going to do because she is not getting good vibes from Drew right now. Devens says he isn’t too worried about it and says that they made their bed.

7:45 PM BBT – Dee tells Devens that she thinks that Barrett will get the next BB Time Capsule.

7:50 PM BBT – Devens tells Dee that he suspects that Survivor fans are pretty psyched about how things are going with them on BB28.

8:00 PM BBT – All the HGs are getting together for Angela’s birthday dinner.

8:10 PM BBT – Haley and Kamu are having a heated discussion about things he said to Dee. Kamu apologizes and said he didn’t mean to make her game harder. She tells him that she is backed into a corner and needs to be able to trust him. He reminds her that he is on the block too.

8:45 PM BBT – The HGs are all hanging out in the yard, having birthday cake and chatting.

8:50 PM BBT – Taylor mentions that Friday is the halfway point of the season.

9:00 PM BBT – The HGs are having a “Variety Show” in the backyard for Angela’s birthday.

9:05 PM BBT – HGs are putting on their show. LaLa does an impressive headstand. Mallory says the Pledge of Allegiance backwards and the alphabet backwards. Melody does a few jokes for a roast, but says it’s nicer because they could evict her.

9:20 PM BBT – Haley complains that LaLa’s headstand doesn’t count because she didn’t have her hands in the right place… (LaLa’s headstand was *very* good.)

9:30 PM BBT – Angela’s bday variety show has concluded.

10:10 PM BBT – Haley and Angela talking game. Haley is disappointed that she wasn’t saved by the Veto. Angela wonders if Dee is struggling with the longer format of Big Brother versus Survivor. Haley thinks Dee tried to threaten Yash to stay off the Block but that it didn’t work.

10:15 PM BBT – Haley does seem to understand that if she’s up against Angela after the Block Buster then she’s going home, but if she’s against Kamu then she’ll stay.

10:30 PM BBT – Haley encouraging Angela to join her with Taylor and LaLa over the Vets (specifically, over Dee).

10:35 PM BBT – Yash talks about his shock with Devens stopped the Veto Meeting from ending. Melody thought he was joking. Kamu knew he was going up. Yash wishes Devens had saved it for next week.

11:00 PM BBT – Kamu tells Yash and Mallory that he would go after Dee and Devens if he stays. He hopes all the powers were burned in today’s events (just Devens’s) as Kamu thinks Dee had to use her Bribe to get Devens to use his DPOV.

11:10 PM BBT – Kamu talking with Mallory how the Vets lied to him so they can’t be trusted.

11:50 PM BBT – Mallory relaying back to Angela what Kamu was saying on how he doesn’t trust Devens. She says Kamu also promised her she’d be safe with him. Angela says he’s just promising whatever he can now.

12:15 AM BBT – Yash really hopes there isn’t a Jankie World type week this season.

12:35 AM BBT – Some of the HGs are heading to bed, worn out after the big day.

12:40 AM BBT – Kamu asks if he can rely on Drew’s vote. Drew promises yes, he’d vote to keep Kamu. Drew says he isn’t sure about the other votes though.

12:45 AM BBT – Kamu wants Drew to be honest with him about his chances. Drew says if Kamu is up there against Angela then he’s done but if it’s against Haley then he at least has a chance with the votes. (Unlikely. As of now, Kamu is the top pick to go in either match up.)

1:00 AM BBT – Kamu tells Drew now he can get his Big Brother trifecta with a Block Buster win. He wants to stay and take shots at the Vets to show them they’re vulnerable.

Mosh Pit is going to hold strong against Kamu and the targets seem to realize they will need the Block Buster to stay another week while Angela continues to look safe and strong no matter how the BBBB turns out.

The Big Brother 28 Diamond Power of Veto didn’t bring as much drama or entertainment as we all hoped. It was definitely a whimper more than a bang. Nevertheless, the actions and ripple effects because of Devens’ move may at least take out a major player. It won’t exactly change the power structure because Devens, Dee, Barrett, and Drew have been in power all season.

Kamu, Haley, and Chuk were right beside them, but LaTrice’s Head of Household at least took Chuk, Kamu, and Haley out of power. Kamu was making an attempt to restructure the game in his favor. He dropped the Toolshed and tried to work with Yash, Taylor, and LaTrice going forward.

Yash and Taylor know that the vets are a major threat to their chances of winning the game, so they made an effort to get them out this week. They have likely failed because now only Angela remains on the block. No one wants to vote her out, especially not against Haley and Kamu, who are clearly more physical competition threats.

Nonetheless, Yash and Taylor are trying to keep Kamu in the game. They also want to keep Haley if possible, because they see them as weapons to use against the vets. Yash told this to Drew, Barrett, and Melody following the lack of fallout from this week’s Veto meeting.

Mallory talked about wanting to warn Taylor and Yash that she planned to vote out Kamu. She didn’t want to blindside them. Melody encouraged her to wait closer to the vote, and she will do the same.

Taylor and Mallory were alone in the storage room, and Taylor asked her about her vote. She started to say that she wanted Angela to go and to keep Haley and Kamu as shields. Mallory immediately said that she doesn’t trust Haley and Kamu together.

She could maybe consider working with one of them but doesn’t want them as a duo. Taylor listened and just moved on. Later, she disclosed this information to Yash, who got a little upset because he knows if Kamu leaves, then he becomes the next big target.

Yash and Taylor have taken this major blow to their game pretty well, but they know losing Kamu puts them in even greater danger. He’s a shield for them, and someone who could win competitions and help them. However, Mallory and Melody seem more willing to flip on the vets than Drew and Barrett.

Therefore, it’s not necessarily game over for them if Kamu leaves this week. They can reposition themselves if people aren’t completely set on going to the end with the Mosh Pitt. Haley also seems to have moved away from working with Dee, Angela, and Devens, so she could also fully commit to working with Yash and Taylor going forward.
