Think Tank Tuesday 6/18/13: Do Black Men Know The Value Of A Woman?

While perusing through my tweets I came across an interesting one by a user named ChinaWhite who seems to think there is some statistical data to support the following ~~dumb-ass~~ general statement... "...black men are little ass boys & don't know the true value of a woman..." You can check out an excerpt of the tweeter conversation between ChinaWhite and friends below:

The Think Tank Tuesday question for today (and this whole week) ... Do you think there is some truth to such a bold stereotypical statement about black men? I question whether women like ChinaWhite are even going after quality black men? Judging from her tweet about finding a "rich sexy white man..." and "...f*ck the thugs while he's at work..." I doubt she is the type to spark the interest of an educated, well to do, black man in the first place. Perhaps her focus solely on aesthetics and financial gain is key to why she gets the less desireable types. My free Dr. Phil-esque advice to Ms. ChinaWhite and friends is upgrade your standards a bit and get acquainted with REAL MEN, because good black men do exist, they just know their worth and aren't looking for bottom of the barrel chicks.

Think Tank Tuesday 6/11/13: Should Celebrities Get Special Treatment?

We hear about celebrities getting special treatment whether it's entire stores and restaurants being closed to the public to accommodate them, or getting a slap on the wrist by the law for offenses that land normal people in jail (ahem...Lindsay Lohan anyone?!?!?) celebrities getting ~~unfair~~ special treatment is nothing new, but this little story just takes the cake....

I came across a story where Maria Menounos talked about how actor Jack Nicholson got her booted from a Laker's game simply because she wanted to cheer on her favorite team -- the Celtics. I know you're thinking WTH...but this is definitely a topic for discussion....

We know in some cases celebrities need special treatment because if things aren't handled in a special manner pandemonium will ensue -- yadda yadda yadda... but when and where should we draw the line on celebrity special treatment?

So today's Think Tank question is should celebrities get special treatment, or should they be treated like everyone else? Check out the video below:

This story is just beyond sick....

[Daniel Reilly, 36, shared long, passionate kisses with wife Annemarie, 28, who rubbed his knee and held his hand as they sat in the courtroom’s fourth row. Reilly — who has a 1-year-old daughter with his wife — had sex with his sixth-grade student in his and his wife’s bed at their Forest Hills home at least a dozen times while his family was out, authorities have said.

The teacher had pursued the child until she finally agreed to the sick affair, and he used code names to hide their trysts for at least seven months beginning in August, officials said.

The IS 237 English teacher, who resigned last week, pleaded guilty yesterday to felony second-degree rape for the affair, a crime that can carry a sentence of up to seven years behind bars. But under a deal designed at least partly to spare his young victim a trial, Reilly received just four months’ prison, plus 10 years’ probation. He also must attend 104 sex-offender classes, and his teacher’s license was revoked. “Like other politicians and public figures, he strayed and only thought with the lower half of his body. It was a mistake,” one of the ex-Marine’s two lawyers, Eric Franz, said afterward.] source: nypost.com

Why this man isn't buried under prison is beyond me, but the true shocker is his wife supporting him.... the world is a sick sick place!
