If you're a regular Internet user, there's a good chance you've been to eBay. The eBay site is a massive virtual auction house, serving people all over the world. It's fun and addictive to search for treasures on eBay, and easy to sell your goods and services. With a few limitations, virtually anything can be bought or sold on an eBay auction.

Over 100 million people are eBay members, buying and selling items of almost every description, at great prices. It's baffling to see how inexpensive some items can be. On the other hand, you can be amazed to see that seemingly worthless items can fetch very high prices. eBay can seem like a marketplace free-for-all, but there are limitations as to what can be bought and sold.

eBay does restrict certain items from being auctioned through their website. Services are not allowable auction items, simply because they are not tangible 'items'. You cannot sell, package and ship a haircut, for example. Of course, there are always sellers who blatantly ignore the rules and try to get away with posting services. Illegal items cannot be sold, on eBay or otherwise. If eBay finds an item to be illegal, such as a satellite signal descrambler, it will restrict or remove the item from auction.

Products that infringe on copyrights, such as illegal copies of CDs, DVDs or software, may not be sold through eBay auctions. However, you are able to sell a DVD, CD or software that you had previously purchased legitimately. eBay restricts the sale of 'replicas', which are copies or knockoffs of designer items that look identical to the originals, like dresses, purses, sunglasses or shoes.

Items that are regulated by state or federal governments are forbidden on eBay. Alcoholic beverages, illegal and prescription drugs, tobacco products, weapons and firearms must not be sold. There are certain exceptions to this rule. If you have a collectible tin of tobacco, for example, you can list the item for sale if it has never been opened, and only if you state that the package contents are not meant for consumption. Certain other conditions must be met before posting these types of collectibles for sale. Check with eBay for a full list of conditions and restrictions.

Small animals and reptiles cannot be sold on an eBay auction. This includes animals that were once living, but are now preserved and mounted. Rules also apply to items taken from endangered species, such as ivory. If you are in doubt whether your item can be sold on an eBay auction, it's best to err on the side of caution and avoid listing it.

Many music and sports fans purchase concert and event tickets on eBay. Tickets may be sold, but legally they cannot be sold for more than the original price. Selling tickets for more than the price paid is called scalping, and it's illegal. Lottery and raffle tickets are banned from eBay.

If you have an item to sell on eBay, but you're not sure if it's eligible for auction, visit the site to find out about possible restrictions. You can browse the site to find the answers you need, or contact the eBay staff directly. It's not worth breaking the law just to make a few extra bucks.

In only a few short months I've achieved the ultimate
Internet "fantasy" of making a lot of money from a simple
(almost primitive) web site that runs itself virtually on
complete autopilot. Starting from scratch I banked over
$51,351.94 my first 6 1/2 months online, just working part-
time out of the corner of my living room.

Now today at age 31, I've gone on to earn over 7-figures.

How did I go from a standing start to banking mega
profits?

To do that, what I think you really need are these inner
secrets to mega internet success. This has nothing to do
with search engines, pay-per-clicks. It doesn't have
anything to do with any of the tactical stuff. It's all a
lot of stuff that goes on in your head.

* Secret #1: Cheerful Expectancy *

One of my biggest mentors is Earl Nightingale. He passed
away several years ago but you need to get everything he
recorded at Nightingale.com. He has a program called "Lead
The Field" and "The Strangest Secret." Just listen to
that thing over and over again. He talks about cheerful
expectancy.

There's a big difference between having expectancy versus
hoping or wishing something is going to occur. When you
have that cheerful expectancy, you know it's going to
occur. And that doesn't just come from being
"Pollyannaish" or having rose-colored glasses.

It comes from having knowledge. And you get that
knowledge from studying in your field whatever it is. It
could be Internet marketing or it could be neurology. That
means reading, studying and buying everything and
absolutely immersing yourself in it.

I learned from Earl Nightingale that if you want to be an
expert, you spend an hour a day reading on whatever
subject that you're interested in, that you want to be an
expert on. So I said, "Well, what would happen if I read
for three hours a day?"

I just started learning as much as I possibly could, and
that knowledge gives you the confidence to know that you
have that positive expectancy. Your expectations determine
your results.

* Secret #2: Do one proactive thing a day *

You don't need to do 100 things a day. Just get that one
proactive thing a day. So each little brick builds a big
wall for you. Trust me it's easy to be overwhelmed with
hundreds of tasks. You're like, "Oh, we need to do e-zine
ads and free-for-alls and pay-per-click search engines,
and I need to do all this other stuff." Ahhhhhhhhhhh!

But just relax and do one task a day.

Your action will create more and more and more action for
you. You simply need to make a commitment to do one
proactive thing a day no matter what. Even if you're dead
tired and worked a 14-hour day - come home and mail one
letter or send out one joint venture proposal. I'm telling
you - just these little tiny proactive things will have an
immense impact.

Most everyone has heard of the '80/20 rule' or the Pareto
Principle. It says that 20% of your actions produce 80% of
your results, and the other way around. 80% of your work
only creates 20% of your results.

So go back and look where your successes came from, and I
know that they're from a tiny little group of actions. So
if you just get that one proactive thing a day (from the
20% group) that is going to propel you further, that's
going to bring you to where you want to be.

Make it a point to focus on those "20% activities". In
Stephen Covey's famous work "7 Habits of Highly Effective
People" he calls these activities "important but not
urgent".

One of my Apprentices, Peter Woodhead, from the UK is a
perfect example of simply doing one proactive thing a day.
A lot of Apprentices bolted out of the gate during our one
year program but Peter was an Internet newbie and he also
had a full time job so he was a bit slower getting
started. However, he took my advice and simply managed to
do one proactive thing every single day. No matter how big
or how small. It could be writing one autoresponder
message or it might have been writing 50 headlines. No
matter the day - Peter was moving ahead. And not
surprisingly his project was completed before many of the
other Apprentices were finished.

* Secret #3: Decision *

This is such a big point. A lot of people have so many
problems with decision. That's because they don't like it
because it cuts off other options. But frankly that's
exactly what you want. You want to cut off other options.

One of our top apprentices, Cindy Kappler, WebAdMagic.com,
had no other option but to succeed because she quit her
job. Now I'm not encouraging you to do that if you still
have a real job but it does prove if you cut off your
options, you're much more motivated. Successful people
make decisions quickly.

There's a magic of attraction when you make your decision.
However, when you're hemming and hawing, you don't
experience this magic. I don't want to get into too much
woo-woo or metaphysical or spiritual stuff.

But there's this magic of attraction. I can't even
explain it. When you set your mind up that you're going
to do this, all of a sudden, at the next dinner party
you're attending you meet somebody that can help you get
to where you want to go. Is that luck or is that
something else?

I don't think it's luck.

It's like once the decision is made your mind is tuned
into the solution and all kinds of 'freaky' coincidences
and occurrences happen.

And that brings me to another important point about
decisions - fail quickly. Don't be afraid of failure. A
lot of people are so afraid of screwing up, or making a
mistake that they are forever frozen. Who the hell cares?
Screw up quickly! I screw up all the time. And you want
to fail quickly.

That's the great part about the Internet. You want to go
out there and find out if your dumb idea is going to work
right away. You can do it in days instead of months.
Sometimes hours and if it doesn't work, you move on. You
say, "Next!"

Look, I know a lot of people who are working on their
products for the last two, three, four years. Get the
damned thing out! You just make it better as you go
along.

InstantSalesLetters.com, our first product was not where it
is now. We've added a ton of stuff to it and made it
better. But I just wanted to see if the thing was going
to sell.

It wasn't complete and utter rubbish, as my British
friends say, but it was enough that it made the point. It
found out if there was a marketplace for it. So find out.

Some people like to go around at dinner parties and so on
and say, "I'm writing a book. I've been writing a book
for five years. I'm an author."

Uh huh...

I can show you 6 different ways to have your book done in
days. It's a cop-out and complete B.S. Bottom line - make
the decision to get the product out there. See what

What Are Master Resell Rights?

When you buy a product with "Master Resell Rights" this gives you the opportunity to "pass" on the resell rights to the person who buys from you.

Say for example: You have "master resell rights" to an e-book . This means you can sell that e-book to anyone you wish, and keep 100% of the profits PLUS the person who bought it off you can also sell the e-book, keep 100% of the profits and pass on the resell rights again to the next person.

Important Note:

Some creators may have the stipulation that only when you buy from him/her that you receive the master resell license however, the customer who buys from you may not receive the master resell rights license.

For example:

Little Suzy created a book on "How to clip your nose hairs" – She offers Master Resell Rights to her buyers, but does not allow your buyers to pass on the master resell rights so when little Robbie (who bought from little Suzy) sells this product... He can offer his customers the "resell rights" (which means his customers can also sell the product can keep 100% of the profit but his customers cannot offer the resell rights).

So now little Mark has bought from little Robbie – This means little Mark can sell the book "How to clip your nose hairs" but he cannot pass on any resell rights to the book.

What are the advantages to Master Resell Rights?

Well – if you are marketing to an internet marketer, an offer of being able to resell the item adds more value to the product.

They can now, not only profit from the information they receive inside of the e-book but they also can make profits by reselling and passing on the resale rights again adds value to the next customer who buys.

And the creator of the product reaps a "viral affect" spreading their name as an "expert" in the field.

It's a win win situation for both the buyer and seller.

What you can "expect" to receive with Master Resell Rights

Usually, in master resell rights, the creator does not allow you or anyone else to edit the content within the book and is offered in a "as is" type condition.

Master Resell Rights may include the following:

* The creator may offer a salespage included with the book

* The creator may offer graphics eg. E-book covers, banners, order now buttons, background images

* They may allow you to package their e-book with your other e-books

* They may allow you to include their book as a bonus

* They may have a certain "price value". For example – you may not be allowed to sell under a certain dollar value – I've even seen some come with a "maximum" dollar value eg- Not allowed to sell the item above $97

* They may even allow you to give it away for free

Important: Always check the license agreement, as this is the only 100% way to be sure of what you can do with the resale item you bought.

Some creators may have some obscure condition to their "offer" of their master resell rights item. They can choose to place any restriction they wish upon the item.

If you are ever in doubt of what you can do with the creator's product – send them e-mail! It's better than getting a slap around the wrist or even worse a notice from their lawyer for breeching your license agreement.

What is Private Label Rights

Private label rights are usually much more expensive then just Master resell rights as private label rights gives you the opportunity to change the content within the book to however you please, making the content more "original" and "one of a kind" and allows to place your name on it as the author.

Here is where it can become confusing...

Private Label Rights with Master Resell Rights. What does this mean?

Depending on the license agreement with the creator, you can also buy Private label rights that include Master Resell rights.

This is where most people get "confused".

Simply, this means you not only have the right to change the information within the book and place your name as the author but you can also pass on the license and give the next person resell rights to the content as well.

Please Note: Not all Private label rights will come with a master resell license. And some may have a stipulation that you can only sell master resell rights to the private label rights content if you change a certain percentage of the "original raw content" – For example: they may request 60% of the content must be changed in order to sell Master Resell Rights.

What you can do with Private Label Rights

As mentioned previously... you can change the content, add to it, subtract it, leave it how it is and place your name on it as the author.

Some creators of the private label rights will not allow you to use "their" name on it.

Why?

Because you are able to change that content as you please, they don't know you, and don't know your writing capabilities or what you know on the subject.

Their "name" is their reputation as it should be yours as well.

If you've just bought private label rights to a product on "How to stop the next door neighbor's cat from peeing on your front doorstep" and you decide to add to that content "just shoot the mongrel" – more than likely you're going to ruffle a few feathers and the creator of the product wouldn't want any association with your product.

If you are planning on selling Private label rights, I would also strongly recommend you place in your license agreement that your name cannot be added to the book, just to rule out any possibility of been seen as the "provider" of poor information.

What else will you receive with you Private Label Rights?

Unless its software or someone has other ways of distributing the content to you, in most cases you will generally receive your product in pdf format and in Microsoft word document.

Microsoft word document gives you the opportunity to change the raw content to your own. Pdf format is an opportunity to put it up and sell it right away if you don't want to make any changes to the book.

Some private label rights will also offer you graphics eg. e-book covers, banners/headers, order now buttons, background images. Some may also offer the Psd source files so you can edit these to how you please.

You may also receive a ready made sales page that you can also edit to your likings.

You may also be allowed to use some of / or even all of the content in the book as web page content. Some people will buy private label rights just for this sole purpose to provide quality content to their readers and likely to increase their adsense revenue or build their list through giveaways

Private Label Rights (PLR) And Content

I've been doing a lot of reading lately about Private Label Rights (PLR) content. I used to think that it was only for lazy people who didn't want to do their own writing. But as I learn more, I've come up with lots of great ways I can use PLR in my own business.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, PLR is content that you get from the original author along with their permission to use it as your own. So you can get a great report, put your name on it and have your own product to sell or give away!

The first couple of products I created using PLR only took me about half an hour. There have been a few sales so far from them so that was definitely time well spent.

When searching for PLR content to use, I found there were a lot of different types of sites available. Some offered monthly memberships and others offered just one time purchases. So be sure to look around before you decide where to buy.

The site I found that was by far the best was PLRWholesaler. Not only do they have an unbelievable amount of content, but it's completely FREE. Most sites charge an arm and a leg for the amount of content that this guy is giving away.

And although I haven't been through everything yet, what I have read is very good quality. It's stuff you would actually want to use as your own.

Since it's free, I highly recommend that you check out PLRWholesaler and see if they have anything that you can use in your business. There just may be an ebook or audio recording that you could quickly brand with your information and start selling to your list.
