A great range of knowledge is available here. A free sample lesson ebook is available at the website www.8ballsecrets.com This goes great with the full price ebook.

The ebook was originally a questionaire that became an ebook, 100's of people filled in the questionaire about what the problems in their pool game were and the book just followed on from that. Inside details several key features of the game of 8ball strategies, techniques and knowledge.

This ebook is alive! This ebook will be updated regularly until if/when the website is shutdown. We all sit and watch it when it is on, approximately somewhere around 6-8 million watched the World Championship final last year. So how do we create more life in the players and snooker as a whole?

Does anyone have an opinion on:

The addition of several wildcard placements for all competitions.

A masters tour.

Exhibition matches which are televised.

Steve Davis Retirement Talk

I've read on the internet in the last couple of days, talk about Steve Davis retiring from snooker. Thankfully Steve has said that he has no intention of retiring as long as the game is still enjoyable. It makes me mad when people go on about players being too old for snooker or pool, I mean you can practically play forever, as long as you are alive and have some coordination, admitedly to play good has more skill involved. I wonder if some of the people which say such things may not have been very good players themselves in their day? Why must people try and find something wrong all the time.

Good Luck Steve, I hope you win many games!

Billiards Auctions:

We at billiardclick.com have joined forces with www.billiardauctions.com to make a great new billiards auction website has just started. On this site you can buy and sell as well as being able to list 'wanted items', which is great for the collector. The ability to list items for free is great especially as they allow up to a ninety day listing, good for the 'instant purchase' option. Several companies have taken up the chance to either sell their normal stock or dead stock. Believe me this site will become very popular fast! Any new users who sign up and either buy, sell or place a wanted ad for something will receive a free layered pool cue tip. It reminded me that I feel genuinely sad about the continuing decline of snooker over that last few years. Everyone can make an excuse of why this has happened; loss of tobacco sponsorship, no characters in the game now, the cloth is too smooth, the pockets are too easy, and the list goes on. Although there appears to be no actual movement in the correct direction, I expect that behind the scenes that there is something happening. I just wish that they would make those differences they are making visible to all.

If you were asked the question ‘who were the best players in snooker?’, we would get varied replies Steve Davis, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Joe Davis and so on. In my humble opinion I say look at these players and see why they made the sport great in their time, work on that as a base. I do think that when you try to take the luck or spontaneity out of any sport then that is when the sport goes into decline.
