It can be produced naturally now either in the laboratory or related stem cells could be injected into the eye which will then grow into retina. Now the blind people can also see. What a landmark

The formation of human being starts from a stem cell then gradually these cells transform into different body parts and after birth our life depends on these body parts. They keep us moving through ups and downs of life, happiness, desires, success, failures and everything which we do in our short span of life. Eventually these parts get weaker and our life marathon comes to an end with them.

If we analyze this short span of our life, we will come to know that our body is not always perfect; there are some sort of dependencies among many of people around us. For example many people can’t hear, see, smell and walk properly. On the other hand diseases also do their part to destabilize our body. Our heart becomes weaker, kidneys stop working, our bones become weaker, wrinkles appear on our skin and our eye sight becomes weaker so in the end we have to leave.

Scientists are working hard to eradicate these defects and they are always in search of solutions for these problems. One of the major problems is the blindness, some people among us are blind by birth and others are due to age factor. There was no cure for blindness in our world because it was impossible to make retina in laboratory.

But Dr. DoshikiSasai did it. He made a human eye retina artificially in laboratory with stem cells and with this break through blinds can also see properly. This technology is on its early stages but after few years it will be available for human kind. This is really a great landmark of science and whole world is congratulating DoshikiSasai on his discovery.

When DoshikiSasai was working on this landmark exactly on same time another landmark was also achieved by a Pakistani native of city Jhang Shabir Ahmed. He wrote a copy of Quran with ink mixed in Zam Zam water. It weighs about 400 kgs and placed at Alnoor mosque at Sargodha.

DoshikiSasai and Shabir both have done a great job but alas the blind Muslims can’t see the work of Shabir Ahmed. They have to wait for the technology of DoshikiSasai to get mature. When this technology come into market the citizens of first world countries will get benefit from it then after few years it will be available for countries like Pakistan and then some people who can afford it will utilize it to see the work of Shabir Ahmed.

DoshikiSasai and Shabir Ahmed are not two persons they are two different ways of thinking, two different philosophies and two different approaches. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to differentiate between these two approaches, which is the biggest hurdle in way of our success. Honest Muslims like Shabir Ahmed are clearing their path to heavens by writing Quran and praying day and night on the other hand persons like DoshikiSasai are helping the mankind through their inventions.

Shabir’s achievement is valid for Muslims only but invention of DoshikiSasai is helpful for whole of the mankind, Muslims, Hindus, Jews or whatever you are you must be thankful to DoshikiSasai on his great work. Today we Muslims only think about our community we do things which are useful for us and unbelievers like DoshikiSasai are helping the mankind weather they are Muslims or member of any other religion. Even many of our so called Mullahs who consider their Islam will not complete without killing any unbeliever will also utilize DoshikiSasai’s invention. Sometimes I think that if knowledge is the real weapon for Muslims then where the hell it has gone, why our Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astrology, Engineering and Computer science is not that effective, why our Shabir Ahmed is not becoming Dr.DoshikiSasai. There are about one and a half billion Muslims are blind and deaf in this world, did any one among us ever think about them.

Not a single invention from last thousand years which is useful for mankind is from Muslims. There is no doubt in it that we are talented but wasting it by making 400 kgs Qurans, which can only be shown off ,but nobody can read it. We always use to praise Aurangzeb Alamgir and other Mughal emperors that they were marvelous and richest ones. But it would have much better if they use this wealth in making universities like Cambridge and oxford rather than Taj Mehal and other huge castles, at least they would have established Hindustan’s Navy so that we could have defeat Britain at that time and situation would have been much better than this miserable condition of Muslims.

How shameful for all of us that China export Jai Namaz and Tasbeehs of almost two billion dollars of worth every year, Israel export Miswaaks to all Middle east, our coffins fabric is made on European machines and chemicals used in them also from those countries which are nonbelievers. Even the paper used by Shabir Ahmed was from Poland and the owner of that company is a Jew, but despite all these facts we believe ourselves to be a greatest nation of the world.

Now for God sake; compete knowledge with knowledge and defeat science in the field of science. Allah gives us Quran for guidance to spend our life not for showing off or to just putting it in showcase. A fifty gram Quran will be enough if we are honest otherwise even a fifty ton Quran can’t change us. So, we need persons like DoshikiSasai but alas! [We are selfish].

Children of a Lesser Society

Children are among the most neglected segments of world citizenry. About 45% of the children under age of five in developing countries are living in absolute poverty. Child labor is still very much a part of every underdeveloped country. Innocent children can be seen working in motor workshops or collecting waste paper from amongst the big mounds of trash. Child labor has assumed epidemic proportion in Pakistan.

Child labor is especially prevalent in rural areas where the capacity to enforce minimum age requirements for schooling and work is lacking.

Children work for a variety of reasons, the most important being poverty and the induced pressure upon them to escape from this plight. Though children are not well paid, they still serve as major contributors to family income in our country. Schooling problems also contribute to child labor, whether it is the inaccessibility of schools or the lack of quality education which spurs parents to enter their children in more profitable pursuits. Traditional factors such as rigid cultural and social roles in certain areas further limit educational attainment and increase child labor.

But on the other hand situation in urban areas also not much appreciable. There are some statistics from UNICEF.

“The Bonded Labor Liberation Front estimates that eight million children are bonded in Pakistan. Half a million are allegedly bonded in the carpet industry alone”.

“More than 19,000 boys from the region, ranging in age from 2 to 11 years old, have been trafficked as camel jockeys to the Middle East, a trade that can cost them their lives”.

“Between 20,000 and 40,000 children are in prostitution in Pakistan”.

“The largest number of male children was found working in tailoring (23.8%), shop assistants (14.5%), hotel and restaurants (8.9%), while most female children were found in domestic help (6.7%) and tailoring (4.5%). Child domestic workers generally have to work for 15 hours a day, 7 days a week”.

In conclusion, the continuation of child labor is a tragic situation. There have been many positive laws passed that regulate child labor and Pakistan is a party to many conventions that prohibit child abuse in labor, but these practices are still a reality. In many industries, children suffer injuries that should not happen in childhood and they lose a very important thing: the opportunity to play and be with other children their own age. Most of them do not go to school and miss the chance to learn skills that will last their whole lives. If the government can do only one thing, it should work to end this practice that dooms many families to a lifetime of debt and poverty.

References
http://www.unicef.org/factoftheweek/index_49929.html
http://www.unicef.org/har09/index.html
http://www.tbl.com.pk/child-labour-a-tragedy/
http://www.childinfo.org/

No women Land...

While walking on the road with one of my colleague he starts starring at a women coming from opposite side and didn’t even blinked his eyes until she passed us. After that I asked him that what will be your feeling if someone glared at you without any reason. He just smiled and took his head down. I haven’t talked to him for rest of our way to bus stop. But then I realized that my colleague and millions of other men like us never think how awkward millions of women every day feel at being stared at by everyone from teenage street urchins to senile senior office executives.

Whenever we talk about women freedom in Pakistan two things comes in our mind straight away; staring lustful eyes of men from all around and conservative sayings from so called mulla’s and elder people. Even our young generation plays its role too to demoralize the females in every aspect of life.

“Thank God I am not born woman in this country” I have heard this sigh of relief many a times in my life. And it do make practical sense in a society where burying women alive for pride is a custom, sprinkled wit acid for teaching a lesson and beaten like animals just for getting late to serve meal to their demy Gods.

We always hide ourselves behind the Islamic cover of women rights, but ever we think that what Islam really teaches us and what we are doing. How many times we hear any thing about women rights from our prayer leader? The answer will be equals to seeing a moon on 30th February. Does Islam teach us to treat women like prisoners in our home or does it teach to do what is going on in our northern areas.

It is a pity that our religion has been brought to a point where it has been reduced to nothing but a way to kill women’s freedom and terrorize them into becoming identity-less beings meant only to be used and abused for supposedly procreating only.

Inagural Post

Hi every body this is my first post at blogspot and i am new here.
