So in that Sport plus, they put the tach and digital speedo on one side - reminds me of Mini, and the other side is what - shows you what gear the DCT is in?

In an industry full of odd photo shoots, this is definitely one of the oddest. The perfectly dressed design team that occupy the first 25 or so photos had me rolling. It was just weird.

And then the old-timey pilot who appears to be living out af a hangar. What?Still, that cockpit looks like a damn fine place to be (pic #45). Too bad it's an automatic.

To each his own, of course, but this is one of the most beautiful car designs I've ever seen. It reminds me of the Alpha Romeo giulietta sprint veloce Zagato also a breathtaking auto.

The only thing I might add is an ///M badge next to the Zagato "Z"...

I'm not seeing the CRX in the rear, aside from the black. But more so I'm seeing some of what looks like the confusion at the rear of Lotus Elise. Not the same lines, but the same confusion.

To me its the weakest link in this design. I think simpler and cleaner would have been better here.

I mean the Zagato car makes me dislike the 6 series even more. I've posted regularly that the 6 series does not look aggressive enough - but since you don't remember apparently I've not posted it enough!

I don't think the Zagato is perfect, but it has that aggressive look that I think is greatly lacking in the 6. I do think the 4dr 6 is very handsome however, but the 6 would have been better like a larger version of this Zagato car.

Don't like the 6er or this?

I am huge fan up until they went all CRX on the rear. I'm not sure if they were trying to be more modern in looks or feared it would be too similar to some of the other Italian offerings. There is only so many ways to make a high speed GT cars rear...

These e28 ///M5 reviews come out every year a few days after I start driving mine. His comments were the same thoughts I've had going through my head the past 2 days of driving mine, I just couldn't say them as well.

Wife's Countryman had to be towed the other day (thermostat), so I left her with my MINI GP and broke out my 70k M5, even though it's been raining. So much fun to slide the tail around with no electronics to get in the way. It is from a different era, even the e34 feels modern, while this seems vintage in a good way. By the numbers this car doesn't make much sense anymore, but by the seat of the pants there is still nothing like it, and once it's moving I can still blow past almost anything on the highway. With just a chip, cam gear and exhaust it's over 300hp, and without the self-leveling suspension, replaced at Dinan with a stage 3 suspension, is under 3000 lbs. BTW I live and bought the car near Philadelphia with 36k 13 years ago, and did the most sensible thing you can do with a low mileage classic. Drove it to California a month later, for the stop at Dinan while I was on the way to the Monterey Historics and Pebble Beach.

There is definitely a lot of excitement coming from BMW folks with the opening of the brand store in that area especially since Mercedes flagship store on the Champs Elysees (literally 2 mnts walking distance from BMW's) has been around for as long as I can remember. Not sure who came up with the first picture, but it definitely doesn't give justice to the store nor the street where it is located.
