America has now became the largest Commercial partner of India. Move over, China: US is now biggest trading Partner. In the fiscal year 2021-22, surpassing China, India seems to have deepened ties with the US, making the world's largest democracy its top Trading Partner.

In the bilateral trade between the US and India stood at $119.42 billion (9.25 lakh crore rupees) as against 80.51 billion in the previous year, according to Indian Commerce ministry. For China the figure stood at $115.42 billion in the same period.

The US is among the few countries with which India has a trade surplus, meaning exports exceed imports. The Exports to the US rose to $ 76.11 billion in the reporting period, while the imports increased to $43.31 billion.

Sometime during 1781 A D..

When the British army was camping at a station called Thakkolam, a place close to Vellore in Tamilnadu, a British soldier by name Le Vellian, belonging to the 33rd regiment of the British Army was lying down almost dead in his bed ,for many days, after he was brutally injured by a bullet…

After several days of battle with his life and with no further hopes left for his recovery, Le Vellian was left to his fate by the British army doctors...Le Vellian too was literally praying for a peaceful departure from this world.. And exactly at that time, one day..

A 12 – year old mystic Hindu boy came to serve Tea in that army camp.. After serving Tea to all the major officials in the camp, the boy then went straight to Le Vellian’s bunker and greeted him saying..

Good morning sir.

At that time, Le Vellian was lying in an extremely sick condition on his bed...He was just alive and nothing more than that..Without even turning his head towards the tea boy,Le Vellian too said “Good morning” but with a little disinterest in his voice..

Transferring Tea into a cup, the Tea boy said. Sir, with your kind permission may I tell you something..? ? ..”

“Whattt..??..”.. asked a fully irritated Le Vellian, who at that moment was still in great pain. He was in fact in no mood to talk to any one.. However, taking the soldier by surprise this was what the 12 year old mystic Hindu Tea boy told Le Vellian.

“Sir, I know you are in pain for several days.. I also know that you lost all your hopes of any recovery. But sir. Please listen to me and offer your prayers to Lord Sri Venkateswara of Tirumala temple. Tirumala is a Temple very near to this place and Lord Sri Venkateswara is the most powerful God in this world Am sure He will save you from death..Trust me sir..”

With a little curiosity in his voice and a little dazzle in his eyes this time,Le Vellian then slowly turned towards the Tea boy and said “..Thanks my dear, but what do you want me to do for that..’..

With a smile,the Boy replied”..Thanks for taking my words sir..All that you have to do is to just offer your prayers to Lord Sri Venkateswara and request Him to heal you fully.. ”

And now with more hope in his voice,Le Vellian asked the boy..”Okay my dear..I would certainly do..But how to offer my prayers to a Hindu God... I have never done that before..You need to help me do that..”And this time

Without seeking any permission from Le Vellian,the 12 – year old mystic Hindu Boy walked with all the divine command in this world to the bedside of Le Vellian; held both his hands first; brought them close to each other...

And later bringing them together,by creating a traditional Hindu NAMASTE posture,raised Le Vellian’s hands and turned them towards the direction wherein the most powerful Tirumala temple is located and surprising Le Vellian further,very loudly chanted holy Lord Sri Venkateswara’s most favorite sloka..“.. Vinaa Venkatesam Nanatho Nanathah.. Sadaa Venkatesam Smaraami Smaraami.. Hare Venkatesa Praseeda Praseedah.. Priyam Venkatesa Prayachcha Prayachchah. .”“.. Aham Doora Tasthe Padaam Bhoja Yugmah.. Pranamechcha Ya Gachcha Sevaam Karomi..Sakrut Sevayaa Nitya Sevaa Phalantvam.. Prayachcha Prayachcha Prabho Venkatesaa..”

Amazing was the boy to the eyes of Le Vellian that moment..After completing the chanting of the divine sloka,the Boy,still holding a much surprised Le Vellian’s hands,closed his eyes for a few moments and silently offered his personal prayers to Lord Sri Venkateswara. .

Furthermore amazed at the command with which the Hindu boy held both his hands and also at the ease with which he had chanted the intricate Sanskrit sloka,Le Vellian slowly got up in his bed; turned both his hands that were still held in a NAMASTE posture towards the smiling mystic boy and offered him his salutations. .PEACEAfter that divine drama..

Le Vellian who had lost all his hopes of any recovery from that near dead situation had quite miraculously regained a complete normalcy in just about a few days time..

This miraculous recovery of Le Vellian shocked the British Army Doctors who have by then had literally written him off as a medical ‘case of complete hopelessness beyond recovery’..

Much later,as he could not personally visit the Tirumala temple due to his job constraints, Le Vellian requested his friend,an Indian soldier by name Ramachandra Ganesh,to visit the Tirumala hill Shrine on his behalf and offer the holy Lord Sri Venkateswara what he promised to offer...EPILOGUE

“Vinaa Venkatesam” sloka although is an integral part of Sri Venkateswara Suprabhatham, was however written and recited first by Sri Markandeya Maharshi,when He visited the Tirumala hills and offered this sloka to Lord Sri Venkateswara. .PERIOD

In the later period,the story of Le Vellian’s miraculous recovery reached the governing authorities of the British Kingdom..In 1801,after having known the sanctity and powers of Lord Sri Venkateswara and the Tirumala Temple,the British took over the administration of the Temple from the hands of the Nawabs of Arcot for lack of discipline and misappropriation of funds in the Temple..

Later in 1821,strictly in accordance with the norms of the Tirumala Temple,the British introduced what is called the Bruce Code..This code has 42 provisions formulated in it with well defined customs and duties meant both for the Tirumala Temple as well as for the Hindu officials working there..

Quite surprisingly, the ruthless British,known for their iconoclastic nature,never interfered with the day to day affairs and rituals of the Tirumala Temple except taking care of it’s administration. .After that divine incident,renowned British personalities like Sir Thomas Monroe and Colonel Geo Stratten went on to become great devotees of Lord Sri Venkateswara. .

During their tenure of office in India,they have never allowed the British army to camp anywhere close to the Tirumala Hill Shrine and also never allowed any British national enter the Tirumala Hills with footwear..

Some of the great European churches,unable to bear with Lord Sri Venkateswara’s supremacy over the world,proposed to establish at least one Holy CROSS on the Tirumala Hills those days.but the strict British administration had ruthlessly rejected all such proposals..Finally the most important point..

After that incident in the army camp,Le Vellian and the whole of British army had made a frantic search for that 12 – year old mystic Hindu Tea Boy but they couldn’t find Him anywhere..Who was HE..?? ..And where did He come from..??“..Sarva Avayava Soundaryaa Sampada Sarva Chetasam Sada Sammohanayastu Sri Venkatesaya Mangalam..”

All the 26 soldiers were evacuated to an army field hospital post the accident

At least 7 soldiers killed in vehicle accident in Ladakh river

The total 26 soldiers was moving from the transit camp in Partapur to a forward location in Sub Sector Hanif. The vehicle skidded off the road and fell in Shyok river, resulting in injuries to all occupants. the Indian Army said in a statement.

Note:

PM Modi said he was anguished by the bus accident in Ladakh in which we have lost our brave Army personnel. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. I hope those injured recover at the earliest. All possible assistance is being given to the affected, PM Modi tweeted.

Following are some instances when silence could speak louder than voice.

Take 1:

Field Marshal Sam Bahadur Maneckshaw once started addressing a public meeting at Ahmedabad in English.

The crowd started chanting, "Speak in Gujarati.

We will hear you only if you speak in Gujarati."

Field Marshal Sam Bahadur Maneckshaw stopped.

Swept the audience with a hard stare and replied,

"Friends, I have fought many a battle in my long career.

I have learned Punjabi from men of the Sikh Regiment;

Marathi from the Maratha Regiment;

Tamil from the men of the Madras Sappers;

Bengali from the men of the Bengal Sappers,

Hindi from the Bihar Regiment; and

Even Nepali from the Gurkha Regiment.

Soon after getting freedom from British rule in 1947, the de-facto prime minister of India, Jawahar Lal Nehru called a meeting of senior Army Officers to select the first General of the Indian army.

Nehru proposed, "I think we should appoint a British officer as a General of The Indian Army, as we don't have enough experience to lead the same."

Having learned under the British, only to serve and rarely to lead, all the civilians and men in uniform present nodded their heads in agreement.

However one senior officer, Nathu Singh Rathore, asked for permission to speak.

Nehru was a bit taken aback by the independent streak of the officer, though, he asked him to speak freely.

Rathore said, "You see, sir, we don't have enough experience to lead a nation too, so shouldn't we appoint a British person as the first Prime Minister of India?"

you could hear a pin drop.

After a pregnant pause, Nehru asked Rathore,

"Are you ready to be the first General of The Indian Army?"..

Rathore declined the offer saying "Sir, we have a very talented army officer, my senior, Gen. Cariappa, who is the most deserving among us."

This is how the brilliant Gen. Cariappa became the first General and Rathore the first ever Lt. General of the Indian Army.

Shivaji was a a King of International fame. In the span of 30 years of his career he fought with only two Indian warriors. All the others were outsiders.

Shahista Khan, who feared even in his dreams was king of Abu Taliban and Turkistan.

Behloll Khan Pathan, Sikandar Pathan, Chidar Khan Pathan were all warrior sardars of Afghanistan.

Diler Khan Pathan was the great warrior of Mongolia. all of them bit dust in front of Shivaji.

Siddhi Jowhar and Salaba Khan were Iranian warriors, who got defeated by Shivaji.

Siddhi Jowhar later planned a sea attack. In response Shivaji raised a navy, the first Indian Navy. But before accomplishing the task Shivaji left this world. (He was poisoned.)

Google "Shivaji, the Management Guru." It's a full subject in Boston University.

Yet, we Indian know so little about him ....what a pity . . . .at least let us make our future generation to know about this great INDIAN.

1. These Rules and conditions herein shall be applicable to all existing Authority, Kakatiya Urban Development Authority and Basara Urban development Authority, Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and Gram Panchayats falling in the Master Plan limits in the State of Telangana.

2. Unapproved sub-division of plots, existing unapproved layouts or ventures promoted by land owners/ private developers/ firms/ companies/ property developers /Societies where the plots have been sold by registered sale deed on or before 28.10.2015.

3. These Rules are only intended for regulating the unplanned development and shall be applicable to all unapproved layout areas which have clearance from the competent authorities under the Urban Land Ceiling and Regulation Act 1976, AP Land Reforms (Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings) Act, 1973 wherever required and which have not been entered in the Prohibitory Register of lands maintained by the Revenue Department.

    HERO COMPANY'S NEW BIKE ION TOTALLY FUEL CONCEPT NEW BIKE

      Hero Motocorp unveiled the Hero iON Hydrogen-fuel cell vehicle concept at the Auto Expo. Using a new type of Lithium-Air batteries, the iON is powered by electric wheel rim motors which are fed power by these lithium-air batteries and a hydrogen fuel cell range extender. Super capacitors promise smooth energy flow for accelerating and braking the iON.

   The Li-Air technology promises high energy density since they use oxygen from the air instead of storing in an oxidizer internally. The open wheels contain the rotor component of the hubless electric traction motors which use magnetic levitation technology that work on zero friction. The result is 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds, a top-speed of 160 km/h and a range of 300 km.
     Further science fiction stuff can be found in the advanced suspension system, called the m-link. It utilizes magneto-rheological damping which adapts to the road condition in real time using several on-board sensors. These sensors continuously vary the power of the electromagnet that controls the damping characteristics of the suspension system.

The iON does not get a traditional steering. Instead, the bike steers through a rotating front and rear wheel. Multi-axis gyros and accelerometers maintain the stability at all times.
The price is to be expected around Rs.75,000/-

Stars, including Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR Jr., Allu Arjun and Ramcharan Tej sent out messages to fans asking them to do their best to alleviate the millions of people suffering from the effects of Hudhud.
In an expression of support to the Hudhud-affected people of Visakhapatnam in particular and North Andhra in general, top stars of the Telugu film industry on Tuesday announced donations totalling to over Rs. 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Not stopping with donating money, stars, including Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR Jr., Allu Arjun and Ramcharan Tej sent out messages to their fans asking them to rally together and do their best to alleviate the millions of people suffering from the effects of Hudhud.
The highest amount announced was by Pawan Kalyan, who individually contributed Rs. 50 lakh. In a release, he said he was anguished by the calamity and that the plight of lakhs of people who were destabilised was unimaginable. “It is in times like these that we should rise above parties and politics , he said, appealing to his fans and supporters to come out and participate in relief operations.The next highest contribution, of Rs. 25 lakh, was from Mahesh Babu, N.T. Rama Rao, Prabhas and Allu Arjun (Rs. 20 lakh each), Krishna (Rs.15 lakh) and his wife Vijaya Nirmala (Rs. 10 lakh) and Rs. 10 lakh from Ramcharan Tej. All of them recalled their gratefulness to people of North Andhra and specifically of Visakhapatnam for supporting them, their films and their families for years together. Interestingly, ‘Burning Star’ Sampoornesh Babu donated Rs. 1 lakh and producer of ‘3G Love’ Pratap Kolagatla also contributed Rs. 1 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Speaking to presspersons at the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank here, Mr. Ramcharan also said he was donating Rs. 5 lakh to the Ramakrishna Mission, apart from contributing to food for 5,000 people.

Dhanush Action-comedy VIP Gets U Certificate

Dhanush’s upcoming release ‘Velaiyilla Pattathari’ (VIP), which marks the actor’s 25th movie in the Tamil Film industry, has been given a U certificate by Censor Board of Film Certification.

The romatic action—drama will see Dhanush playing lead character opposite actress Amala Paul, while Samuthirakani and Saranya Ponvannan play supporting roles.

“Dear fans, press and media, I’m super excited to announce that VIP has been censored with a ‘u’ certificate and will release on coming 18th,” Dhanush tweeted.

'Velaiyilla Pattathari’, which releases on July 18, is produced by Dhanush. The ‘Kolaveri Di’ hitmaker had also lent his voice for three songs in the film.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania Old Formula In New Clothes Movie Review

Alia Bhatt’s Kavya Singh is not too different from Ananya from 2 States – a spunky, spoilt, obstinate girl who wants to marry, not the man her parents have chosen for her, but the man of her choosing. However it is up to the said boy to win over the trust and consent of her hardheaded father (Ashutosh Rana) who is nursing old wounds.

In this case Rakesh Sharma, aka Humpty from Delhi, the only son of a bookshop owner, must win over Kavya’s hotheaded, chauvinistic Punjabi family from Ambala. Humpty and Kavya’s chance meeting happens in Delhi where she has arrived to buy her designer wedding lehenga. Like many modern romcoms, there is no substance to this love story – he sees her dancing at a party in western wear and selling her gold earrings and love happens. He saves her friend from humilation and she’s putty in his hands. A kiss and cut to a scene of bare shoulders, a bare torso and the morning after. But she will not hurt her already hurting father, who has never recovered from seeing one daughter’s love marriage end badly, and returns to Ambala leaving Humpty behind.

Now Humpty shows up at the wedding house. Papa Singh gives him five days to prove that Kavya’s betrothed Angad (Siddharth Shukla) is not good enough for her. Turns out, he’s perfect, making Humpty’s task all the more challenging. But ultimately a hot-headed Punjabi man finds that one cut from the same cloth – and not the educated, sensitive, pacifist – is best for his daughter. Love, as numerous Bollywood movies have proven, conquers all, especially when the climax takes place at a train station.

Director Shashank Khaitan is of that generation that is so influenced by Raj and Simran’s love story in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge that references to the film abound in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. In the context of contemporary India, it means that designer lehengas and Maruti cars define Kavya and Humpty’s aspirations. This is the shallow world of Khaitan’s film with formulaic good- hearted grandmothers and understanding mothers, two do-or-die best friends, a doting single parent, and wedding songs and dances.

Where Khaitan scores is in the dialogues, which are natural, funny, snappy and delivered smoothly by the actors. Alia Bhatt is clearly a star – she is the whole package, even if her dancing is a bit weak. Let’s hope she doesn’t get stuck playing the same role in all her films – of the one-dimensional young girl who knows she will get what she wants. Humpty is also written as a vehicle to show off Varun Dhawan’s appeal – his dancing and his connect with teenaged girls. If only he would not sound tapori even when he is playing a Dilli boy.

As the devoted friends Poplu (Sahil Vaid) and Shonty (Gaurav Pandey) add a layer that the film is otherwise deeply lacking. But then complexity and maturity are not part of the formula of contemporary teenage love stories.

Salman Khan Beats Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan’s chase sequence in the film, Darr has been holding the industry record of the longest chase sequence. With Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick, Salman Khan is all set to break that record.

Salman Khan, who plays a Devilish character in the film, has a long chase sequence that is shot in Delhi. There are a couple of chase sequences in the film on various vehicles; bicycle, modified bike and a double decker bus. But this one, shot in Old Delhi is more complicated as it had to be shot on busy streets and narrow lanes. It involves complex stunts like Salman Khan doing wheelie and jumps with the bicycle.
Audiences will get to see Salman Khan doing unusual stunts at some landmark places in Delhi, where they shot this chase sequence.
There were multiple cameras that were set up, some on the terrace of buildings as well to get the shots right. The production team is so excited about this sequence that they are wanting to approach the Limca book of records to officially hold the record.
However, since they are extremely busy with promotions and post productions work now, they have decided to do it sometime post the release of the film.
