Son materias primas que permiten un coste relativamente bajo del</span></span><span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"> biocombustible, pero con el gran inconveniente de ser alimentos, por lo que su valorización energética compite directamente con la alimentación humana, encareciendo su precio y generando graves problemas sociales.<br /></span></span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Una alternativa interesante es el uso de los <span style="font-weight: bold;">materiales lignocelulósicos</span>, que no tienen aplicación alimentaria.
