It also happens to be everybody’s birthday today! Also know as 人日, which literally means Human Day.   It has been a long long long time since all the cousins, aunts and uncles gathered at Ah Kong (Grandfather)’s house. Since grandpa’s passing, we’ve stopped the weekly saturday meets at his house.

So, it’s a wonder that I attend cooking class when I’m overseas. But, it was an interesting experience! I even got tested and had a certificate! How cool is that?  We actually signed up for a cooking school on the web, but were talked into joining another coooking class by our hotel receptionist who had rave reviews about it. We
