We’re still a couple weeks away from launching, but they’re coming and they’re going to knock your socks off. If you’re interested in beta testing for us, send an email to nolan [at] bitfires [dot] com with the subject “BETA TEST”.

Also for all of our fellow iPhone developers, we have something very special for you in the pipeline. If you want a sneak peek, send a email to the same address above with the subject “SNEAK PEEK”.

Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day and we just wanted to remind all of our customers to do what they can to honor the veterans that have fought for this country.

Both Chris and I proudly served in the US Navy, serving tours of duty around the world and we wanted to take today to honor those who came before us and those still serving their country.

Please, take a minute today to thank a veteran and their family for everything they have sacrifice for our continuing freedom. Believe us when we say a handshake and a thank you makes it all worth it.

Today we’re proud to announce Tumble Pro, the best way to publish and view your Tumblr on your iPhone.

With Tumble Pro you can use multiple accounts, add your location to posts, view your dashboard, post to your groups and many more new features. Don’t worry though, Tumble Pro is just as simple and easy to use as the original Tumble.

We will be submitting it to the App Store this week so keep an eye out for it soon.

We've sold Call a Cab

Hi everyone. Recently our application Call a Cab was acquired by CABBUX, LLC and will no longer be sold under the Bitfire Systems name. We will continue to provide support for Call a Cab, in addition to a version of the program released by CABBUX under a different name. So please keep sending your questions this way. Thanks.

Tumble continues to get positive reviews

Tumble continues to get positive reviews:
Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback on Tumble. We noticed a minor error in 1.1, so please ignore our spelling fault for a few days and we will have it corrected as soon as Apple can post our 1.1.1 update.

A few bugs have been brought to our attention and we got right on it to fix them. Tonight we submitted the Tumble 1.1 update to fix all those issues including telling you when you’re logged in, alerting you when you’ve posted successfully and adding an indicator to show the application is working to submit your post to tumblr.

We’ve also added a feature to save your own QuickPosts and quickly use them and changed the icons just to make it a little more pretty. We can admit that we made some mistakes, it was going to happen eventually so we might as well get it out of the way. We are committed to making great software for you and all our customers so please let us know if there is anything we can improve upon in any of our applications.

We hope you all enjoy it but we’re already working hard to bring more features to Tumble. If you have any suggestions we’d love to hear them, you can get ahold of us here.

I wanted to introduce myself to all of you and let you in on the good news. We’ve added our second iPhone application to the Apple App Store.

Call a Cab, a simple, intuitive application that makes getting a cab as a easy as pressing a button. We figure that after a fun time going out, you may need to get taxi at the end of the night. Instead of searching for a cab company online or walking around trying to hail one, we take care of all the work. We get your location, find the cab companies nearest to you and tell you the nearest cross streets so you know where you are. All you have to do is choose a cab to call, or if you don’t care just press the large call button to get one one on the phone right away.

Use Call a Cab to get home safe.
