This spur-of-the-moment trip was very timely since I need some time to relax, been having bleeding episodes again:( These people definitely made my day!;*

SURVIVOR CARAMOAN

Our trip to Caramoan Islands in Camarines Sur. In this beautiful part of Camarines Sur is where they shoot some of the Survivor Series franchise. When we went there, we bumped with the cast and crew of Survivor Israel. (No pictures though of the cast or set, not allowed.) Anyway, Here are some of the highlights of our trip:)

First, let's start with the our version of SURVIVOR CARAMOAN.

March 27: Day 1 *The journey to Caramoan*

*"small" boat and canoe from Paniman bay to Omang Cave
* Angel and I weren't able to climb and join them see the Omang cave because our slippers are not for hiking hehe:) We just mingled with some Survivor Israel contestants and drank buko juice hehe!:)

March 28: Day 2 *Grotto @ Tabgon*
*Boat from Paniman to Tabgon
*Visit the Our Lady of Peace Statue on top of Mt. Caglago
*On top you can see the amazing view of panoramic Caramoan Peninsula

excited for summer 2010

Since 2006, I’ve been going on out of town trips with friends every summer. We’ve been to places like Kawayan Cove in Batangas, Puerto Galera, Tagaytay, Baguio, Clearwater in Clark Pampanga and in Bagac, Bataan (where they shot the tv series Zorro hehe)

By the way, I just noticed in my pictures, we just love to JUMP! haha:) (see pictures) Anyway, It was only last year that I wasn’t able to plan any out of town trips because I’ve been struggling with health issues.

Poor me, confined in the hospital and at home the entire summer of last year. Boooo!!!!

January of this year, I had a pre-taste of summer when we went to Boracay, Aklan (PI) for Jessica's wedding (she's my high school best friend). I told Mic how I missed the sun, sand, water and the fresh air. I wished we could go out of town more often.

After Boracay, I’ve been so sickly again.:( That’s why I’m surprised when Mic agreed that we join our friends who are planning an out of town trip end of March to Caramoan, Camarines Sur(PI). Soooo happy!!!!:) I’m getting excited to have another sun and sand bonding with my friends. Probably we’ll take another jump shot again! Haha! I’ll definitely take lots of pictures - getting trigger happy!!!:)

But right now since I’m still my sickly self, I need to be at least not “sakitin” for a month so that I’ll enjoy this trip. For the meantime, please pass the soup and vitamins!!!:(

A lot of people my age will agree that "One More Chance" was the best Pinoy film they ever saw. It's in my Itunes and I've seen the flick a million times haha. I saw the movie while going through a bad break up more than 2 years ago and it was really swak na swak. At times you'll relate to Popoy or Basha. You'll even relate to side characters of the movie like Popoy and Basha's friends in the movie because one way or another, you'll be a friend to people going through heartaches. I was reminded of this movie when a colleague was going through a break-up months ago. Here are my favorite lines in this flick.

I really like what she said here. I can relate to it because weeks ago, I'm sort of contemplating about aging another year with all the health crisis I'm going through plus career issues etc. It made me think of a lot of "what ifs", what if I did this when I was younger, what if I pursued that.. etc. Reading this made me realize that who I am today, is because of how my past molded me. Come to think of it, I don't want to go back to my past. Struggles before were different and I am glad that all of those struggles are over. When I think of what's ahead of me, it excites me. It also makes me realize of the blessings I have now. This quote is an eye opener. I don't want to limit myself anymore of what I can and cannot do. Age is just a number. It doesn't go hand in hand with achievements. I just need to face ahead and make things happen again. I can still be a risk taker at 25:) I am happy to be 25! I am now a "silver girl":) Quarter life crisis, boo-hoo! Adios!:)

After Monday Sickness, here comes Tue'zzz'day!!! I am so dizzy looking at this...

that it made me browse around a couple of minutes so I can get my energy back again.

I visited a couple of cute sites. If we have internet during my gradeschool years, this sites will surely be on my bookmarks. One of the sites I visited is Sanrio.com and it's a trip down memory lane as I recall how I would strive for decent grades before just so my mom will buy me something from GiftGate when we go to the mall. Here's an E-card I made..

I got curious where Pam got her nice avatar and I asked for the link. Look What I found!!! COFFEE GIRLS pictures that's so perfect for my office pals. It fits each of our personalities so it's really "bagay"! Aren't we adorable in cartoons? Hahaha! We used it as our YM avatars. Sooo Lovely!!! I personally haven't experienced having someone close to me suffer this disease. My mom lost a friend because of breast cancer and I heard a lot of stories about it. All I know is that this disease has caused a lot of pain and struggles to many families and relationships worldwide. It's good to support such a cause because it will enlighten a lot of people about breast cancer. Fund studies on how to prevent it and cure it and eventually it will benefit all of us.

You don't need to send money to support this campaign. There's this way where you can earn points by sharing your stories and inviting people to download the toolbar or add this application.

National Makeover Month

Saw this in Ivillage today. It's very timely because I just got my haircut this week. The stylist chopped off like around 5 inches off my locks. I feel lighter and my hair is more manageable. It dries faster than my long do, so I go out of the house not sporting dripping hair scenario anymore. Haha!:)

Two weeks ago we went to Podium and El Pueblo.

Last night we ate dinner at Burgoo in Robinsons Galleria. Carlo tag along too. We were like kids giggling and laughing at each others doodles in the middle of our talkathon (what else?!) My only wish is that we can burn like a 1000 calories with a Talkathon! Hahaha!:) Sooo Full!!! Walked back to Unionbank Bldg and chugged down 2 mugs of green tea.
