But don't get the wrong impression,

I am moving to a bigger and better site

It's time that my blog gets a style and identity of its own.

Save Innocent Lives And Stop Abortion.

"Our project was about creating an advocacy that our whole block is to stand by and support. We chose this advocacy because we see it as very timely in today's generation, with abortions being conducted nonchalantly everyday. It's either having second thoughts about having a baby, or running from responsibility on the parents' part."

FMA8, one of the multimedia arts blocks in SDA, created this design for their advocacy project. I am against abortion in any way because I believe that every life is a gift from Him and we should value the lives of every child there is, even the unborn. I had a chat with Carl Chavez, their block president and the one who made the design about this, about this cause that they are promoting.

"The design on our shirt was inspired by the unborn children we saw preserved in jars in our different science laboratories during our high school days. With our advocacy's tagline, "Save innocent lives, stop abortion," we planned to express that every time you abort a baby, you take an innocent life away. We want children to experience life outside the womb, because we'll never know who they could have been if they were aborted. They could be the next greatest artist, writer, fashion designer, lawyer, doctor, engineer, and so many other things. They could be anyone. They could have been you."

"Our goal is to convince parents to stand up for the life they have created. Children deserve a chance to live. By spreading our advocacy, we are hoping that we will be able to decrease the abortion rate in the Philippines, and, given enough time, the world. Also, all proceeds from our shirt sales will go to the organization of an outreach program for the children of Bantay Bata."

I ask that you support their advocacy project against abortion.

Mi love Monica, PB and I hurriedly walked from Simple Line

(we prefer their milk tea more than Zen Tea) to SDA. When we entered,

we immediately saw a familiar face who stood out from the crowd

and it was none other than our lovely Vern Enciso! I screamed

and gave her a big hug! It has been a long time since we last saw

each other. To be exact, it has been twelve days. Haha!

I asked her why she's in SDA and I smiled when she told me that

she went in our school just to have her outfit taken by our buddy

I dropped by Harrison Plaza a while ago to go ukay-ukay shopping and I

found these items after fifteen minutes of painstakingly going through the

racks of clothes.

When I saw this, the first thing that went into my mind was BJ Pascual's Wild Bloom

editorial in the latest issue of Garage Magazine. I'll probably wear this for Beaute on Thursday.

The story:

I got so bored at home so I decided to drive to Makati.

First stop: The Collective. I miss this place. It saddens me that some of the shops are closed already.

I had an early dinner in my favorite noodle house, Wabi-Sabi.

Back in freshman year, my buddy Bryan Arcebal and I would eat here after classes.

It made me smile that my photo's still on their wall. I'm on the Ramen team!

Their Banh My is so heavenly. For those who don't know,

Banh My is Vietnamese baguette. This one has sliced carrots, cucumbers, pork, etc.

Afterwards, I went to No. 38 for our Mega Fashion Crew viewing party.

Meet Angelo de Cartagena. He's my stylist in the first episode and I'm glad that we've become so close since then. We joke that Gelo Arucan's the "legal wife" and he's the mistress! Haha! We'll be having a shoot this month together with two of our fellow contestants so watch out for that!

Unlike last week, there were only nine of us who went to tonight's viewing party.

It's always fun to watch the show with my MFC family.

The Friday Project.

I have been planning to do this simple project since the Bloggers United Bazaar but never actually had the time to work on it. I told myself today that I would not do anything else unless I start and finish on this project. I find my bedroom’s longest wall boring so I thought of putting all my photographs on it so that I can see what I have done so far and also be inspired of taking photographs everyday.

I collated all my best photographs that I have taken in the past ten months and had them developed.
There are a total of a hundred and three photos!

I was assisted by our awesome kasambahays in this project. It took us an hour and a half to finish sticking the photos, removing some and then sticking them again on different areas of my wall. I thought a hundred and three photos would be enough but look at how much space there still is! I guess it'll be filled with more and better photos as the months go by! After my room’s big doodle wall (as partly seen on the left) comes my photography wall.

My love Avi Castaño and I spent our lunch break in our favorite japanese restaurant, Yutaka Izakaya!

I usually order my favorite Tonkatsu Kare whenever we would eat in here.

After classes, I met up with my other love Monica Mariano and helped her out with her event that we organized in collaboration with the Saint Benilde Romancon Dance Company. I was asked to host the opening part of the program.

Meet Nicole de Guzman, she's one of my anaks in the FMAA ID111 block. Monica and I are very proud of how talented our anaks in FMAA are!

Barbie Girl Turns Seventeen.

It was my lil' sister Verniece Enciso's birthday yesterday and I

surprised her with this.

This is the first unveiled photograph from our Life In Plastic shoot.

I decided to add a touch of Katy Perry with the font that I used.

I wanted my gift to be priceless and special so I had her photo

printed on a large scale and framed. I gave it to her while

she's still in her class. Happy birthday again, Verniece!

And for me, my biggest accomplishment in the show is that I was able to bring smiles, touch the hearts and make a difference to the lives of fifty-nine very talented individuals who I now consider as family. No regrets. Thank you so much MEGA Magazine for the opportunity! To everyone, thank you so much for your overwhelming support. I am forever grateful! As I would always say it, carpe diem, just continue living life to the fullest!

There ls Something About Manuela.

Back in February, I had a shoot with a girl named Manuela Basilio.

My good friend Yeoh Egwaras casted her for my shoot in Makati.

As I said in my post before (Sunday Shoot), she's a true Filipina beauty

and no doubt she'll be a supermodel one day.

So this is Manuela in our first shoot together.

And then I received an unexpected call back in April from

my idol, the BJ Pascual. He asked for Manuela's number

for a shoot he is doing and so I gave it right away.

Then these happened:

What better way to end the month than a fun photo shoot with the peoplewho are close to your heart?

After weeks of preparation, our Life In Plastic shoot's done. The team composed of B&G with my resident makeup artist, mi love Avi Castaño. Our model? None other than Verniece Enciso herself. I have become so close with her ever since she started studying in SDA. We're like siblings already! I find it funny sometimes that I'm close with the very lovely Enciso sisters and I know stuff about Vern that I think Verniece doesn't know about and I know stuff about Verniece that I think Vern doesn't know about. Well that was confusing. Haha. We arrived in her place at around ten in the morning and first watched the replay of Mega Fashion Crew before hair and makeup. The actual shoot started before twelve. I got so amazed with her bedroom because it really looks like it's Barbie's bedroom and, as expected, almost everything is pink!

A few days before the shoot, I told Vern that I'll take a photo of her waking up in her pajamas and make an A Shoe Tale scandal photo of her! She jokingly replied that she would dress up fashown, put makeup on, and wear heels before sleeping. Sadly, I was not able to surprise her because she was sleeping with their dad! Sayang. Haha. She joined us in the afternoon and I got to bond with my PFW buddy as well!

We ended at around five. It was a very exhausting six-hour shoot because I had to painstakingly light a different set for each layout. Exhausting but fun! Gelo enjoyed the shoot because, like the army shoot that we did, Barbie is close to his heart. We'll be unveiling the photos this month so make sure to watch out for it.

multimedia arts students and there's no way that we missed out

on this event. My lovely best friends Monica Mariano, Valerie Jiongco

and I decided to dress up like it was really PFW.

Here's what they wore:

This was my first time to attend this yearly conference and I really learned and got inspired by

what their very prestigious speakers talked about. My personal favorite's Dan Matutina and his

very comical talk about his life. I also learned a lot from 27+20's discussion about the design process.

And WETA Digital's exclusive presentation about how they made "the" Avatar

astounded everyone in the audience! Overall, it was a very fruitful discussion.

I am definitely looking forward to next year's Graphika Manila.

I did not take photos throughout the event because I was really focused on what was

being discussed by the speakers. They were that awesome! Haha.
