Beyonce Pregnant Rumors Abound BOUT TIME

2010-03-25T15:14:00.000-07:00

FDB BLACK CITY G'S
Is Beyonce Knowles with child? No confirmation yet, but that's been the speculation among Internet gossip sites recently, who point to a so-called "rock solid" source claiming, "legendary singer Beyoncé and her hip hop mogul husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child together."

Beyonce and Jay-Z (Photo Agency)According to MediaTakeout.com, the singer is doing well and resting (must be tough with her busy schedule!), and she's also planning to keep working throughout her pregnancy. And apparently Jay-Z is thrilled to be expecting his first child with his stunner wife.

Beyonce and Jay-Z tied the knot in April of 2008 after several years of dating. This would be the first child for both hip-hop giants, who've collectively been named Forbes' most powerful couple in the past.

Max B Gains Appeal YES!!!!! FREE MAXB

2010-03-24T21:45:00.000-07:00

FDB BLACK CITY G'SRapper Max B received an appeal to try and overturn his September 2009 murder conviction. A New Jersey judge has set a date for Max B to appeal his case in the hopes of overturning his conviction. His new attorney, Joli O'Shay released a statement saying that they will exhaust all available options to overturn the verdict.

Max was sentenced to 75 years for felony murder, kidnapping, conspiracy, aggravated manslaughter, and armed robbery for masterminding a 2006 heist in where one was killed. The testimony of Max's ex girlfriend Gina Conway was damning. She testified that Max and his step brother, Kelvin Leerdam, targeted two men at a Holiday Inn because they carried around loads of cash.

Max's friend and protégé French Montana says that the rappers spirits are high despite his current situation

FDB BLACK CITY G'SGucci Mane is really taking this reformed stuff seriously. At first it appeared that he was running the clean and sober rap to stay out of jail but now that he's been locked up for a few months he is still acting as the model citizen.

addition to clearing his mind and writing music Gucci has also become a role model. "I try to take a couple of these young guys under my wing and tell them what I've learned, because you can't teach nobody if you don't know anything," Gucci tells AP.

Hopefully this isn't simple jailhouse talk. It would be great to have a rapper who the streets respect be a solid stand up guy that represents something other than money, hoes and selling dope.

Jeezy Changes His Name WHATT!!!!!!

2010-03-24T21:40:00.000-07:00

FDB BLACK CITY G'SIf you have been paying attention to recent credits of songs that Jeezy has appeared on you have seen that the artist formally known as Young Jeezy is now going by Jeezy only.

The change is reflected on the artwork for his single "Lose My Mind," off his upcoming album, Thug Motivation 103. The new name was also reflected on Jeezy's official defjam.com website.

Game Reaches Settlement

2010-03-24T21:38:00.001-07:00

FDB BLACK CITY Compton rapper Game has weaved his way out of some more trouble. According to Southern California Public Radio Game reached a settlement in the civil case where he was accused of assaulting a man on a basketball court and going to retrieve a firearm from his vehicle.

The resolution was reached last week between Shannon Rodrick and Game, according to Taylor's lawyer, Lonnie J. Brandon. The settlement includes payment of an undisclosed sum of money to Rodrick.
Jury selection had been scheduled to begin in trial of the suit today in Los Angeles Superior Court.

We guess Game's denouncement of the gangster rapper label must have actually done some good

Diddy Gets Attacked

Diddy has taken his Ciroc posturing to levels that were not to the liking of a rival Vodka maker. Martin Silver, the baller behind Georgi Vodka took offense to Diddy allegedly saying "If you're not drinking Ciroc vodka, then you're drinking pee pee," at a recent party in New York City.

Silver says unless he gets an apology he is going to deliver a large toilet bowl to Diddy filled with liters of Ciroc. The toilet games are supposed to go down tomorrow.

Diddy receives half of the profits from Ciroc sales.

Suge Vs. Yuk

2010-03-24T21:35:00.000-07:00

FDB BLACK CITY G'S The drama surrounding Yukmouth and Suge Knight has reached new levels of idiocy. The 10 guys who helped Suge rob Yuk have taken a picture with the stolen chain and posted it online. One suspected member of the entourage even tweeted about the incident, Slim Menace typed "blood can get his chain back for free if @40glocc come get it from me....real n**ga sh*t."

Detective Jeff Briscoe spoke to the Associated Press and says that Yukmouth, reported he was talking to Knight on Monday night in a Woodland Hills supermarket parking lot about a debt that another rapper (we're guessing 40 Glocc) allegedly owes Knight. Yukmouth filed a police report (since when do gangstas do that?) saying 10 other men arrived, knocked him down and took his watch, medallion and other jewelry worth $92,000.

Yuk identified Knight as the assailant but later recanted. Apparently Yuk remembered he was the Thug Lord and such individuals don't talk to cops.

Cassidy ft. Ne-Yo "You Got Me Open"

2010-03-24T21:21:00.001-07:00

FDB BLACK CITY G'S It seems like Cassidy is going hard with his music. We just posted a track of he recently with John Legend. This Philly battle rapper is hitting the net with yet another joint, this time he has teamed up with R&B crooner Ne-Yo. Cassidy is seems to gearing a lot of his music towards the ladies. This is sort of a change from his tough-gritty persona. The song sounds like a Cassidy song I’ve heard before, but between the melodic beat and Ne-Yo’s voice, the song is a hit. Plus you know what they say , “If it’s not broke don’t fix it”.
