Arrest Warrant Issued for Cuba Gooding, Jr.

2012-07-31T13:02:00.003-07:00

Wonderwall, Tuesday, July 31, 2012, 12:17pm (PDT)

At this stage in his career, Cuba Gooding, Jr., should just be happy to be recognized at all and not, say, pelted with tomatoes for inflicting "Boat Trip" and "Snow Dogs" on the world. But New Orleans police have issued an arrest warrant for the actor after he allegedly shoved a female bartender following a confrontation with some would-be fans at the Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, report TMZ and Gossip Cop.

Seems the drink-slinger asked the Oscar winner to leave after he got into a "heated exchange" with some fellow bar patrons who were taking his picture. He purportedly shoved the bartender against a wall, resulting in a misdemeanor battery warrant.

“The bartender tried to calm him down, at which time he allegedly pushed her," a New Orleans police department spokesman tells Celebuzz, "and before he left the bar, he pushed her again.”

Someone called 911, but no arrests were made at the scene. Gooding's rep confirms to "Entertainment Tonight" that he was at the bar but offered no further comment.

Cuba is in town filming the Lee Daniels-directed drama "The Butler," which features a cast ranging from Oprah Winfrey to Robin Williams.

He's hardly the first famous face to get in trouble in the Big Easy, joining a club that includes Russell Brand and Nicolas Cage (or, as we like to think of this trio, the future stars of a movie that will finally break Hollywood's spirit).

Janet, Randy and More Banned From Jackson Home

2012-07-31T09:03:00.000-07:00

Wonderwall, Monday, July 30, 2012, 5:39pm (PDT)

Entertainment Tonight -- Attorneys for the estate of Michael Jackson have confirmed to ET that Janet, Randy, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson are currently prohibited from entering the Calabasas home shared by Paris, Prince, Blanket and Katherine Jackson.

Charles Shultz, an attorney for TJ Jackson, Jr. (who is temporarily sharing guardianship of Michael Jackson's children with Katherine) helped to compile the list of persons no longer allowed on the Jackson family property in Calabasas-- namely Janet, Randy, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson.

In a statement to ET, attorneys for Michael Jackson's estate write:

"Following the events of July 23 in which certain members of the Jackson family showed up unannounced at the Calabasas residence of Michael Jackson's mother and children, causing a very public disturbance, the attorneys for the Estate of Michael Jackson as lessees of the house were requested by Charles Schultz, attorney for TJ Jackson, Jr., the newly appointed Temporary Guardian for Michael Jackson's children, to send a list to the security gate of people neither TJ or the children wanted allowed on the premises in view of the incidents that had just taken place. The list may be amended and managed by TJ Jackson Jr. or the Estate when appropriate. It is imperative to the Estate that from this point forward a safe and appropriate environment be provided for Michael Jackson's children and his mother."

This comes just weeks after a relative reported Katherine Jackson missing, which heightened the ongoing dispute over the validity of Michael Jackson's will -- which leaves everything in the pop star's lucrative estate to Katherine and his children. Five of Michael's siblings recently claimed that Michael's will was fake and they have demanded that the executors of his estate should resign.

The estate denies the allegations, which first emerged shortly after Michael Jackson died in June 2009 from an overdose of a powerful anesthetic.

Lakers' Barnes out of jail after arrest

Lakers forward Matt Barnes was arrested on Monday night.

Updated Jul 31, 2012 9:36 AM ET

LOS ANGELES (AP)

Los Angeles Lakers forward Matt Barnes has been released from jail after being arrested on suspicion of threatening a police officer who stopped him for a traffic warrant.

COURTSIDE STARS

Manhattan Beach police Sgt. Paul Ford says Barnes posted $51,000 bail and was released shortly before 11:30 p.m. Monday, some three hours after his arrest.
The 32-year-old Barnes was walking in the Los Angeles suburb when he was stopped and arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for driving on a suspended license.
Ford says Barnes allegedly made a verbal threat to the officer and was arrested for that as well.
A call to the Lakers seeking comment wasn't immediately returned early Tuesday.
Barnes was the Lakers' top-scoring reserve this past season, averaging 7.8 points per game.

Lil Wayne Video Featured Skeletons in a Theater Prior to Batman Massacre

2012-07-27T19:00:00.004-07:00

Infowars.com
July 25, 2012

Fans of the fourth richest rapper in the world Lil Wayne will be disheartened to learn that he may have had a sinister hand in the build up to the Batman massacre psy-op.
His most recent music video for the song “My Homies Still” features imagery closely related to the Batman movie among other disturbing coincidences including, most shocking of all, 12 skeletons sitting in a movie theater while Wayne and his crew rap and dance.

Wayne and another crew member also shield their ears (from gunfire?) at the same time 12 skeletons appear in the scene. Another curious tie to The Dark Knight Rises is this woman wearing a mask similar to the shape of Batman’s:

Even more disturbing is that the video was released just days before the massacre took place the night of July 20th. The official “My Homies Still” video was posted to YouTube on July 17th.
The video has caused widespread speculation further fueling theories that the Batman massacre was a planned and staged false-flag psy-op.
In response, several people have taken to YouTube in attempts to illuminate an otherwise sleeping public.
Several YouTube videos point out similar evidence of Illuminati imagery in Wayne’s video. This would be an extreme coincidence if this was not all part of the plan.
But it is.

As has always been done, the powers-that-be (probably even higher than the owners and managers of the Universal Republic Records label) stipulate certain scenes that absolutely have to appear in videos for them to be funded.
This is all part of a ritualistic satanic “spell” they try to cast that offers the public a hidden reveal before an actual event takes place, a form of predictive programming.
In order for their spell to work, they have to present you the option to “opt out” of the spell, but those without the knowledge to identify the symbolism opt in without knowing.
This is similar to the vampire at your door that can’t come in unless invited. You would not see the video if you didn’t turn on the TV or your computer and “invite” it into your home.
This, in effect, “sealed the deal” and supernaturally charged the ritualistic sacrifices that took place making them all the more powerful.
As Paul Joseph Watson in the past has expounded upon, the modern music industry has been overrun by the Illuminati seeking “to poison the minds of a generation of young people” through symbolism, satanism, and seduction. It is one of the greatest threats facing humanity at this time.

Katherine Jackson Home Site of 'Scuffle' Between Family Members

Michael Jackson's Family Fallout: Siblings Eyeing Custody Battle?

By ANTHONY CASTELLANO

July 24, 2012

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to a "family disturbance" at the Jackson family home after, sources said, Randy, Jermaine and Janet Jackson showed up and apparently tried to take Michael Jackson's kids away.
Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Monday there was a "scuffle" between two family members at the Calabasas home of family matriarch Katherine Jackson, but no arrests were made.
TMZ posted a photo of siblings Janet and Jermaine Jackson standing outside the home around the time police were called, according to the website.
Katherine Jackson's laywer, Sandra L. Ribera, issued a statement today, saying "Jackson family members ambushed Katherine Jackson's home after their vehicle tore through security gates on the tails of the SUV containing Michael Jackson's children."
Ribera said Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson were taken to safe location. "An altercation ensued shortly thereafter and law enforcement arrived at the scene," according to the statement.
ABC News consultant Howard Bragman of Reputation.com said, "This is truly an escalation of what's been going on. There's a lot of private security, so to actually have law enforcement called is a big step up."
It was the latest drama that has plagued the Jackson family in the past few weeks. Katherine Jackson was reported missing Saturday only to be found "resting" with her daughter in Arizona.

Katherine Jackson Reported Missing.

Katherine Jackson Missing?

X17Online obtained a photo of Jackson smiling and playing Uno with her family in Arizona. Her children released a statement Monday saying the missing person's report was "created by the very person and persons we are trying to protect our mother from."
Trent Jackson, Katherine Jackson's nephew and confidante who reported her missing, tweeted Michael Jackson's 14-year-old daughter, Paris: "I know it's completely unfair for them to do this you and your brothers. We will keep trying. I love you."
Paris Jackson tweeted Monday , "8 days and counting. Something is really off, this isn't like her at all. I wanna talk directly to my grandmother."
Katherine Jackson is the legal guardian of her late son's three children and there is no word on who is watching them in Jackson's absence.
Jermaine Jackson released a statement earlier this week about his mother's whereabouts, saying this is all "a conspiracy to deflect attention away from a letter we wrote asking for the resignation of executors" of Michael Jackson's will.
Five of Michael Jackson's siblings last week said his will was fake and the executors of his lucrative estate, John McClain and John Blanca, should step down. Jackson's entire fortune was left to his mother and three kids.
"They [executors of the will] will not stand down because the siblings who were left out of Michael's will want them to," said Zia Modabber, who is the attorney of the Jackson estate.
Howard Mann, Katherine Jackson's business partner, believed money is pulling the family apart.
"I believe that Katherine and the children who are benefactors of the estate fall on one side, and then Randy, Jermaine and Rebbie and Tito fall on the other side," Mann said. "They're a group of people who have a great deal of questions about the administration of the estate."
Modabber said, "I can't speak for them. I don't know what's motivating Jermaine and Randy and some of these others, but money is not a bad guess."
Modabber and Mann faced off in court Monday in a dispute over Mann and Katherine Jackson's selling Michael Jackson merchandise.
"It doesn't matter that it's Howard Mann and he may give some of the money to his family, to Katherine Jackson or anybody else," Modabber said. "You can't take property that belongs to the estate, make money from it, without getting permission from the estate."
Mann's attorney argues the material is and always was owned by Katherine Jackson and her husband, Joe, and not the late King of Pop.
Michael Jackson's estate is now worth about $1 billion and counting.
ABC News' Sheila Marikar contributed to this report.

Cali Pastor Accused Of Having Sex With 12-Year-Old Church Member

Jul 9, 2012

By NewsOne Staff

Gordon Solomom (pictured), pastor of Christ’s Community Church in Inglewood, California has been charged with nine felony counts of allegedly committing lewd acts on a child, KTLA television reports.

Solomon, who is married, allegedly met the girl two years ago at his church. Cops say that the pastor “developed an affinity for the girl.” The alleged relationship involved email exchanges and texts of a “sexual nature” and meetings at various locations. The girl is now 14-years-old.

When the child’s mother saw a text message from the pastor, she immediately called authorities. He was arrested on Wednesday and is being held at the South Los Angeles Station on $3 million bail. Authorities believe that there may be other victims.
One of the church members said it will be up to God to judge Solomon if he pleads guilty to the charges. Another member, Peggy Ann Thurman, said, “You can know a person for 40 years and you don’t know them.”

Morgan Freeman says US doesn't have a black prez

Morgan Freeman has one of the best, most recognizable voices in Hollywood. The words that come out of his mouth always sound amazing — even if what he says is totally from another planet. In an interview with NPR, Freeman expressed his opinion about Barack Obama's heritage, saying that he's not black enough to be America's first black president. "Barack had a mama and she was white, very white American, Kansas, middle of America," Freeman said. He later added, "America's first black president hasn't arisen yet ... [Obama] is America's first mixed-race president." Freeman also criticized the Republican Party for "purposely [thwarting]" Obama. Morgan, how 'bout sticking to words that other people write for you?

Wayne Brady Threatens to 'Slap the Sh-t' Out of Bill Maher After Obama Comments (Audio)

2012-07-09T18:22:00.003-07:00

Wayne Brady Takes the Lead

The HBO host compared the president to the comedian while questioning both men's black identity.

Controversies over who’s black and who’s not suddenly have become an odd undercurrent along the Democratic fringes of this presidential election campaign.
First, Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman insisted in a radio interview that Barack Obama is not America’s first black president, since his late mother was a Caucasian. Obama always has identified himself as African-American, and contemporary genetic studies have shown that few black Americans are of unmixed African heritage. Freeman’s own credentials in matters of racial identity presumably are unassailable, since he played a runaway slave turned heroic Civil War soldier in Glory and has a beautiful baritone voice.
VIDEO: Bill Maher Asks Joe Biden to Make More 'Gaffes' After Gay Marriage Comments
Now, the usually affable comedian and Let's Make a Deal game show personality Wayne Brady has delivered an obscenity-laced tirade against HBO talk show host Bill Maher, who has referred to Obama’s alleged lack of recognizable black cultural characteristics by describing the president repeatedly as "your Wayne Brady."
Brady recently told interviewer Aisha Tyler, who hosts a podcast called Girl on Guy, that Maher’s characterization was intended as "a diss to Obama to be called me because (Maher) wants a brother-brother."
Brady went on to attack Maher for an alleged predilection for the company of African American prostitutes: "Just because you f--k black hookers," Brady said, "just because you had that particular black experience… I have to stop myself to getting into it because I realize the thing is if I had gone on his show, or even doing it online, I'm not going to win. Because as soon as you back off, he still has his platform to say whatever he wants to."
The 40-year-old Brady also took offense to Maher’s denigration of his black identity, declaring that if the HBO host and Democratic campaign donor wants to "know how black Wayne Brady is," he would "gladly slap the sh-t out of Bill Maher in front of Coco and Ebony and Fox, the three ladies of the night he has hired."
(Maher, thus far, has remained silent.)

R. Kelly blames 'The Notebook' for his divorce

2012-07-07T08:20:00.002-07:00

R. Kelly Cites 'The Notebook' As A Reason For His Divorce Posted 7/5/12 11:13 am EST by MTV News in Music News "The Notebook" has become a phenomenon since its 2004 release, but who would've ever thought that the tearjerker film could be named as a deciding factor in a divorce? Well, according to R. Kelly's "Soulacoaster" memoir, it was. There are a lot of telltale signs that your marriage might be headed for the cliffs: you stop having fun together, all you do is argue, separate beds, smashed dinnerware. But because he's a singular individual who always does things in ways nobody else could even dream of, R. Kelly has revealed that the catalyst behind his divorce from wife and former back up dancer Andrea Kelly was Ryan Gosling. No, the star of VH1's new reality series "Hollywood Exes" didn't step out on Kelly with the hunky big screen star. In fact, it was Kells himself who decided to pull the plug after an emotional few hours with the "Drive" actor. Pay attention now. According to Kelly's new memoir, the awesomely titled "Soulacoaster, The Diary of Me," the singer says Andrea was never on board with putting her dance career on hold to be a stay-at-home mom. The couple wed in 1996 and had three children together before divorcing in 2009 after 12 years of marriage and weathering the storm of Kelly's trial for child pornography?. But after too many fights to count — including one in which Mrs. Kelly chucked her $50,000 wedding ring into a pond in the couple's backyard — Kelly had an epiphany after watching the 2004 Gosling weeper "The Notebook."

The cheesetastic adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel about a young 1940's couple who fall madly in love, only to be torn apart by her disapproving parents. Despite her engagement to another man, their true love prevails and, well, we don't wan to spoil it, but let's say tears will be shed. Just ask Kelly, who writes that the story of true love waiting got him so emotional that, "as the film credits started to roll, I couldn't move. I burst into tears. People walking past me patted me on the back, trying to console me. 'The Notebook' was beautiful, and I was crying because its hero and heroine had died together. But I was also crying because I remembered a Valentine's Day -- when a helicopter dropped a rainfall of roses -- that had come and gone ... My marriage had died. And there was nothing I could do to bring it back." Tags R. Kelly

Former Raiders DE Smith faces 3 new murder charges

2012-07-06T14:48:00.000-07:00

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Anthony Wayne Smith spent seven years as a menacing defensive end for the Oakland and Los Angeles Raiders whose mission was to put quarterbacks on the turf. Authorities believe that penchant for a game of violence turned into something more sinister shortly after Smith departed professional football. Already awaiting retrial for a murder four years ago, Smith was charged this week with three additional murders, including the slayings of two brothers who prosecutors said were kidnapped and robbed by men posing as police officers. The most recent charges paint a portrait of a man who authorities say turned to brazen crime, but leaves the question of why he needed to after a somewhat successful career. Smith, now 45, was drafted 11th overall by the Raiders in 1990 and amassed 57 1/2 sacks and 190 tackles while as a defensive end in the NFL. In 1993, Smith had 12 1/2 sacks, helping put the Raiders in the playoffs. The team lost in the AFC divisional round to Buffalo 29-23. Smith retired in 1998 and according to authorities took part in the murders of Kevin and Ricky Nettles in November 1999. The siblings were kidnapped from a car wash in Los Angeles by two men posing as police officers, and they were later found shot to death, said Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. The victims' bodies were dumped about eight miles apart from one another. Smith also was charged in the June 2001 killing of Dennis Henderson, who, along with another man, was kidnapped in Los Angeles by several gunmen, Gibbons said. The victims were put in separate cars, and while the other man was let go, Henderson's body was found in a rental car. Authorities said Henderson was beaten and stabbed to death. Los Angeles police detectives began working on the trio of old murders in April 2011. Several search warrants were served and witnesses were interviewed, said police Cmdr. Andrew Smith. Investigators wouldn't say if Smith knew the Nettles brothers but said the former NFL player lived next door to Henderson's brother. "We believe these were robberies, but we don't know the motive behind them," said Smith, who has no relation to the suspect. A phone message left for defense attorney Michael Evans was not immediately returned Friday. In a court filing, prosecutors said all three victims were tortured. Smith also faces three counts of kidnapping, and along with special circumstances, is eligible for the death penalty. Prosecutors will make a decision on whether to seek capital punishment at a later date. Meanwhile, Smith is jailed awaiting retrial on a murder charge in the 2008 killing of Maurilio Ponce. A jury failed to reach a verdict in April, splitting 8-4 in favor of guilt. Prosecutors contend Smith lured Ponce to an Antelope Valley desert highway where the mechanic was beaten, stomped and shot over a business deal gone wrong. Evans argued at trial that there was no physical evidence linking his client to the crime and Smith had no reason to kill Ponce. Smith will be retried with a co-defendant. A third man, Eric Honest, was convicted of second-degree murder in April and is awaiting sentencing. Smith's next court date is July 17. Associated Press Copyright 2012 The Associated Press. Accountant Swindles Rihanna Out Of Millions!

2012-07-06T00:13:00.000-07:00

Rihanna sues ex-accountants for millions in losses July 5, 2012, 5:10 PM EST NEW YORK (AP) — Rihanna sued her former accountants Thursday, blaming them for tens of millions of dollars in losses, shoddy bookkeeping, a failure to recommend she trim expenses when a 2009 tour was losing money and an ongoing audit by the Internal Revenue Service. The lawsuit in federal court in Manhattan sought unspecified damages against New York-based Berdon LLP and two accountants. A Berdon spokeswoman said the company had no immediate comment. Bing music: Rihanna The singer, suing under her real name, Robyn Fenty, alleged through her attorneys that the defendants drained tens of millions of dollars from revenues while she launched four national and international tours over a five-year period. By the "Last Girl on Earth" tour in 2009, Rihanna learned that the tour had managed "significant net losses" despite robust revenues, though the defendants had managed to pocket 22 percent of the tour's total revenues while paying Rihanna just 6 percent of revenues, the lawsuit said. It said Berdon's unusual accounting practice of paying itself a percentage of gross tour income as commissions left it no incentive to "counsel" Rihanna to reduce expenses or put in place appropriate financial controls. The lawsuit alleged that the practice of paying itself commissions on revenues was not standard in the accounting and business management industry and created a clear conflict of interest. Rihanna's lawyers also blamed the accounting firm for an ongoing IRS audit of her tax returns, saying she was forced to spend significant resources to correct errors resulting from negligence. Since firing the firm and its accountants in September 2010, Rihanna's fortunes already have reversed, the lawsuit said. The "Loud" tour stretching from June 2011 to December 2011 produced a net profit equal to more than 40 percent of total tour revenues, it added. According to the lawsuit, the singer hired the accountants in 2005 when she was a 16-year-old from Barbados launching her career. She alleged that they repeatedly breached their agreements, engaged in misconduct and malfeasance, paid themselves excessive commissions, created entities without regard to their effect on her taxes and failed to document revenue and expenses and implement a proper budget. The lawsuit also blamed the company for Rihanna's 2009 purchase of a new home, saying competent business managers would have told her that her tour was losing money and that it would not be advisable to buy such an expensive home at that time. Last year, Rihanna sued a real estate company in Los Angeles over the $6.9 million purchase of a hillside home in 2009, saying it had serious structural defects that made it inhabitable.
