Well... I haven't posted in a while. Due to the fact that I made major changes and important decisions in the last two years and because I wanted a fresh new start I created a new blog : http://royalallure.blogspot.co.uk/

Lauren Bacall

2011-01-31T14:03:00.024+02:00

Lauren Bacall, actress and model. She hasn't been only an angelic doll face, but she also has been an able-minded woman.

You can notice it in some of her quotes:

"You can't start worrying about what's going to happen. You get spastic enough worrying about what's happening now";
"Imagination is the highest kite one can fly";
"I am not a has-been. I am a will be.";
"I think your whole life shows in your face and you should be proud of that.";
"I wish Frank Sinatra would just shut up and sing";
"Stardom isn't a profession; it's an accident.”;
"It's inappropriate and vulgar and absolutely unacceptable to use your private life to sell anything commercially, but I think it's kind of a sickness.”
“I have a built-in antenna.”

... and in all her movies, especially in glorious ones as The Mirror Has Two Faces, Prêt-à-Porter: Ready to Wear, The Shootist and Designing Woman.

Welcome Back Cold Winter! Hello Again Magic December!

I can't wait for the holidays! Nothing compares to the magical Christmas atmosphere! I think that December is the most wonderful month of the year! Everything is full of presents, joy and kindness.

... and - of course - for the ladies it's a plausible reason to make new purchases.

Yesterday when I was searching for something on my computer I found this photo and I wondered: "Where did I get this photo of this lovely pair of sunglasses?". Of course I couldn't remember! I really want these sunnies. Do you know where can I get them?

Hello there!

2010-10-23T20:48:00.022+03:00

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I have been to Vienna. I had so much fun (especially in the Prater Park), I visited marvellous museums and amazing places, did a lot of shopping and drunk from the cup of viennese life. Here are a few random photos from my trip.

Fred Astaire

2010-10-07T18:37:00.003+03:00

Timeless like a broken watch and make money like Fred Astaire...

Fred Astaire, one of the greatest dancers of all time.

My favourite Fred Astaire quotes:

Chance is the fool's name for Fate.
The hardest job kids face today is learning good manners without seeing any.
The higher up you go, the more mistakes you are allowed. Right at the top, if you make enough of them, it's considered to be your style.

I WANT THIS CAPE!!! part III

2010-10-06T16:52:00.008+03:00

I WANT THIS Marseilles Twist CAPE sooo bad! History is repeating itself... again.

I should stop wishing capes!
