Needless to say, that both models are 4g capable, the latter as contradictory confirmed of the very phone company by sms check...

Now I switched by end of june to the provider Wingo, a swisscom subsidiary, using the very same network. Put the SIM card into one of the q10 beforehand, without much hope.

And: works, shows network, hotspots my thinkpad, whatever. Yes the date of this post is correct.

I recently bought a BlackBerry 9720 to use as a memo device.

Unfortunately, I accidentally removed the Korean language pack from the device. The phone itself works perfectly, but Korean is no longer available under Language and Input.

I have already installed BlackBerry Desktop Software and my PC recognizes the phone, but I cannot restore the Korean language because BlackBerry's official download servers are no longer available.

Does anyone still have a copy of the BlackBerry 9720 AllLang OS file, such as:

9720AllLang_PBr7.1.0_rel2910_PL9.105.0.18_A7.1.0.1 083_O2_UK.exe

or any other 9720 AllLang OS package that includes Korean?

I would really appreciate any help or mirrors.

I recently bought a BB Q10 SQN100-3, because there are still remnants of the previous owners data on it I should like to carry out a full factory wipe.
Because BB Protect is still active I can't use the usual "settings/security & privacy/ factory reset" path because it asks for the BB ID password. I have e-mailed the previous owner but have not received a reply.
There was a previous thread on this forum raised by someone who had the exact same problem as I, but as I understand it he was left with a phone that still asked for a BB ID after the wipe.
I have tried to put an updated OS onto it, the current one is 10-3-2-2836,but the auto loader sticks at "contacting bootrom" probably because BB Protect is still active.
My approach was going to be..... put a password on the opening screen and then deliberately input the incorrect password more than 10 times, this I believe should trigger a factory wipe.
To the question, what do I do next? By all accounts I will be in the same position as the other guy i.e. unable to continue without a BB ID and unable to hear the "voice" telling me when to "skip"

Can anybody help please?
