      <title>Leon Thomas - Cc Rider</title>
<description>Album : Blues And The Soulful Truth (1972) Amos Leon Thomas Jr (October 4, 1937 -- May 8, 1999) was an American avant garde jazz singer from East St. Louis, Illinois. Thomas studied music at Tennessee State University. In the 1960s he was a vocalist for Count Basie and others. In 1969, he released his first solo album for the prestigious Flying Dutchman label. However he made an earlier album which is still unreleased even now. He was largely forgotten until a resurgence of interest in soul jazz. Several of his tracks have been sampled in hip-hop and downtempo records. He changed his name to Leone in 1974 because of an interest he had in numerology at the time. He did not legally change his name and he reverted back to Leon shortly thereafter. Thomas is best known for his work with Pharoah Sanders, particularly the 1969 song "The Creator Has a Master Plan" from Sanders' Karma album. Thomas's most distinctive device was that he often broke out into yodeling in the middle of a vocal. This style has influenced singers James Moody, Tim Buckley and Bobby McFerrin, among others. He said in an interview that he developed this style after he fell and broke his teeth before an important show. Thomas toured and recorded as a member of the band Santana in 1973.[1] Thomas died of heart failure on May 8, 1999.

      <title>Conditional Probability Using a Table</title>
<description>This is how to compute conditional probability (the probability of A given B) using information from a table. This was created for students taking MATH 1011, Learning Support in Math, at East Tennessee State University, and goes with competency unit 5. It was made using Cam Studio (free screen capture software), PowerPoint, and a Bamboo Tablet. I don't have any video editing software, so unfortunately I wasn't able to edit out any times when I misspoke. (I did correct them, though.)

      <title>Losing Our Sons Trailer HD</title>
<description>A searing true story from America's heartland, Losing Our Sons tells of two American families whose lives intersected through a shattering act of violence. Melvin Bledsoe, a small business owner in Memphis, watched with pride as his son Carlos went to Tennessee State University in Nashville to better his life. Daris Long, an ex-Marine, felt honored that his son, Andy, chose to follow in his footsteps by joining the military. But when Carlos Bledsoe murdered Andy Long in Little Rock, Arkansas, both fathers had to face a new kind of American nightmare. As Melvin followed the trail that led Carlos from Nashville to Yemen and then to Little Rock, Daris confronted an American government that seemed in denial about what happened to his son. This powerful documentary provides a moment of clarity for Americans who care about their country's future.
