It’s been a hot minute since I’ve updated this website. This site, has in fact, been down for the better part of a couple of years, I think. I can’t remember when I finally took it down, but it was a mess. I’ve had this website for over two decades now, and it showed. Somehow, bugs started crawling into the cracks and crevices of the old place and before long it was just one big spam infested mess. It was just better to nuke the entire thing from orbit than keep it going the way it did.

On some weird level, I thought I could save the website. I’m not sure if it was really useful hanging on to fifteen year old posts, or even earlier to a time when I thought I’d be *edgy*. I will definitely miss the Sims website I had carefully curated that showcased my hundreds of hours of builds and legacy stories. Nah, it all had to go. Of course I’ve backed it up before I nuked it, but I’m not gonna lie, it was hard hitting that delete button. (Quite literally, some files were just so messed up, they refused to be moved).

Spring cleaning can be a good thing though. As much as I fretted about saving old blogs, I know maybe they’re on the internet somewhere still, and honestly I’m not missing them after all. After all, it’s a good excuse to start again.

And I do have a lot to talk about, but that will be a later story.
