Oregon Park West is a community park that offers a wide variety of activities. Concerts in the Park, Easter egg hunt, Bicycle rally and High School sports are just a few of the events that take place at Park West every year. The park is surrounded with a bike trail that wanders through prairie, pines, and oaks on the north end and athletic fields on the south. New River Model Railroad Museum

Diesel & steam locomotives run on a double main line through the elaborate & highly detailed model railroad landscape which includes mountains, tunnels, villages & industrial areas replicating the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad in West Virginia in the 1950's. The layout is over 36'x30' and is in H.O. scale. We have 50 engines and over 500 cars, 2 large turntables to turn our steam engines around in our staging yards. Open to the public: Saturday & Sunday from 1-6 pm. June - July - August thru Labor Day. A portion of the admission will be donated to FEED THE CHILDREN. Bus tours, group or private tours are welcome by appoinment. Bring the family, load up the camera and enjoy trains of the past.
