Holika Holika Heart Full Glossy Lipstick in PK124 Smoky Pink

Holika Holika (Korean brand) Heart Full Glossy Lipstick come in currently 7 shades from what I know.
Tiny they are but still come with a 3.5g of product, they are smaller in size even to Etude House lipsticks which to me are sort of relatively small in my opinion (I have a comparison picture as you scroll down).
The lipsticks are housed in tin like casing and are very lightweight but feel of superior quality and plus way too cute design with attention to outer packaging as well as the actual heart shaped bullet.

Smoky Pink- Is a pale smoky mauve toned pink, very slight silvery micro iridescent sparkles to it. Applies semi-sheer with easy builadable pigmentation.

I find the texture to be lightweight, silky and lightly balmy with a subtle fresh fruit scent. To me it isn't the most glossiest lipstick in the world but it does have a powerful sheen. Lasting power is hardly up to an hour but this wears off evenly and you're left with smooth lips.

RRP is around £5.45 and is truly a gorgeous addition to any lipstick collection.

B. Precise Gel Eyeliner 24hr Wear in 100 Black

B. Is a fairly new range of makeup and skincare at Superdrug (Larger stores and online).

B. Precise Gel Eyeliner comes in just 2 shades the other one being a brown. The liner is housed in a small glass jar with a grey plastic lid and eyeliner brush. I think the jar opening is quite narrow compared to the other gel liners I have. I much prefer this style of gel liner compared to the all -in-ones that have the secret brush slotted on top of the lid. As for the free brush, it is of a descent quality but I find it too narrow at the tip for my liking. I'll imagine I could quickly get used it as I use it more.

100 Black- Is a black black but it has a very matte finish which in my opinion is rare in a gel liner as they have a sort of a lacquered finish (I prefer a lacquered finish). Despite this the texture doesn't feel 'matte' at all and is extremely creamy and glides on the skin. While I cannot comment on the 24hr wear, It does indeed 'wear' very well. This eyeliner lasted all day without a smear till I removed my makeup.

Collection Bedazzled (Glitter) Palette

Collection (Formerly 'Collection 2000' I Still can't stop saying the '2000' part) have named this the 'Special Glitter Edition' all nine shades are meant to be loaded with glitter. While the majority of them are packed with chunky glitters there are a few with it just being a little overlay to reveal an average frosty eyeshadow. Each of the shadows are the size of a 1 penny coin.

There are of course some shades that absolute duds that need more work to build up pigmentation. Generally a lot of good pigmented colours in there and it seems to be going slightly in order with my swatches on how pigmented they are.

As for the glitter it's quite chunky and surprisingly not as gritty in texture as I immediately thought. However you will need quite a creamy base for the glitters to adhere, as they will just leave you lids and cause fall out.
(As you can see when you scroll down I didn't use any base for my swatches)

George Satin Soft Eye Pencil in 06 Bewitched

George have labelled this as just a 'pencil' which could be misleading to some as this a twist up 'mechanical pencil' although once you've picked it up you'll probably know this anyway from the feel.

George Satin Soft Eye Pencil comes in plain shiny black plastic packaging with a different coloured bottom tip which reflects the colour of the shade you are buying. I think all pencils should have something like this as it's easy to just grab the colour you want without fiddling around especially if you store all your pencils in a jar. The eye liner is quite short in size and has a sharpener located where on coloured end for sharpening the tip.

Bewitched- A medium lavender pink which has a slight pearl to it. I find the texture not really that creamy but not stiff either and applies nicely without it feeling like it's going to snap. As for the pigmentation it's probably average but the colour is even and can be easily built up depending how lightly you apply it. For the wear it lasted all day for me so I cannot complain.

Barbara Daly Satin Swirl Eyes Eyeshadow in Sequins

Barbara Daly Satin Swirl Eyes come in a variety of 10 shades and I wouldn't say they are a satin finish, although they have subtle shimmer they have very a shiny reflective finish some are as you could say metallic.

I can't believe the intensity of just one swipe of this shadow you have a full pigment swatch and the texture is so light it doesn't even feel like you have eyeshadow on you, just silky skin. I find that when I swivel my brush in the pan there is no loose shadow dust or any fall out whatsoever.

As for wear I can't speak for this as without a doubt a wear eyeshadow primer, but with this it lasts till I remove it before I go to bed.

Sequin- A coppery warm pearly brown

If you're looking for a nice pigmented eyeshadow with a comfortable feel and brilliant texture, I'd look no further. I know for sure that I won't hesitate to pick up a few more shades.
I would on the other hand like to some bold brights in this line and maybe some neon or outrageous shades but I think this would be highly unlikely.

RRP is £8.00 which is quite expensive considering Barbara Daly is a Tesco own brand, although I think they are going down the same line with look and prices as Boots No7.

Do look out for offers, Tesco usually have 3 for 2 on Barbara Daly makeup.

ELF Mineral Lipsticks come in a variety of shades but all in easy to wear colours, sadly none are outrageous looking from what I can see.

Mineral lipsticks are 100% All-Natural Ingredients, Paraben Free, No Preservatives (There must be because wouldn't it go bad?) and No Chemical Dyes. The lipsticks also contains a blend Exotic Oils, Vitamins, Plant Extracts and Natural Waxes.

Runway Pink- A Pink that's not really a 'Pink' if that makes sense...no I don't think it does. A Pink on the Runway? Hmm nope maybe this is what Pink looks like running away because it's more like a nude mannequin looking peachy based lipstick with the tiniest of pink. The colour applies a lot lighter on the lips than what it looks like in the tube and for the finish it's a opaque cream near matte looking lips that do not look or feel dry, although if you do happen to have already dry unconditioned lips that day with this type of colour it will exaggerate them.

I find that it glides on application with a even finish that has a comfortable moisturising feel. No scent or taste. However it doesn't last long but with this colour and finish it's easy enough to reapply.

Sleek True Colour Lipstick in 783 Mystic

This is for sure a lipstick that I will definitely repurchase and pick up a back up when I can.
I have before purchased another shade which is also matte (review here) from Sleek's True Colour lipstick line and do indeed love it but I think I just love this shade way too much more.

Comes in short oval black casing like all of their lipsticks, has a slight rubbery feel so will probably attract fingerprints quite easily.

Sleek True Colour Lipsticks have two finishes of lipsticks in their range which are Matte and Sheen and contain Vitamin E without any scent or taste.

Mystic (Matte) - A strong bright and powerful purple magenta which is a true matte and opaque.
The formula can be drying as with most matte lipsticks but it's quite light on the lips considering.

I find that this lipstick lasts for hours on me unless I have a meal then it will start to wear off but you're still left with a even layer of pretty magenta stain. Generally I think most matte lipsticks will always last longer.

Sleek Be Beautiful BB Blemish Balm SPF15 in 801 Fair

Already I am a big fan of Korean BB creams and haven't took much notice of the big Western BB cream storm as I know they aren't up to scratch and nothing like Korean creams.. However I did want to try one to see for myself and I picked out this one from Sleek that apparently contains a pale shade ' Fair' in their line.

Sleek Be Beautiful Blemish Balm - Contains SPF15 and lots of other skincare elements that usually Western BB creams skip. Contains the likes of Vitamin C, Red Algae and Peptides and is packaged in a short and stubby matte black tube, exactly like a hand cream tube. It's a 50ml which is the standard size of a BB cream.

The formula is stated on the packaging and is meant to be 'Full Coverage' I say it's not at all and is more of a light to medium coverage. I find the formula to dry quite instantly on the skin and is quite thick in texture and starts to oxide as soon as it hits my face to a orange toned shade..which is even darker than my swatch.
It does have a certain smell which is very slight but i can't put my finger on and it's not meant to be there as it's supposed to be unscented...a hint of paint?

I can't get passed the shade and I'm not keen on the texture.

Overall I don't like it, others may love it.. but if you are used to and love the formula of Korean BB creams you might just hate it.

Primark Glitter Eye Liner- No name, comes in a fancy box and got this half price at 50p. It's a nice solid pigmented liner with a silver base and compacted with glitter, just it has funny smell which reminds me of PVA glue..not really strong but still a little weird.

Xplode Gloss & Shine Lipstick in E84402 - What a name right? Apparently these were made by Wet 'N Wild but there is no mention of the name on the packaging or the company. It's a beautiful semi-sheer glossy pink red. Glides on and isn't patchy. Kind of smells a little papery and doesn't last long. At 99p I can't complain and there's many bright and bold shades to choose from here

Xplode Lipliner Pencil in E84601 - A deep red cherry pink, that's bursting with pigmentation. This liner melts into your lips giving even you high even colour without drying the lips out, you could easily get away with using this as a lip colour as it really does look juicy without being crepey dry. 75p a total bargain and it's way longer than the average lip pencil from here.

Jesse's Girl Kohl Formula Lipliner in Hotlanta- A gorgeous hot pink with tiny pieces of red glitter. As with their eyeliner pencils their formula is pigmented and creamy. At 75p here you can't go wrong.

Jesse's Girl Kohl Formula Eyeliner Pencils

Jesse's Girl is a budget makeup line in the USA. I luckily came across these pencils on Cosmetics Fairy selling these for just 75p each which is a total bargain.

As you can see they have the same packaging as MUA pencils with the sharpener in the lid but a lot prettier with glitter tipped ends. The only problem is the glitter ends up flaking off the pencils.

You'd think that the glitter ends would reflect the shades but sadly they're not bursting with glitter but saying that you get a lovely quality pencil that's creamy, pigmented, longlasting and most of all at a cheap price. There's pretty shades to be had that aren't at all boring.
They retail at $1.99 on the official website which is about £1.31.

Constance Carroll Natural Glow in 1 Rose Glow

Constance Carroll is a budget UK makeup brand. Never really seen in chain stores but always at open markets, fairs and car boot sales. I remember going through a ton of their black liquid eyeliner as a early teen and always loved it.

I came across a bunch of Constance Carroll products at Cosmetics Fairy for £2.25. To my surprise this big compact caught my eye, I have never seen this before and of course I love highlighters!

The pressed powder is described as a 'Soft powder for all over radiance. Sweep over face and neck for a gorgeous glow'.

Now for certain this product does not contain any 'Glow' it's completely matte and I find that strange for something marketed as 'Glow'. It's the palest pink colour you're going to get and the swatch almost didn't show up for me if it wasn't for my neutral near yellow undertones (I had to really apply heavily for swatch to show up). Since there is no sort of glow and being the colour it is, it probably isn't a worthy purchase for us with a pale skintone. However I have found a use for it and that is to tame down overdone blush and of course using this sparingly as a face powder. The product has a nice smooth texture although when you swirl a brush you will get quite a messy pan with fallout.

I would really love to this one on darker skintones and I believe it would do more of it's purpose on being a highlighter. It's a huge compact with 20g worth of product.

Vaseline Healthy Hands + Stronger Nails Hand Cream

Vaseline has quite a vast range of products and not just their petroleum jelly which comes to mind.

Healthy Hands + Stronger Nails Hand Cream - With Keratin + Stratys and multi-layer moisture. Vaseline claims a non-greasy fast absorbing formula which softens hands and strengthens nails by 50%

As for calling it a 'Hand Cream' I find it too thin for the 'Cream' title it's more of a lotion. I find that it's very fast-absorbing and non greasy. I don't know if it's the tube or the thin consistency but quite often you'll squeeze out more than you need which can be problem as you will obviously waste product.

For moisturisation and softening hands I think it's great for a quick fix for on the go, but not for deep hydration. I can also add that I haven't noticed any improvement to my nails.

There's a very light scent to it which is floral fruity type which to me smells a little cheap, it's not that of a big deal but there you go.

A quick pick me up for your handbag but I wouldn't expect miracles. RRP £3.41

Love Hearts Pucker Up Lip Gloss Collection - Received at Xmas from my son (late posting I know!) I actually thought they'd be clear sweet scented balm type glosses but to my surprise they actually aren't. These are very pigmented wearable glosses in a variety of shades, finishes and colours. However they don't actually smell like the Love Heart sweets but they do smell very sweet indeed!

Bomb Cosmetics Raspberry Supreme Handmade Soap With Essential Oils- Unlike Lush this brand doesn't really get talked about that often, but seriously does this soap smell nice! I haven't brought myself to use it yet but it looks very promising. Have a look at the website they have quite a wide amount of bath treats which look as appealing as a sweet shop.

L'Oreal Color Riche Shine Gelee in 101 Shiny Grapefruit- A rediscovered product from my stash that I'm loving a lot but sadly it's one that is discontinued. However it's not hard to snag one round the web at cheap prices. These Shiny Gelees remind me much like all the lip butters they currently have on the market now.
Shiny Grapefruit is a pigmented glossy mauve rose pink with tiny shimmers. I find this lipstick very hydrating and feels great on the lips considering it's enriched with Royal Jelly.

Accessorize You Are Everything 32 Shade Eye Palette

There are two versions of this 32 shades palette from Accessorize the one I have 'You Are Everything' contains more variety and type rainbow shades compared to the 'Lovely Day' which is more for neutral lovers. 'You Are Everything' still has some neutrals thrown in.

Packaging- Comes in a cardboard flip style with hidden magnetic closure, it also has a elastic fabric band for extra security. Inside you will find a descent sized mirror, all 32 shadows and there happens to be no applicators. The pans are quite small about the size of a 1 penny coin but I have seen smaller pans and they've used all the space for shadows.

From mattes, shimmers to frosty metallics the palette contains a variety of finishes as well as hues. Most have a extremely good colour payoff but there happens to be a few duds. For example the mauve colour on the bottom has very poor pigment and seems to be hard work to pick up any product. However the black shade is unbelievably jet black and full of pigment, the frosty metallic shades too are bursting with pigment and blend with ease. All have a smooth texture but some are buttery than others. With use I'm sure the ones that aren't so good will improve with use, it's happened to me many times. Thankfully there are more good than bad.

Longevity could vary but these hold up the day on me as I don't wear any shadow without primer.

Overall it's a lovely palette and there's plenty of play to be had!

Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick in 020 Baby Pink - A pale pink with light frosty shimmers. This instantly reminded me of Revlon Lip Butter in 055 Cupcake but it's deeper and more blue based. (Comparison swatch pictures at the bottom).

Apparently ColorBurst Lipsticks are set to be discontinued, I remember when they just come out! However since the birth of their Lip Butter and Just Bitten Kissable chunky pencils other lip products in their line are begged to be neglected.

Claims-
"-Instant burst of rich, true colour with a featherlight feel.
-Elasticolor™ technology provides immediate colour release and hugs lips with a burst of weightless colour that feels like a second skin"

Baby Pink doesn't have rich colour but the colour is buildable and it's not weightless I feel like I have lipstick on my lips. The lipstick texture glides on with ease and you think it will be moisturising but it isn't really that great and can be drying for some. If you're suffering with dry lips, Baby Pink can make them look worse as it can gather in the dry patches and make you look dehydrated. Longevity is around an hour but if I drink or eat it will vanish.

Overall lovely colour and finish but the formula isn't outstanding.

No scent or taste.

Baviphat Peach All-In-One Waterfull Cream

Baviphat is a popular beauty line in Korea and has a big range from skincare to makeup.

Peach All-In-One Waterfull Cream is packed with Vitamin C that helps whiten/brighten the skin. It also claims to minimises pores, deeply moisturises and with Beta-Glucan gives the skin elasticity.

The packaging as you can see resembles a big peach, it's all thick plastic with a screw top lid like most face creams. As you open the jar you will see a white plastic lip covering which houses a tiny spoon. I'm not sure if this is a novelty, applying the accurate amount or for hygiene purposes but believe me if you're not careful you will lose this spoon in this gel like cream.

Anyhow the texture is very different to what I've experienced from a average Western face cream it's a very light gel and blends into the skin like water, this reminds me very much like a gel hand sanitiser without obviously the alcohol feeling. You will need a very small amount for the whole face because if you don't it can start feeling a bit sticky and it will not be a good base for makeup as I've experienced this to make my face makeup flake as I was applying it. Once you apply it right and not too generous it sinks in straight away and you won't have those problems.

The smell is just amazing and you can smell this as soon as you unscrew the jar, it smells of real fresh peaches or like peach sorbet. I instantly feel refreshed when I put this on and gives the skin a light cooling sensation like splashing water on your face.

I haven't noticed much of a difference to my skin other then it looking and feeling more hydrated. Hopefully with continued use I shall see my pale skin to have more of a glowing kick. As for pores mine are quite small to begin with but fingers crossed this shall help them stay that way.

Kelly Brook Natural Eyes Eye Shadow Palette

Kelly Brook Natural Eyes Eye Shadow palette is exclusively available at New Look stores. There isn't much of her makeup line on the website and I'm unsure if this will change.

Packaging that encases the four shadows isn't the best in her line which feels quite light and flimsy. It has a clear thin plastic lid and houses a double ended applicator (sponge and brush) the brush side is very stiff and I wouldn't really bother using it as it really wouldn't pick up the shadow very well.

The eyeshadows which are 'Natural' colours like the name which I think would suit the most of us. As you can see from the pictures, 3 out of 4 have teeny micro-glitter while the last chocolatey brown is pearl based. However the micro-glitter is very subtle and not harsh at all and the amount is very much the same as the blusher I previously reviewed.

For the texture is very smooth and easily to blend. It isn't generously pigmented but very buildable. You will get quite a bit of loose powder once you dip your applicator in there but for the most part it's easy to use and the results will suit any look.

I won't use a eyeshadow without a primer so with a primer for me the eyeshadows stay the day. :)

Korean brand Tony Moly Dear Me Cotton Petite BB cream is an item that will easily fit in any makeup bag or handbag. As for being called 'Petite' this is as big as it comes in 30g of product.

The tube isn't really small in length but it's very flat so it's easy to store, like with most smaller sized Korean BB creams it's a squeezy tube with a small nib, bigger ones usually have a pump.

Properties they claim- Makes your skin baby soft as it adheres lightly to skin giving you a flawless finish without any oily residue and of course SPF30.

Not really much properties for a BB cream like whitening and anti-ageing but still it's simple and it's really cheap to buy too. You can buy this for under a £5.00 including postage and packing on Ebay.

This BB cream makes my skin feel soft but without feeling greasy but while this is the lightest shade it comes in the colour is still a little too dark for me but once blended and finished with my favourite StarGazer pressed powder in white, you can't notice at all. I find the texture quite thick but a little goes a long way and blends to your skin with ease. You can achieve a light to full medium coverage which is nicely dewy. :)

As for the scent I like it! It smells very light...the cotton fresh sort.

I like it but I would prefer a BB cream with more advantages like anti-ageing and whitening but overall a really nice BB cream which doesn't break the bank.

I received this as a Christmas present. I know it's now sold out at Boots online, seriously I think most of their Xmas gifts went half price on Christmas day and as you can imagine most is sold out. I can say I have no idea about how much is left in stores.

As you know I love glitter and couldn't wait to do a review on this!

Fearne Shimmering Eyes Set- Contains the following
*4 x Eye Shimmers and Glitters (Two are glitters and the other two are shimmery eyeshadows)
*1 x Applicator (Sponge tipped as I think a brush would make the glitter flick everywhere)
*1 x Eye Shadow Base Stick

I can say that I think the set is really good and I especially love loose glitters to play around with. There are two shimmery eyeshadows that are very nice and pigmented the first is a burnt copper and the other is a deep blackened blue silvery grey. As for the loose glitters, the particles are just as chunky as a standard glitter eyeliner, the first is a sparkling gold and the other is multi-coloured with a silver base almost holographic!

As for the base it really doesn't do the job. I find that it applies nicely and smoothly but there isn't enough stickiness for the glitters to adhere too. It dries too quickly and the finish is almost a powder eyeshadow feel. Another problem with it as it's the wrong colour for a base, a tan champagne colour (you can see it looking murky on the silver in my swatch). I think a pearly transparent white kohl would've done the trick or actually I think NYX jumbo pencils would have just the right texture. I would use this under a pigmented white kohl pencil or NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk.

Overall a lovely set for glitter lovers everywhere but just don't expect the 'base' to be a base.
