Woe, Lo, and Go

In the book of Isiah in the sixth chapter verses 5-9, we are confronted with three messages. The first of which is Woe. This is the point we must all come too. Woe is me for I am unclean; I am a man of unclean lips and live among people with unclean lips. We must come to the place of being undone. This is the place of repentance.
The second message of this passage of Scripture is, Lo. Lo the Lord will make you clean and burn away all chaff from your life. The Charabimused a live coal to burn Isiah's lips to purefy them. The process of purefication is painful, but necisaryfor a strong Christian life and witness.
Thirdly, we read in verse nine a command of commition. Go. Christianity is an action word. We must tell of our own experiences with The Lord to incourage others to have an incounter with the Living Christ.
So, a recap of the three messages is, Woe, I am unclean, Lo The Lord will cleanse you with fire, and Go to the nations and preach and live the Gospel message.

5 Types of Christians

The first type of Christian has discovered somehow that he is a sinner and has discovered that there is a Hell. He is not to keen on going there, so he says a prayer and becomes a Christian for fire insurance.
The second type of Christian is a utalitarian Christian. He prays for something and recieves it, or he prays to get out of a difficult situation and he is delivered. He thinks this prayer thing works pretty good so he becomes a Christian.
The third type of Christian is a status Christian. He gets involved in a church where he is respected and he just loves the fellowship with believers. When he gives his testimony he only focuses on how nice the people are and how wonderful the fellowship.
The fourth type is within the third. He is seeking power and recognition. He is devicive in his methods. He seeks to find fault with the Pastor and attempts to devide the church.
The fifth type of Christian has seen the Almighty God in His Power. He has experienced the forgiveness of his sins. He has felt the love and compassion of Christ Jesus, and his only passion is to glorify the Lord Jesus. His hands, feet and mouth are controled by Christ for he has commited his entire being to glorify the Lord. This fifth type of Christian, my friends, is the Church. They know the love; live with the power of the Holy Spirit within them, and there love for Jesus drives them to evangelise so that the Lamb of God can recieve His Reward for His suffering and death on the cross for our sakes.
Which type of Christian are you my friend? Please come to repentance and know the love of the Father, and live the power that is granted you by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Be Blessed dear readers.

Confidence In Deliverance

Confidence in deliverance from an existing giant is created from past deliverances as stated by David in 1 Sam 17: 37. God had delivered David from the paws of a lion and the paws of a bear while tending his father's sheep. Therefore, he was confident in God's ability, and willingness to deliver him from the hands of Golieth the Giant. If you are facing a giant of great proportions that you don't feel you can conqer, look to the Deliverer God. He has saved you in the past so draw on that fact to bring you confidince to face the existing giant. Spiritual Photosynthesis notes from Pastor Jeff Able

Isiah 53: 1-2.
In this passage of Scripture, Jesus is compared to a plant. I would like to carry this comparasina little farther.
In science class we learned that photosynthesis takes place when a plant takes that which is toxic to humans, Carban Dyoxide, in and gives out oxigine which is imparative to human life.
Jesus, took sin which is toxic to a human's spiritual life, and gave us mercy and grace and forgiveness, which is imparative to human life.
Now that we have freely recieved the gift of forgiveness, mercy, and grace; we should freely give the same to all.
This is found in Mat 10: 7.
If you have not yet accepted the free gift of eternal life by asking Jesus Christ to reside in your heart, why not do that now. Bow your head and repeat these words aloud.
Jesus, I believed You died for me so that I may live with You eternally. Thank You for an other chance. Help me to live only for You from this day forward. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen

Vision by Steven Walle

Vision is that which a congregation or organization percievs, by the Holy Spirit, as pertaining to God's perpose for them, thereby creating spiritual momentum, resulting in spiritual advancement, maintained through spiritual warfare.
Let's break this definition down a bit.
You must know the leader's vision for the organization you are involved with, in order to realize your function within that vision. For my business the vision is "Advancing the Kingdom of God, by faith with joy and love." Now in that vision statement there are many functions. One might be our street ministry; one may be the advertising of AC. In any case we must not confuze vision statement with Mission statement.
When you find your place and function in this vision, you will experience spiritual advancement. When this happens your organization or congregation takes on a life of it's own. I becomes it's own entity. This is achieved when you give the reigns over to God as Dawn Hills stated today on our Mindset call.
This spiritual advancement is maintained through spiritual warfare. When you obtain a new level in the Spirit, there is a new devil to try to hinder your advancement. To combat this you must engage in spiritual warfare through Prayer, praise, witnessing, and fellowship with like-minded believers. I pray that you are blessed and continue to advance the Kingdom by faith with joy and love in the business of Advantage Conferences.

Put A Helmet On!

Spiritual warfare is discussed theroly in Eph 6: 10-17. Today let us focus on the Helmet of Salvation. A helmet protects your head in battle. The helmet of Salvation protects the mind. We must guard what goes in our gates, eyes, ears, and thoughts. We must be careful to focus our eyes, ears, and thoughts on things of good report. A good rule of thomb is if you wouldn't let your 3 year old child see or hear the movie or music or music, then you shouldn't be ingaged in watching or listening to them either.
To protect your thought life, you must renew your mind daily with the reading of God's Word. Reading it a loud is a great way to increase your faith as well. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Romans 10: 17.
My prayer for you this day, my friends, is that you prosper mightily in your thought life and thereby prosper in all aspects of your life. In Jesus Name Amen.

Work It Out!

"Work out your salvation with fear and trembling before the Lord."
This verse is found in Phil. 2.
The moddern day preacher seems to leave out a key componant to Christianity, and that is the fear of the Lord. Some teach that (fear) refers to respect, but I feel that fear implys something of a deeper emotion. This can be described as (awe) of His power, might, and His majesty. People don't seem to shake and tremble in the presence of the Lord, or perhapse they have not actually felt His presence. His presence can drop you to the ground. I don't mean on your back as many penticostal believers are struck, but rather on your face in an attitude of worship. I am not d-o-u-b-ting the validity of their experiences; I just believe we must all strive for a deeper worship of Him. We each must be tried by fire of the Lord to burn out all that is not of Him, and I believe that once this is done we may experience this Fear and trembling befor the Lord that the Saints of Old experienced. Dear brothers and Sisters, I encourage you to let the Lord examine your heart and place a Holy Fire in you. This will make your witness for Jesus much more powerful, for when you are on fire people will come to watch you burn.

A Servant's Heart: by Steven Walle

There are three catigories of charictoristics of a servants heart.
1. Transparent humanity,
2. Genuine humility,
3. Absolute honesty.
Transparent Humanity; first Cor 2: 1-3
Paul struggled with his eye sight. Gal 6: 11.
Genuine Humility; first Cor 2: 4-5.
Test of humility;
1. a nondefensive spirit when confronted. This reveals a willingness to be accountable.
Genuine humility operates on a simple phylosophy; Nothing to loose, nothing to prove.
2. An authentic desire to to help others, a sensative spontaneous awareness of needs.
Absolute Honesty; integrity 2 cor 4: 1-2.

Biblical Hope:

I hope so, is an expression of a wish or desire, but in the Bible hope is an indication of certainty. Biblical hope is an attitude of faith in things we are promised for the future. Faith is something we choose to have issue by issue. Faith looks at something God says in the Bible, believes that it is true, and then acts upon this truth. Hope, on the other hand, is a deeper attitude, which grows as faith counts God's Promises true. This hope acts like an ancher to stablize our lives in the present, and give us meaning direction and optomism. Isn't that the kind of hope we need?
Cavah The waiting for hope thereby being strengthened theirin.
Yahah: Hope that gives endurance. An expectant waiting under extreme pressure. Long patient waiting.
Batakh: Hope that inspires trust.
hahsah: Hope that gives refuge. Psalm 104 18, Proverbs 14: 32, Psalm 23: 4.
Sahbar: Hope that looks intently to the promise. Isaiah 38: 18-19, Psalm 119: 166, First John 3: 3, Kolosians 1: 27, Romans 15: 13

Thrive in the broken places:

Most people are afraid of the broken places. What we need to do is ask got to reveal our broken places to us and He will teach us how to thrive in them. Please read Ezekiel 36: 24-28.
In this passage of Scripture, God promises that if you would just give Him your broken places, He will give you a new heart and give you a new spirit. He will cleanse you from all the filthyness of your past and bring you in to your own land to posess. This means that if you just pick up your broken places and offer them to God, He will take them from you and create something new within you. It will hurt, but the gain far out weighs the cost. You will experience many broken places in your Christian, but do not fear them. Realize that each broken place that you go through forms you to be more like Jesus. Praise The Lord! We must never give up. God promises in His word that to the man who perceveres He will give the crown of life. Brothers and sisters, I pray that you grow mightily in the Lord through your brokenness and restoration. Remember what ever you are going through will pass.
James 1: 12, Ecclesiastes 3: 1.

Provision:

A dream or a vision is given by God. God does not give us a dream or vision that is unreachable. When He gives us the vision He also gives us the provision. Money Evil?

People like to state incorrectly that money is the root of all evil. The Holy Bible states, "The love of money is the root of all evil." 1 Timothy 6: 10. It is all in the motavation of the heart that determines wheather is used for good or evil. Money is an inatomate object, therefore it cannot have an evil or good intent. Only the heart of the individual useing the money can determine its' function. I contend that if your heart is right with God, and you have no negative emotions such as greed or pride, you shall prosper in blessed prosperity. I have been recently blessed to be mentored by the founder and President of Advantage Conferences, Tim Darnell, who has been teaching me how to get my priorities in propper alignment with the Word of God. Living The Abundant Life

Jesus said, "The devil has come to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come to give you life and that abundantly." To prosper is not a sin. Prospering in all areas of life is the key, and yes that includes money. You are blessed to be a blessing to others. You keep a loose grip on your money and pocessions so that God can use them and refill your empty hands. Please friends, praise Him every day for all the blessings He has given us, for that is the least we can do. Romans 12: 1, says "Present your body as a living sacrifise wholey and acceptable to the Lord." Live well and Prosper!
