What is God telling you with the problems He permits in your life?

The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you depending on how you respond to them. Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring.

Here are five ways God wants to use the problems in your life:

God uses problems to DIRECT you.

Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention? "Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways." Proverbs 20:30 (GN)

God uses problems to INSPECT you.

People are like tea bags. If you want to know what's inside them, just drop them into hot water! Has God ever tested your faith with a problem? What do problems reveal about you? "When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience." James 1:2-3 (NCV)

God uses problems to CORRECT you.

Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of something, health, money and a relationship. By losing it. "It was the best thing that could have happened to me, for it taught me to pay attention to your laws." Psalm 119:71-72 (LB)

God uses problems to PROTECT you.

A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious. Last year a friend was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem - but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management's actions were eventually discovered. "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good." Genesis 50:20 (NIV)

God uses problems to PERFECT you.

Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity. "We can rejoice when we run into problems they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of Character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it; until finally our hope and faith are Strong and steady." Romans 5:3-4 (LB)

Here's the point: God is at work in your life-even when you do not recognize it or understand it. But it's much easier and profitable when you cooperate with Him. Print this out and read this regularly. Some of you could probably use this right now!

At the National Jubilee Prayers in Namboole, President Yoweri Museveni made history when he openly repented his sins and the sins of Uganda, a move that has excited many religious leaders. Moses Mulondo brings you the prayer verbatim

Father God in heaven, today we stand here as Ugandans, to thank you for Uganda. We are proud that we are Ugandans and Africans. We thank you for all your goodness to us.

I stand here today to close the evil past and especially in the last 50 years of our national leadership history and at the threshold of a new dispensation in the life of this nation. I stand here on my own behalf and on behalf of my predecessors to repent. We ask for your forgiveness.

We confess these sins, which have greatly hampered our national cohesion and delayed our political, social and economic transformation.

We confess sins of idolatry and witchcraft which are rampant in our land. We confess sins of shedding innocent blood, sins of political hypocrisy, dishonesty, intrigue and betrayal.

Forgive us of sins of pride, tribalism and sectarianism; sins of laziness, indifference and irresponsibility; sins of corruption and bribery that have eroded our national resources; sins of sexual immorality, drunkenness and debauchery; sins of unforgiveness, bitterness, hatred and revenge; sins of injustice, oppression and exploitation; sins of rebellion, insubordination, strife and conflict.

These sins and many others have characterised our past leadership, especially the last 50 years of our history. Lord forgive us and give us a new beginning. Give us a heart to love you, to fear you and to seek you. Take away from us all the above sins.

We pray for national unity. Unite us as Ugandans and eliminate all forms of conflict, sectarianism and tribalism. Help us to see that we are all your children, children of the same Father. Help us to love and respect one another and to appreciate unity in diversity.

We pray for prosperity and transformation. Deliver us from ignorance, poverty and disease. As leaders, give us wisdom to help lead our people into political, social and economic transformation.

We want to dedicate this nation to you so that you will be our God and guide. We want Uganda to be known as a nation that fears God and as a nation whose foundations are firmly rooted in righteousness and justice to fulfil what the Bible says in Psalm 33:12: Blessed is the nation, whose God is the Lord. A people you have chosen as your own.

I renounce all the evil foundations and covenants that were laid in idolatry and witchcraft. I renounce all the satanic influence on this nation. And I hereby covenant Uganda to you, to walk in your ways and experience all your blessings forever.

I pray for all these in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Religious Leaders React

The Church of Uganda Archbishop elect, Stanley Ntagali said the prayer was a step in the right direction. That it was appropriate for the head of state to repent of his sins and the sins of Ugandans.

The leader of Pentecostal churches, Apostle Alex Mitala, said the prayer was the beginning of the healing of a nation. “All the nations we read about in the Bible were healed when their leaders repented and acknowledged God’s supremacy,” he said. Mitala urged Ugandans to turn away from their wicked ways.

Pastor Dr. Martin Kalibbala of New Testament Covenant Church warned that the fruits of repentance are what matter. “If you repent of stealing, God expects you to immediately stop stealing. If the President’s repentance is genuine, it will be measured on God’s yardstick of bearing the fruits of repentance,” he said.

Pastor Dr. Martin Ssempa of Makerere Community Church said it was a good thing for the President to repent on his behalf and on behalf of the nation. He commended those who encouraged and helped the President prepare the prayer, adding that God will answer it.

“We hope the President’s repentance will result into greater obedience to God by the executive, which he heads.

Knowledge-Based Discipleship Vs Obedience-Based Discipleship

I want to share about two different approaches to discipleship that are quite common in the church.

Knowledge-Based Discipleship:
Discipleship is based on gaining and attaining knowledge of God and the Scriptures. Discipleship is measured by the amount of information you have and the level of knowledge that you have of the Word of God. This is the most common approach to discipleship in most western churches. Which is why we have so many programs, classes and bible studies. As an example, many of the same people attend the same Bible Study at the same church year after year. As a result, their knowledge increases, meanwhile they make no changes in their lives and they obey little to nothing of what they learn. The more you know, the more discipled you are (so they think). I will let you find verses to support this approach. Best of luck.

Obedience-Based Discipleship:
Discipleship is measured when you obey and DO what you are learning. It is not merely gaining knowledge for the sake of knowledge, but for the sake of action. Learn, do. Learn, do. Hear, obey. Hear, obey. Even radically. Obedience based discipleship means serious commitment to following Jesus, not just knowing him. The demons knew Him and believed. Will you follow what you hear? Three times in John 15 Jesus says if you love me, you will obey me. The very heart of the Great Commission in Matthew 28 is for us to GO and teach people to OBEY EVERYTHING that he has commanded.

This is serious! I hope that you catch this. Understanidng the difference between these two approaches can transform your life and your church. What if preaching became about obedience instead of knowledge…in a way that people actually had to show how they are oberying what the hear each week? What if we decided that everything we do as a church will now consist of hearing God and obeying him?

The following promises from God’s Word can be taken corporately and individually.

Jn 14:15 “If you love me, you will obey what I command. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be 72 in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” (NIV)

This passage from the Gospel of John gives us tremendous insights into the results of obedience for individuals and groups. Examine this list of benefits.

• Jesus will ask the Father to give us a Counselor (the Holy Spirit) who will be with us forever
• The Holy Spirit will live with us and be in us
• We will not be abandoned as orphans, but Christ will come to us
• We will see Christ even if the world cannot see him
• We will live because Christ lives
• We will be loved by the Father
• We will be loved by Christ
• Christ will show Himself to us
I could write a book explaining these benefits alone, but John is not finished.

It’s hard to get Bibles into North Korea, but it’s possible. Recently a team from South Korea launched 30 balloons carrying New Testaments, Scripture verses and other Gospel messages into North Korea. With a typhoon fast approaching the Korean peninsula, heavy rain and wind carried the balloons directly north into the isolated country.

“The gospel is the good news which will save the dry branches in North Korea like a welcome rain,” one of the missionaries exclaimed during prayer before the launch. The team was composed of missionaries, volunteers, university students and Christians with family members in North Korea. They successfully sent 1,000 Bibles and 90,000 gospel flyers into North Korea. More than 7,900 New Testaments have been sent to North Korea this year alone.

La révolution commença avec 30 cultivateurs paysans hésitants.

C'était tard une soirée lorsque ceux-ci, en dépit de leur épuisement, s'étaient rassemblés, dans la plus petite des trois églises que comptait alors ce pays d'environ 700.000 habitants, pour écouter "John", un missionnaire en visite, leur faire part de sa vision.
Celle-ci consistait, en fait, à implanter, en trois années, au moins une église dans chacune des plus de 200 villes et villages que compte ce pays de l'Asie de l'Est ; et pour ce faire, les paysans devaient servir de semence entre les mains de Dieu. Ils se regardèrent et ensuite fixèrent le missionnaire comme s'il était fou.
"Chacun d'entre vous peut mettre sur pied un groupe d'étude biblique en famille, chez lui," dit John.
"Comment allons-nous le faire ? Qui serviront d'enseignants?" demandèrent-ils
"Vous", répondit John.
Tous les visages se refrognèrent et les têtes furent secouées en signe de désapprobation. "mais nous ne savons pas le faire."
"Je vous montrerai comment vous y prendre. Il s'agit d'une méthode très simple. Que chacun écrive son ‘histoire' de conversion sur une page."
Ensuite, John demanda aux paysans de lire, chacun, son histoire à lui-même et à haute voix cinq fois d'abord, et de la raconter aux autres après.
Puis, il demanda à chaque paysan de dresser une liste de ses connaissances non chrétiennes, en commençant par les amis et parents. La plupart se souvinrent facilement de 50, 60, 100 ou davantage des leurs qui ne connaissaient pas encore Christ.
"Divisez-les en groupes de cinq, dit John. Allez à leur recherche dans les champs, chez eux, où qu'ils soient, ramenez-les chez vous et partagez votre histoire avec eux."

Former les Formateurs

Lorsque John revint au village deux semaines plus tard pour faire le suivi, seuls 11 stagiaires avaient effectivement partagé leurs ‘histoires' avec d'autres personnes. Il leur demanda de relater leurs expériences afin d'encourager les autres. Plusieurs d'entre eux avaient, en réalité, partagé avec deux ou trois personnes ; un seul dit avoir partagé avec près d'une douzaine de personnes.
Aux 19 "silencieux", John lança le défi de partager avec les personnes sur leur listes ou de s'abstenir de la prochaine séance de formation. Au reste, il se mit à enseigner une série de leçons bibliques simples, qu'ils pourraient à leur tour enseigner à d'autres personnes afin qu'elles puissent aussi les transmettre à d'autres personnes encore.
En janvier 2001, c'est-à-dire deux mois plus tard, 20 petits groupes de louange avaient vu le jour. Quatre mois après, 327 petits groupes agrandis par 4.000 croyants nouvellement baptisés se réunissaient dans 17 villes. Ainsi, avant la fin de l'année, 12.000 nouveaux convertis adoraient déjà Dieu dans 908 églises de maison.
"Nous ne formons pas d'enseignants, nous formons des formateurs, explique John. La première génération forme la deuxième, celle-ci forme la troisième, ainsi de suite. Ainsi, vous formez un groupe lundi, un autre mercredi et puis un autre jeudi. Plus vous formez des formateurs, plus vous en avez."
Un vieux paysan releva le défi et mit sur pied plus de 100 églises en un an. Il se levait chaque matin à 5 heures, lisait et étudiait la Bible et priait pendant deux heures. Il se rendait ensuite aux champs où il travaillait jusqu'à 5 heures le soir quand il rentrait chez lui, en famille. A 7 heures du soir, il ressortait de chez lui pour aller travailler "dans les champs de Dieu jusqu'à minuit", confia-t-il avec fierté.

L'Implantation d'églises par les églises

John reprit la même procédure dans le centre urbain proche, en pleine extension, où des millions d'ouvriers venant des provinces voisines, peinent dans des milliers d'usines et vivent dans des dortoirs appartenant à celles-ci.
"Ils mangent, travaillent et dorment dans les usines, dit-il. Chaque dortoir compte environ 8 à 12 occupants. Ils se sentent très seuls. Si l'un d'eux se convertit, il peut conduire tous ses colocataires à Christ."
Une fois, les formateurs chrétiens "perdirent" un employé d'usine ; il s'agissait, en fait, d'un nouveau converti qui avaient suivi la formation des formateurs. Il avait tout simplement disparu, un beau jour.
"Six mois après sa disparition, nous l'avons retrouvé, raconte John. Il avait été muté dans une autre entreprise ; celle-ci était plus grande et employait 10.000 ouvriers. Durant les six mois, cependant, le nouveau converti formé avait mis sur pied 70 petits groupes et vu une génération des chrétiens se reproduire 10 fois" - des églises implantant des églises en réalité.
En effet, avant mi-2003, moins de trois ans après la fameuse soirée au cours de laquelle les 30 paysans épuisés se réunirent pour écouter le missionnaire qu'ils avaient cru cinglé, le mouvement d'implantation d'églises avait produit plus 9.300 églises et plus de 104.000 chrétiens baptisés.

Une méthode simple mais efficace

John, qui autrefois, se réjouissait à la création d'une église par an, douta que la vision puisse se réaliser jusqu'à , de ses propres yeux, il la vit se faire.
"Jésus dit, ‘Allez !' Il demanda nous transformions les convertis en disciples et non seulement en membres d'églises. Que nous faisions de chaque disciple un formateur. Voilà, au fait, la méthode du mouvement d'implantation d'églises. Elle est très simple mais efficace."
Former des disciples qui en plus d'évangéliser, de faire des disciples, et d'implanter des églises, forment d'autres disciples à faire de même "déclenche une réaction de chaîne", explique un stratège des missions.
L'expérience de John n'est pas unique comme le démontrent les trois petites histoires ci-dessous :
Un nouveau missionnaire conduisit un étudiant à Christ. Il enseigna à l'étudiant, tout de suite après, non seulement à partager l'Evangile avec d'autres personnes, mais il le forma également à former d'autres personnes dans la même voie. Il s'ensuit que des centaines de personnes furent converties les mois suivants.
Un autre missionnaire conduisit son professeur de langue à Christ et le forma à partager l'Evangile. Celui-ci, à son tour, conduisit sa bonne au Seigneur, celle-ci conduisit aussi son époux au Seigneur. L'époux de la bonne, quant à lui, conduisit sa belle-famille au Seigneur. Cela fut suivi d'une guérissons miraculeuse et d'une persécution sévère. Le résultat éventuel : en six mois, une tribu qui n'avait jusque là aucun chrétien avait des églises dans plus de 20 villages.
Le troisième cas est celui d'un missionnaire qui travaillait avec plusieurs cycles d'implantateurs d'églises. Ceux-ci réussirent à mettre sur pied un groupe d'églises au sein d'une tribu. Six mois plus tard, une deuxième génération d'églises virent jour. Celle-ci se mit aussi à se multiplier ; et ainsi en 18 mois, une troisième génération d'églises émergea.
En réalité, les mouvements d'implantation d'églises peuvent, à travers des histoires bibliques, des chants et d'autres moyens transmettre l'autorité de la parole de Dieu même au peuples analphabètes. Lesdits mouvements dépendent des prédicateurs laïcs et se multiplient à travers les églises de maison ou les cellules.

Quelques caractéristiques des mouvements d'implantation d'églises

Les mouvements d'implantation d'églises émergent dans des situations de changement, d'incertitude ou de chaos. En d'autres termes, lesdits mouvements sont aussi indiqués pour notre monde violent du 21e siècle qu'ils l'étaient pour le monde tumultueux du siècle premier dans lequel vivaient les apôtres.
En grande partie, les mouvements d'implantation d'églises subissent la persécution, et les croyants font preuve d'une foi courageuse face aux souffrances et à la vie martyre . "Bon nombre des dirigeants d'églises de maison ont souffert, passé des moments derrière les barreaux ou ont subi d'autres formes de persécutions à cause de leur foi, rapporte un missionnaire d'Asie. Leur courage d'évangéliser est contagieux."
Les signes et les prodiges de même que les guérissons miraculeuses constituent la norme et non l'exception étonnante en ce qui concerne les mouvements d'implantation d'églises. Selon une étude menée sur un grand mouvement asiatique, 10 des 11 croyants interrogés affirment avoir été guéries de façon miraculeuse ou connaître une personne ayant été guérie de la sorte. "Les signes et les prodiges sont fréquents que ce soit dans les villages sur la montagne ou parmi les fonctionnaires et les cadres d'entreprises raffinés des zones urbaines", dit un missionnaire d'Asie. Des missionnaires, quant à eux, subissent souvent diverses formes d'attaques spirituelles telles que les maladies ou les crises personnelles.
Les conversions se multiplient à travers les familles ou les groupes d'affinité qui dominent la plupart des cultures que par les choix individualistes qui sont tenus pour certains en Occident.
Les nouveaux convertis sont immédiatement intégrés dans le ministère ou l'œuvre évangélique. En Inde, un homme âgé a, lui seul, implanté 42 églises au cours de la première année de sa conversion. Personne ne l'avait informé qu'il avait, au préalable, besoin d'une formation spécialisée. Dans bon nombre de cas, des "pré-convertis" se mettent à propager la Bonne Nouvelle de manière spontanée avant qu'ils ne reçoivent formellement Christ comme leur Sauveur et Seigneur. La formation sur le tas continue et non des cours de formation de disciples interminables, constitue la règle. Les croyants sont, en effet, tenus de mettre promptement en pratique (le plus souvent le même jour) ce dont ils viennent d'apprendre.

Comment pouvez-vous soutenir les mouvements d'implantation d'églises ?

Vérifiez les suggestions suivantes auprès des missionnaires qui sont en plein dans l'action :
Soutenez à travers vos dons généreux les missionnaires, qui eux, soutiennent à présent la mise sur pied des mouvements d'implantation d'églises ou préparent d'autres missionnaires pour la mission.
Priez de manière fervente, spécifique et stratégique pour les peuples non évangélisés et pour les missionnaires qui les servent.
Engagez-vous. "Toute personne est utile à Dieu ! , dit un missionnaire. Dans notre zone, des ouvriers engagés à court terme, des aumôniers des hôpitaux, des hommes d'affaires, des anciens pasteurs et des laïcs servent à faciliter les mouvements d'implantation d'églises."

This short video shows highlights from the Rusizi Mission in Rwanda, August 2012. At the invitation of the local church, International and Rwandan evangelists partnered together in proclaiming the Gospel in multiple settings around the district, with over 81,000 hearing, 7,650+ responding. This is part of a 10-year strategy, an indigenous initiative of Rwandan church leaders to reach their country with this message of salvation and hope. It is in response to the Calls to Action issued in the Cape Town Commitment coming out of The Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization. Impact the community: NY Couple Donates Fire Truck to African Hospital

When a fire destroyed thousands of dollars of medicine at a Christian hospital in Africa in 2009, an American couple set out on a quest to send them a used fire truck.

But finding the truck was just the beginning. How would they get it to Africa?

The Bongolo Call

Putting out fires in Tropical Gabon is not easy. At the Christian and Missionary Alliance Hospital in Bongolo, a series of fires several years ago set the ministry's work back for months.

"The third one almost burned down our entire warehouse, $100,000 worth of medicines and supplies," the Christian and Missionary Alliance's Dr. David Thompson said.

The devastating loss moved Diann and Dave Conquest, the parents-in-law of one of the one missionary doctors, to take action.

"He didn't hear God audibly, but he just had a sense, he just felt called, that Bongolo needed a fire truck and that we were meant to be a part of it," Diann Conquest recalled.

In Pittsford, N.Y., the couple turned to eBay where they found a 1975 Mack fire truck. They bought it for $3,000 and then raised the funds to have it repaired and outfitted with the necessary equipment and professional signage.

"And God has blessed us with friends and family and associates, people we don't even know, who've given over $20,000 to repair this," Diann said.

Journey to Africa

The truck that once sped to fires in New York City was on its way to a new career in Africa, arriving at the port of Libreville, capital of Gabon.

That's where the Christian Broadcasting Network's West Africa Director Jon Cassel took over, using his credentials as a volunteer fireman to drive the truck 320 miles across the equator and down to Bongolo.

Pressing through the tropical heat, Cassel passed the village of Lambarene, where Nobel Prize-winning missionary doctor Albert Schweitzer built his hospital in the early 1900s.

At the damaged Komo River Bridge, he had to wait for a barge to carry the truck across the river. Finally, after an eventful trip, Cassel and his companions neared the hospital and an excited crowd.

There the townspeople welcomed the area's very first fire fighting machine. For local officials, the refurbished fire truck represents saved buildings, businesses, and even lives.

"They've had several fires among storekeepers in town and those buildings have burned to the ground," Thompson said. "People just stood there and watched them burn to the ground. There was no way to put out those fires."

"So what we're hoping is that we'll be able to get the fire truck there quickly enough and with the trained people put some of those fires out and save the businesses of some of these, particularly Muslim storekeepers," he added.

Cassel set about training select hospital staff and townspeople in fire-fighting techniques, the truck's equipment, and how to use, drain, and pack hoses.

Today, Bongolo's Christian and Missionary Alliance Hospital, one of the best medical facilities in this part of Africa, has found one more way to serve their community.

"I think there are great opportunities to share Christ and to show the love of Christ and really to demonstrate to the community that we're there for them," Thompson said.

Autrement dit, que dit Dieu à travers ses envoyés les prophètes de l’ère démocratique ? Est-ce un hasard ? Donnera t-elle les résultats escomptés ? Le pasteur DION souligne que par le processus de démocratisation, l’humanité aboutira à un gouvernement universel dont les prémices sont annoncées par des refrains aujourd’hui quasi internationaux et qui ne sont autres que la « mondialisation » et la « globalisation ». L’homme de Dieu indique que ces deux néologismes ont déjà de façon embryonnaire leurs bases dans le vécu quotidien des nations : linguistique, économique, idéologique, sociale et militaire. L’une de ses bases est le « tout puissant Fond Monétaire International (FMI) ».««

This Definition is two-way: "accept" and "spread".
This Definition is both internal and EXTERNAL.

Discipleship takes place when people attend church programs.

Des opposants au regime seront arretes, enleves, assassines. Des hommes de Dieu persecutes, emprisonnes ou assassines, des eglises attaquees et detruites. Il y'aura une crise sociale enorme. Mais La population bravera la peur et aura un esprit d'audace face a la barbarie militaire. Oui, il y'aura encore des repressions sanglantes et des arrestations qui feront changer l'opinion internationale. Plusieurs responsables religieux et plusieurs hommes politiques seront arretes ou assassines par le pouvoir. Dieu donne encore 8 mois au pouvoir de se repentir et changer sa politique.

Des milliers d'ivoiriens sans armes se souleveront contre ce pouvoir mais plusieurs tomberont sous la repression de l'armee et des groupes de miliciens du pouvoir. L' ONU et la Force Francaise se retracteront face a la barbarie militaire du pouvoir et changeront leur politique. La revolte prendra place a la peur chez la population. Des milliers de gens envahiront les rues. Ensuite, quelques soldats renverseront le pouvoir et mettront en place une transition militaire. Mais ca commencera par un soulevement populaire.

Il faut 1000 intercesseurs avant la fin du mois d'Aout pour activer les propheties concernant la Cote d'Ivoire. Parce qu'une guerre de 6 mois aura lieu a partir du mois d'Aout. Et se soldera par la fin du regime actuel. Jean Marie Domoraud
