Since my last post, I have been playing Mafia Wars non stop. I thought I said that it is not a game to be addiction to and certainly, I don’t think I am. Just that I am someone who has an obsessive streak and one I start something, I want to be at the top. HEHEHE After almost two weeks of game play, I am at level 57 now, at this time of writing.

While waiting for my Energy to be replenished this morning, a friend sent me an egg on Hatchlings. I actually installed this application a long time ago. If I am not mistaken, I installed it as soon as I registered with Facebook. LOL I never played it, though.

So I went to claim the special egg that Julie sent to me and goodness, I am captivated by the vibrant colours of the eggs that I couldn’t stop hunting for them!

I played Hatchlings for two hours from 4.30am to 6.30am this morning and found a total of 168 eggs where 22 of them are special eggs. Of course, since then, I have hunted even more eggs. Check out these screen shots.

The funny thing is that hunting these eggs won’t get me any benefits. I don’t even know why I do it except that I couldn’t stop. I noted that the top players have more than 20,000 eggs already and that just shows that they have no life away from the computer, sorry to say! I now have more than 250 eggs in my basket. I am afraid I am headed that way too!

I chose to be a Mogul and after playing for 2+ days, I am already Master Associate at Level 22, though I am actually doing Soldier jobs. I seem to get attacked and robbed a lot and I lose all the time. I think other players like to target Moguls because Moguls are supposed to have a weaker character because their advantage is in making more money compared to other characters. And I think it is because that right now, I am trying to build my Energy, neglecting my Defense, so that I could do more jobs and level up faster.

I keep the game running day and night whenever my computer is connected to the internet and play it every chance I have when I have enough Energy but still I don’t think that I am addicted to it like my friends are or that I will be addicted to it. Maybe things will change once I achieve Level 35 and qualify to go to Cuba! It’s a whole new underground world there!
