As we’ve discussed in our guide to ordering blinds online, price is just one component to focus on when selecting a window treatments vendor. However, price is often a critical factor… after all, you’re most likely purchasing online in order to save money. To this end, we have scoured the web for the best prices available. Below is a chart depicting the results of this survey. In this edition of the price survey, we focus on routeless blinds (also known as no-holes and deLight blinds, click the previous link for more information on this type of window treatment). Survey date was 1/21/10.

However, price is often a critical factor… after all, you’re most likely purchasing online in order to save money. To this end, we have scoured the web for the best prices available. Below is a chart depicting the results of this survey. We plan to do these surveys on a regular basis varying the focus each time. Today the focus is on inexpensive faux wood blinds. Also, the survey doesn’t factor in price matching programs, which can get you a lower price, but can be difficult to get the vendor to act on. This is a very interesting idea that may appeal to those with a horrible view, think brick wall. These roller shades feature nighttime cityscapes of Paris, Tokyo, Helsinki and Stockholm. Currently they are available at the lofty price of $475 in limited quantities, but as Gizmodo points out, perhaps a place like Ikea will pick up the design and make it available to the masses at a reasonable price. We can keep our fingers crossed anyway.
