My Pink Stamper Design Project for June+Blog Candy

Life around my house has changed a bit. I have gone back to work and am working 6 days a week so that has also changed my crafting too. So I have to say a "Big-Thank You" to Design Memory Crafts for having faith in me. More to come about the blog candy.....

My project was done with one of my favorite My Pink Stamper Stamp Sets. This set is called Invitation Only and you can purchase them Here.

For this Invitation I used Life's A Beach and the paper is the new Echo Park-Splash. I used a little Glossy Accents for the fins, water and face mask. (sorry not a great pic-it was not dry) But it is all shiny now.

I also used Diamond Stickles on his hair, stripes in shorts and coral.

The yellow around the edges was thanks to my Sponsor Design Memory Crafts.

I used the Color Gelato in Yellow on this card in and the project last week I used the Red Stamper's Big Brush and the Color Gelato in Red. They are so fun and very easy to use.

I cut the cupcake from Sweet Treats and the ribbon is from Stampin Up and last but not least the stamp is an old Stampin Up Set.

Happy Birthday to Cricut

Can you believe Cricut is 5 years old? And I am now 40 and got a new teal cricut for my b-day from my bestie and I asked for the new E-2 from my hubby and kids for my b-day to add to my cricut family.

Not only do I love my cricut but I love what owning a cricut has given me. I have THE BEST friends in the world.

I used Sweet Treats and Cricut Everyday along with Nikki Sivils Paper-It's Your Party.

Hope you enjoyed and I hope you are going to watch HSN for the reveal of the E2. YEAH!!!

My Pink Stamper Design Project for April

I am sooo excited that you have joined me today. I am also excited for my project.

Normally you do not make a party favor for yourself but I decided that this is just what I needed. This is my party favor for me from me. I have given these as party favors so everyone will remember the big day for my kids.

So-Since today is my 40th birthday and a BIG one I am going to use this book to record what I am feeling today.

Hello Everyone,

I am so excited to have you here for some Birthday Party FUN.

I created a layout for you using Sweet Treats & Don Juan. The paper is Basic Grey's "Life is a Party".

Most of you know my bestie Monique and also are aware that last year we fought super hard and thank goodness she is a BIG fighter against the "Evil Breast Cancer". Well she is considering every birthday from here out to be Bonus Birthday's. I had the perfect stamp set from Robyn-it is the "Everyday Sentiments". Can I say I love this stamp set because it is BIG!! Love it. You will want to go HERE to order them.

"My Pink Stamper Design Project for March" is more Fun with Kate's ABC's

I have to tell you I really love this cartridge. This paper was perfect-Echo Park "Little Girl" Such vibrant colors!

This amazing tricycle was cut at 3 inches.

The background paper had a scallop circle only. I decided to cut a 10 1/2 inch circle in brown and cut a 10 inch circle in the plaid paper to add some depth to the layout.

The title was cut at 3 1/2 inches. I just simply inked and added the dots.

For the journal box I used Lacy Labels shadow cut in brown at 2 inches. Then cut without shadow in the dark pink and the same cut but in white for the stamp. I just cut the tag down a bit.

This stamp set is one of Robyn's many great sentiments. Check out her full line HERE. You will want to collect them all...

A Beautiful View

Last weekend a large group of ladies went to South Lake Tahoe for a retreat. Amazing...

This is a picture of the ride up. We encountered a little snow....I loved it so much.

This is the view right outside the door of our very large room. This is also the stairs that I twisted my ankle on. I am now known as "Grace". Really it is not super new to me.

This are just a few of my peeps...There were about 37 ladies... And yes-the stairs in the back are the way you go to get your car....

In this picture you can see the snow storm coming in. Amazing...This was a super great trip....

I really love to make bags with Tags, Bags, Boxes and More using 12x24 cardstock. When doing this make sure you change your mat size each time you insert your paper. Also set your machine on Fit to Page-Watch the size as it flashes on the screen. Mine cut at 11 1/2 inches...

The handle is my little cheater way of designing my own ribbon. (ha, ha) I love both colors of ribbon so I just used adhesive and applied to the back of the turquoise ribbon and place in the center of the brown dot ribbon (Brown dot ribbon is from Michael's and the turquoise is from Joanne's)


This paper is Gabrielle from BoBunny.

There are soo many beautiful sheets to this paper. The sheets have butterflies that are spread throughout the paper. I just cut several of the butterflies from the sheet then added ink & stickles. When I attached them to the paper I only put the adhesive on the body of the butterfly so that the wings could be bent to give the project dimension.

This is just another close up of the project.

I wanted you to see a close up of the ribbon. This is really easy to do. I just started at the top (inside of the purse) and gathered a few pleats and applied adhesive (fabric-tac). I continued until I got to the bottom. And of course-I added a little bling.

Horsin' Around Part 2

Happy Thursday- This post is part 2. Part 1 was yesterday's post. If you missed it then-check out yesterday's post.

For this card -I did the same thing with the hat as the girl card. Without embossing hat...
For the mane on the horse I simply used some brown(Capacinno) twine and glued to the horse. (does not have to be a specific length-I used 1/2" pieces. I then gave the horse a haircut.
For the stick on the horse-I did the same as the girl.
I embossed the ivory colored cardstock with Diamond in the Rough embossing folder and my cuttlebug.
And the back brown piece was also punched using the same Stampin Up punch.
For the jute I honestly just made a design and glued it down. I used Zip Dry for most of these items.
After jute was down I added the horse shoes also cut from the same cart. These are cut at 1 1/2 inches.

The sentiment was stamped and glued on a leftover piece of background paper and I added the copper brads. Again this stamp is one of My Pink Stampers.
