In cooperation with MTV and Swank Productions, we are pleased to finally be able to share with you Felicia and Kimberly’s wedding photos. The wedding, photographed back in April of this year, was also recorded as part of Felicia’s journey on MTV’s show “MADE”. The episode features the start of Felicia and Kimberly’s rap music career as the group BB Gunnz. The full episode aired today, June 19th. In case you missed it, the episode will re-air several times and will eventually be viewable on MTV’s web site.

Spcial thanks to Maya from Swank Productions for the hookup and her fab job on the wedding planning. Also thanks to Royce from Royce Winnick Photography for shooting with us.

So this year we thought we would try something new and give a shout-out to some of our favorite vendors. We meet so many talented and creative vendors along the way and would love to share them with you. Our first entry happens to be a hybrid. As we reached out to our couples to get some info on their vendors for the spotlight series, we came across Jessica’s DIY project. Here’s the scoop:

Jessica and Jerremy wanted to integrate their hispanic heritage into their day as much as they could. The Mariachi band at the church was an easy find. Digging deeper, Jessica thought to use maracas instead of rice or bubbles for their exit from the church. She found some plain wood maracas online at orientaltrading.com and thought she would make personalizing them a fun DIY project. With a little creativity and some paint, ribbon and mini jingle bells, she did just that. The maracas were a big hit and the chorus of maracas outside the church along with the Mariachi band was the perfect send-off.

Well, we expected a hurricane could derail a wedding this season but never expected snow in October; neither did Fallon and Josh. Thankfully, their day was planned almost entirely indoors at Nicotra’s Balllroom at the Hilton Garden Inn in Staten Island, NY. It’s a great location for a nice summer afternoon wedding on the back lawn by the gazebo, but not in a half-foot of snow. Thankfully, the interior decor is superb and provided us with a variety of nice shooting locations.

Let’s start with Fallon getting into her Badgley Mischka shoes.

Jillian is officially the holder of our new record for number of bridesmaids with fourteen.

After a beautiful church ceremony, we were off to the reception at the Pearl River Hilton in NY.

The grounds at the Hilton were spectacular and you couldn’t ask for better fall foliage.
