Manga Details Revealed!

2012-04-25T06:51:00.002-07:00

At last I am releasing details of my upcoming Manga! Chapter 1 is nearing completion and I hope it to be released sometime soon.

Story Plot (very vague)

The story centers on a 19 year old guy called Asher. Who has a love of the natural world of Lillium and cherishes the creatures that man shares the planet with. He has come to learn that man and creature do not always get along, man is pushing the creatures out and killing them senselessly. It is the way the world of Lillium is becoming.

Ashers strong sense of justice gets him in the way of other peoples business. However saving a few creatures from angry villagers won't be enough. Asher has been chosen. To unite the people and creatures of Lillium, like the days of old.

Here's the front cover for the Manga:

Projects Project Projects

2012-04-16T07:32:00.000-07:00

The drum beat in my head 'Projects!' Whilst I await lines from a voice actor to continue onto Scene 4 for episode 11 of my Lillium series. I am busy making my life hectic with other projects.

The short project that I annoying shall not reveal yet is still underway and is reaching its epic section .. eek

(What kind of vehicle could this be?)

As well as continuing to create my Manga I am currently digitizing pages 5-10, expect to hear news of chapter 1's release sometime next week!

And finally good old freelance work that comes and goes without warning. Not too many details on this project yet, but it is a informational tutorial video:

Projects: Sci fi? and Manga exert!

2012-04-07T02:36:00.000-07:00

New Venture, Manga!

2012-04-02T12:11:00.000-07:00

Lots of animating still going on but one of my permanent side projects is going to be creating a Manga alongside the Lillium series. Taking us way back in time to Lillium where Blob has not yet come to being, in fact... none of the animated characters from the series are present in it... yet. The manga will be traditional black and white with a few colour pages here and there and will read from right to left.

Here is a sample of one of the colour pages.

Will have more details on plot and characters as progress continues. Also update on new animated short soon to come!

Animated app for ParkingSurfer released!

2012-03-29T15:20:00.000-07:00

Freelance, series and short project Updates!

2012-03-23T08:30:00.000-07:00

It's just got really busy around here, no sooner after completing one project for a client another one comes along with work for me to do. It's another animated advert explaining a useful app. That's all the info you're getting now on that, but here's a screen-shot:

(I'm really enjoying animating such odd bodied characters)

A few days ago I created a few cat drawings for a client, decided to bunch all the designs together to make a cute group photo:

(Cute cats!)

Now there's also plenty of Blob Corp. Studios own work to complete. Such as finishing the lip sync hell scene 3 for episode 11

(Pirates, yap yap yap great for viewers, hell for lip syncing)

What is this!? There's more!? I told you I was busy. I am also working on a short project involving Blob and a possible 2nd short project. I'm not revealing any details yet, so here's a pic to wet your appetite.

(Blob is about to have his boredom broken........)

Serious Lip Syncing Scene 3

2012-03-20T03:46:00.000-07:00

Diving deeper into Scene 3 and all it seems I ever do is lip sync, lip sync, lip sync. Here's 2 screen-shots from the scene so far!

(Blob feeling seasick perhaps?)

(The Blue Arrow crew introducing themselves)

More updates as progress is made. Probably more lip sync for the most part *cries*

Carlos app ad animation!

2012-03-19T02:20:00.000-07:00

Here's the animated ad I animated for a client. The style aimed for was a basic style with coloured objects of importance.

The ad is to display the functions of the app currently being made that helps to protect your car.

Also here's a character design I did for a client. I call it 'Simple Frog'

The design brief was to make it stupid and have a little bit of a human personality.

Ep. 11 Official Poster (and Freelance Work)

(Episode 11 Poster 'Aboard The Blue Arrow'

However Episode 11 has been taking a ride at the back of my animating schedule due to the arrival of a project from a client. I can't reveal too much info at this time but here are some screen-shots.

More updates soon to come!

Scene 2 Complete

2012-02-27T03:33:00.000-08:00

Meet the pirates! + Ep.11 Scene 2 Update

2012-02-21T02:02:00.000-08:00

As the scene that features the pirates who will be the focus of this episode (and a few more) I thought now was a good time to reveal them in detail:

The Red hair guy is Koji, captain of the Blue Arrow ship. Laid back and confident is his style. The girl crushing Blob with a hug is Channie, she was born almost deaf yet remains upbeat and happy all the time. Her job is look out in the Crows nest of the ship. The strange looking creature is a Gillquas that goes by the name of Artemis. Intelligent and well mannered he adds a little decorum to the roughness of the other pirates. He is the ships navigator. Last at the back is Maggs the ships muscle he often steers the ship when Koji is sleeping and deals with the anchor. He is the classical silent type.

(Blob high in the trees)

Ep 11 Scene 2 Start!

2012-02-13T07:44:00.000-08:00

Also I am working on a new Blob Vs. animation. This time around it's Blob Vs. The Jack-in-the-Box

(Blob's curious of this mysterious musical box)

2012-01-19T07:23:00.000-08:00

After a short time in Pre-production, Episode 11 'Aboard The Blue Arrow' is now under way with the prologue being animated this week. I hope to get into the first scene of the episode next week!

(The planet Lillium left a bit damaged after Episode 10's events)

In exciting news due to the departure of dear Matt and Puddles, the Lillium intro was needing changing, therefore a new intro has been created. Be sure to see that at the beginning of Episode 11, but may release it sooner!
