  <description>As of today I'm writing for The Register as a storage and hardware editor. The intention is that the Blocks and Files content will be absorbed into The Register's content. No more will you be able to read endless lists of storage suppliers' press releases or quarterly results summaries. The invited opinion pieces will be no more. But the news stories and analysis and irreverence - without typos (!) - will continue albeit Registerized. Eg:</description>
