I have seen this image above cirviling around the net for some time now but only until today I discovered the photographer. Her name is Bieke Claessens and she is from Belgium. and 'Ro' for another Danish brand Fritz Hansen ... where 'Ro' means tranquillity in Danish. I read on the site that the name 'Ro' was chosen because it captures the point of the chair in just two letters, thus reflecting the Nordic approach and concept of beauty... nice we like that!

Stylist Femke Pastijn has a huge talent for styling and coming up with very simple and creative DIY ideas for the home. Taking forward the neon trend she thought of a solution for both hanging your tea towels to dry and covering your windows in a unique way. The wall hook made using a ruler and some spools are fun and very decorative for every sewing room. (All published in Dutch magazine 101-woonideeen)

A ceramic artist and illustrator combined forces ... and see the lovely result. Mitsy Sleurs from ArtMind, who is living and working in Hasselt, Belgium and illustrator Lila Ruby King from the UK made these mugs, plates and bowls.
I wanted to share with you my newest line of work, a collection of tableware made in collaboration with illustrator Lila Ruby King.
They named the collection Sea Level. For the imagery, they went with what they are calling a contemporary taken on Delfts blue. I really like them.

My sons came home today from school with self-made presents for Sunday ... Mothers Day that is ... the excitement on their faces and happiness to surprise me made me feel very special as a mom.
But I am still a 'daughter' too and feel very lucky to have my mom with me here in Singapore at the moment ... so in honor of my mom and my love for her I made these tags for her presents... something self-made too :)
