The Beatles: Get Back is an upcoming documentary film directed by Peter Jackson that covers the making of the Beatles' 1970 album Let It Be, which had the working title of Get Back. The film draws from material originally captured in January 1969 by director Michael Lindsay-Hogg for his 1970 documentary of the album. The Beatles: Get Back endeavours to recut Lindsay-Hogg's film to show the friendly camaraderie that still existed between the Beatles, as well as to challenge longtime assertions that the project was entirely marked by ill-feeling.

Abbey Road is for some people the greatest Beatles Album from the later period. Full of wonderful compositions full of the usual Beatles magic that we have come to expect. Side Two is a different animal.

It is a home for more amazing stand alone pieces but also offers the Abbey Road Medley which strings together piece after piece of incredible works in a stream of conciousness. Reminiscent of a divine presence or “God Overload” Every riff, melody and next stage of the through composition hits us with a wave of love and feeling of oneness with the universe. If there ever was a medley of vibrations that bring out the divine in each of us this is the one.

I am arranging this Album to be played on one guitar. All sheetmusic/tab will be available to anyone. I ask that you subscribe to my channel and send a contribution to help support my work as I do this totally unfunded.

I am currently writing and recording the White Album arrangements but am starting to get to work on Abbey Road in my spare time.

These include ascending and descending arpeggios and alternating thumb. My favourite is Travis Picking which is easy to get going and then apply variations to it to create your own way of playing it and add it to your song writing skills. I have already encountered this technique while arranging all 30 songs of the Beatles White album for fingerstyle guitar. Songs that use this technique are Julia, Dear Prudence and Blackbird to a degree. The Beatles iconic White Album is my favourite Beatles album! I am arranging every Beatles song on the White Album and giving away the sheetmusic/tab for FREE to help share this amazing music. I am hoping more guitar players can have access to good intermediate solo guitar arrangements of Beatles songs. This project is being done out of my love for the music and my love of Guitar playing.
