Some reviewers with fine lines and wrinkles mentioned after a few hours they noticed some creasing under the eyes and other fine line areas. But for my combination skin, it was just as stunning as the KVD foundation!

Before you buy: Try picking one that is 1-2 shades darker than you normally would…trust me. The white Olay swirl in the foundation does end up lightening the end product.

These shades are perfect for a soft glam or neutral look. I’ve been a huge supported of L.A. Girl cosmetics, especially if you’re on a budget. L.A. Girl’s mission is “bringing artistry to life by providing prestige-quality color cosmetics to all makeup users alike absolutely affordable luxury” as an affordable luxury cosmetics brand, and I could not agree more. I can’t wait to see what else they come out with!

This one is a bit tricky to find on Amazon, but if you can figure out your shade (try using MAC’s Foundation Finder) and search for the foundation and your shade number, you should be able to find it. They are less expensive at beauty stores like Ulta, but it’s worth it if you don’t have access to Ulta or Sephora.

Today we’re trying out 14 products from Flower Beauty’s line. It’s cruelty-free and some of their products are vegan. This brand is supposed to compare to prestige brands, and they’ve also won a lot of awards, so I’m pretty excited to see what it’s all about. I’ll let you know what I think of each of them and if any would be dupes for any high-end products!

The Skinny Microbrow Pencil

First up is their Skinny Microbrow Pencil and at first glance, I knew it looked familiar. It is almost an exact copy of Fenty Beauty’s Brow MVP, I mean exactly. The formula felt the same and the brush is the same and it’s half of the cost! This is an absolute must-have.

One swipe and I was in awe! This definitely has some pigment, so you need to grab your shade but I applied this after my foundation and it was like a magic eraser for texture…speechless.

Get Real Serum Foundation

This was my first time with a serum foundation. It says medium to buildable coverage, nice glass bottle. It was very runny, I used a microfiber sponge to apply it to one side and swiped it one with a flat foundation brush. It feels extremely weightless, very natural with good coverage. This would be perfect for those who struggle with cakey or flaky after foundation issues. It did exactly what it says.

I loooooved the way this felt, it was smooth, thick, and it’s almost mousse-like. The shade range wasn’t huge, but about what I’d expect for tinted primers. Also, it smells wonderful. It can be worn alone or under your foundation, but today it’s going under the foundation. Although it does give you a nice even skin tone.

This is a 24-hour foundation, so I have high expectations. I used Juno & Co sponge to apply it. Aside from me grabbing a shade too light, the coverage was amazing. It gives me that Fenty Eaze tint feel.

This was okay for me. I do prefer full coverage, so this may be one that’s just not for me. I would day this and the e.l.f. Camo concealer could go head to head, but it did its job. Also, such a pleasant smell.

SpongeBob Highlighter

Let me start by saying after I swatched the Spongebob highlighter and the Fenty highlighter, no one could tell which was which. Actually, the best part, most people thought the Spongebob highlighter was the Fenty! I mean, the pigment, the shimmer…I was shoook.

Finding this highlighter might be the hardest part right now. I found mine at a display in Walmart, I’ve also seen it in stores at Ulta. Wet n Wild’s website says it’s coming soon, so you might have the search for this one! I’ll update this post with a link once it drops on their site.

It’s absolutely worth a try. The metallics in this resemble Fenty’s highlighter. I’d say it’s just a tad darker, but barely noticeable. Did I mention it was $6?

It’s the affordability for me. Is the formula ever going to be as good as Jaclyn Hill’s? No, but I think it’s absolutely comparable when it comes to the pigments, shades, and blending. It’s a must-have palette if you’re short on cash and looking for a palette with almost identical colors and shades to Jaclyn Hill. I mean, 35 shades for $0.23 each is a steal!

Next up is the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation. This one works wonders for anyone with fine lines, wrinkles, or those with drier skin, giving you that smooth, hydrated and flawless look.

Before you buy: Try picking one that is 1-2 shades darker than you normally would…trust me. The white olay swirl in the foundation does end up lightening the end product.

If you’ve been around for a while, then you know my looks are usually not complete without falsies. My natural lashes are a bit short and need a little extra work to give them length and curl so I’m always looking for new mascaras to help me out, so I’m anxious to see what Wet n Wild is bringing. The mascara wand was a little larger than I usually use but easy enough to handle. The pigment is great and it added a bit of length with minimal clumping. I’d say if you have decent lashes, this may do wonders for you.
