BENEFIT

Convenience - easy to use and swipe, much more safer than bring a sum of money.
Peer pressure - paying with card show your status and strength of financial especially during having a time with business friend.
Rewards - each card have a reward. There are cards that offer plane tickets, sports merchandise, and good old-fashioned cash based on how much you spend on card.
Building credit - using a credit card with responsible can help build one' credit score which could mean a better shot at a loan or mortgage down the road.

DISADVANTAGE

Late payment - the most important when use the card is no miss or late payment. Late fees, interest, and penalties making monthly payments increase double.
Debt - many people sunk in credit card debt with no way out. When debt are getting higher and cannot pay monthly, your name will be black listed in company bank.
Hidden fees - no bank will tell you the hidden charges, once you have sign the contract then you will notify the fees and there is no turning back.

PETALING JAYA 17 Dis. - Pemilik kenderaan yang gagal membayar saman tidak boleh memperbaharui cukai jalan pada tahun hadapan apabila inisiatif Bidang Keberhasilan Utama Negara (NKRA) bagi pengangkutan awam bandar terutama di Lembah Klang dilaksanakan sepenuhnya.

Ketua Makmal NKRA Pengangkutan Awam Bandar, Mohamad Nur Kamal memberitahu, rangkaian elektronik yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan NKRA juga boleh menghalang kenderaan berat memasuki kawasan bandar pada waktu puncak.

''Rangkaian elektronik ini juga akan membolehkan Sistem Maklumat Pengangkutan Bersepadu (ITIS) menjadi pemantau utama kepada semua sistem pengangkutan negara.

''Sistem penguatkuasaan juga akan disatukan, membabitkan Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ), Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), Lembaga Pelesenan Kenderaan Perdagangan (LPKP) dan pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT)," katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian kepada pemberita di Hari Terbuka Program Transformasi Kerajaan di Pusat Konvensyen Sunway Pyramid di sini hari ini.

Katanya, sistem elektronik ini juga akan melibatkan penggunaan kad Touch n' Go secara menyeluruh iaitu untuk membayar tiket bas, tempat letak kereta, komuter dan LRT.

Penggunaan kad itu jelas beliau, akan memberi penjimatan yang banyak kepada pengguna terutama dari segi kos meletak kenderaan di Terminal Pengangkutan Bersepadu (ITT) yang sedang dan akan dibina iaitu di Bandar Tasik Selatan, Gombak dan Sungai Buloh.

''Kesemua ITT ini mempunyai kemudahan tempat meletak kenderaan yang banyak misalnya di ITT Bandar Tasik Selatan terdapat 4,000 petak, ITT Gombak akan mempunyai 2,500 petak, cukup untuk pengguna pengangkutan awam.

''Kegagalan pengguna menggunakan kad elektronik akan menyebabkan mereka membayar kadar pengangkutan awam yang tinggi berbanding penjimatan sebanyak 50 peratus apabila menggunakan kad tersebut," katanya.

Mohamad Nur yang merupakan penasihat khas Kementerian Pengangkutan memberitahu, kerajaan menyasarkan sehingga 600,000 orang akan menggunakan pengangkutan awam menjelang 2012.

Jelasnya, ia peningkatan sebanyak 360,000 pengguna berbanding sekarang sebanyak 240,000 orang.

Bonus ASB naik kepada 8.55 sen tahun ini

KUALA LUMPUR 14 Dis. - Seramai 6.78 juta pelabur Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) bakal mendapat agihan pendapatan sebanyak 7.30 sen seunit dan bonus 1.25 sen seunit bagi tahun kewangan 31 Disember 2009.

Jumlah agihan pendapatan itu meningkat daripada 7.00 sen seunit pada tahun lalu.

Pengerusi Permodalan Nasional Bhd. (PNB), Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid berkata, peruntukan itu membabitkan pembayaran sebanyak RM4.95 bilion, peningkatan sebanyak 19.56 peratus berbanding RM4.14 bilion pada tahun sebelumnya.

Peruntukan bagi pembayaran bonus pula melibatkan sejumlah RM537.65 juta oleh PNB.

Beliau berkata demikian pada sidang akhbar pengumuman prestasi ASB di sini, hari ini.

Sementara itu, Presiden dan Ketua Eksekutif PNB, Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman berkata, jumlah agihan pendapatan itu adalah kompetitif meskipun ia mampu membuat agihan sebanyak 11 peratus.

Jelas berkata, pelabur tidak boleh membandingkan secara kolektif jumlah agihan pendapatan dan bonus tahun lalu masing-masing sebanyak 7.00 dan 1.75 sen seunit, sebaliknya perlu melihat prestasi dana ASB sendiri.

Mengulas lanjut, Hamad Kama Piah menjelaskan, dalam situasi semasa adalah tidak adil sekiranya para pelabur mengharapkan jumlah agihan yang tinggi.

"Biarpun ramai yang tidak suka cara saya membuat perbandingan, tetapi hakikatnya pulangan yang kita berikan adalah lebih baik daripada simpanan.

"Saya membuat perbandingan sedemikian kerana seperti yang saya katakan sebelum ini, para pelabur boleh mengeluarkan pelaburan mereka pada bila-bila masa, sama seperti bank.

"PNB memberi agihan 7.30 sen seunit sedangkan kalau kita menyimpan hanya memperoleh 1.7 atau 1.8 peratus sahaja, beza lebih lima peratus," ujarnya.

Ditanya mengapa perlunya PNB menyimpan rizab bagi dana-dananya, Hamad Kama Piah menjelaskan: "Ia adalah pendekatan PNB untuk membolehkan kita menambah pelaburan bagi memperoleh pulangan lebih baik pada masa akan datang".

Ahmad Sarji menambah, sehingga 10 Disember lalu, ASB telah memperoleh pendapatan kasar sebanyak RM5.46 bilion, naik 3.4 peratus berbanding RM5.28 bilion pada 2008.

Syarikat-syarikat pelaburan menyumbang sebanyak RM1.48 bilion atau 27 peratus daripada jumlah pendapatan kasar manakala keuntungan daripada penjualan saham menyumbang sebanyak RM3.67 bilion.

Pendapatan selebihnya yang berjumlah RM309 juta diperoleh melalui pelaburan dalam instrumen jangka pendek dan pelaburan lain.

Ahmad Sarji berkata, pengiraan pengagihan pendapatan itu adalah berdasarkan purata baki pegangan minimum bulanan bagi tempoh pelaburan sepanjang tahun kewangan ASB yang berakhir pada 31 Disember 2009.

Sementara pengiraan bonus pula dibuat berdasarkan kepada purata baki pegangan minimum bulanan yang dimiliki pelabur dalam tempoh 10 tahun bermula 2000 hingga 2009.

Pembayaran pengagihan pendapatan dan bonus ASB akan dikreditkan secara automatik ke dalam buku pelaburan pemegang saham dan urusan mengemas kini mulai 4 Januari 2010.

Semua urus niaga bagi ASB di Ibu Pejabat Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd. (ASNB) dan ejen-ejen di seluruh negara akan ditangguhkan bermula 21 Disember ini hingga 3 Januari 2010 bagi tujuan pengiraan pengagihan.

Anda mungkin pernah dengar MLM atau Multi-level marketing yang orang kata bagai cendawan tumbuh selepas hujan. Tiap2 tahun ade je MLM baru yang kuar cuma konsep perniagaan yang berbeza. Dulu aku pun taksub benda MLM ni, last2 bila aku terbaca satu buku tentang benda alah ni...aku sedar satu benda. Sebelum aku citer lebih lanjut, meh dengar citer aku terbaru.

Dijadikan satu kisah malam tu, member bisnes "A" bukan nama sebenar ajak jumpa...katanya ada insentif kerajaan untuk bantuan perniagaan. Aku time tu tak sedar helah si A, then jumpa lah di satu lokasi di sekitar ibu kota KL. Aku pelik sebab dia tak ajak jumpa di kedai makan tapi di satu bangunan...aku dah syak something....

Dari tangga aku dah dengar suara riuh rendah...dalam hati aku dah maki si A ni. Tapi aku dah termasuk dalam bilik bangunan tu, banyak la muka-muka yang menaruh harapan tinggi. Bukan ape, aku kesian sebab orang yang bercakap di depan ni budget bagus dan kaya...kekadang ade gak la speech camni "kenapa perlu berkerja sedangkan kita ada masa depan yang cerah di XXX"...

At the end lepas speech, macam biasa la diorg letak aku kat satu meja...ade 6 orang camtu....aku sorang je yang belum join dalam MLM tu...tapi aku puas hati sebab aku dapat debat ngan 6 orang kat meja tu..aku argue banyak benda kat diorang sampai diorg putar belit cerita dan macam biasa la suara taksub dari belakang....

Aku bagitau diaorg duit masuk dan keluar semasa join MLM yang budak2 taksub tak pernah calculate...orang MLM yang taksub cuma tahu duit hasil dari sistem MLM tu dan bukannya kira duit yang kena keluar balik. Contoh la, si A ajak aku ke kajang katanya ada perniagaan baik (padahal MLM), aku kena spend RM20 duit minyak, RM5 duit tol, RM10 makan2 bila lepak sana. Aku kena spend RM35 time tu. Hari tu aku tak masuk sebab takde duit, so lusa diorang ajak lagi aku kena spend RM35 lagi + RM60 (keahlian) + RM250 (set barang MLM pakej) = RM345. Dalam sistem MLM tu sendiri ada bonus pairing la, bonus PV la dll. Sekiranya berjaya dapat bawak 2 orang layak dapat bonus pairing, contoh dapat RM100. Persoalan pertama, korang rase senang ke ajak orang spend masuk dalam MLM? Persoalan ke-2, aku dah kena spend sampai RM35 + RM345 - RM100 = - RM280. Anda masih lagi tidak untung walaupun dah bawak 2 orang, itu tak kira duit minyak dan lain2 mase nak ajak 2 orang tu lagi.

Ada banyak lagi nak aku hurai, tapi anda bole balas dalam comment. Apepun aku bagitau satu info kat korang....sebelum masuk MLM, sila check kat KPDNKK "Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan" sebab aku cek sendiri hampir 88% MLM yang diisytihar black listed, fraud dan bankrup. Berhati-hati dan jangan terpedaya janji manis orang atas. Kalo korang degil gak, silakan....
