Si parte, finalmente sono riuscito a trovare il tempo di organizzare il tour e quindi sicuramente nei prossimi giorni continuerò ad aggiornare il blog tappa dopo tappa. Il mio Piaggio PD808 è pronto e lucido per la grande occasione ma purtroppo questa mattina a Milano Linate piove, anche se in modo molto leggero. Fatti i dovuti controlli decolliamo dopo il traffico intenso che oggi c'è a Linate e passiamo subito la perturbazione che copre il capoluogo lombardo.&lt;br /&gt;

Sono giorni che studio i manuali del PD-808, faccio continui decolli e atterraggi e ormai ho preso una certa dimestichezza con le operazioni necessarie, il mio aereo richiede procedure precise ed essendo molto veloce non si può perdere la concentrazione, inoltre è un aereo di vecchia concezione, questo forse è l'aspetto che mi esalta di più, volare con i soli strumenti a disposizione come una volta, niente GPS o planner che ti indicano dove sei. Perfino il pilota automatico è spartano, ma questo aggiunge sicuramente pepe alla missione. Ho appena effettuato l'ispezione esterna, tutto regolare, ho applicato nei giorni scorsi lo stemma di Milano sul fianco del portellone pronto ad ospitare quello di Barcellona, prossima tappa del tour. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Ultimate le operazioni pre-volo chiedo l'autorizzazione al rullaggio, la giornata è perfetta oggi a Linate, solo qualche nuvola a bassa quota dopo la neve dei giorni scorsi, imbocco il raccordo mi porterà sulla 36R e attendo l'atterraggio di un Cessna e di un CRJ-200. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Scriverò un diario che pubblicherò puntualmente sul blog della compagnia e magari diventerà un ebook da scaricare, compatibilmente con gli impegni di lavoro e di MpSav. Quando si pensa ad un viaggio simile ci sono mille cose da pianificare naturalmente, ma le prime due più importanti probabilmente sono la scelta del velivolo e delle tappe da percorrere. Qualche giorno fa ho cominciato a pensare quale aereo sarebbe stato il mio compagno di viaggio fino a che ad un certo punto non mi è tornato in mente un bellissimo addons free che avevo visto e provato qualche tempo prima. Forse uno dei migliori prodotti free presenti nel panorama al momento, si tratta del Piaggio PD-808 di Mario Noriega. Mi è sembrato subito perfetto, veloce e maneggevole, con un'autonomia da liner, un bireattore con un sacco di spazio per passeggeri e bagagli. Perfetto è la parola giusta, in questo modo potrò permettermi di coprire lunghe distanze in poche ore potendo cosi creare tappe gestibili nel poco tempo a disposizione durante la settimana. Bene, comincio subito a pensare ad una livrea dinamica ed appropriata per il mio viaggio ma capisco poco dopo che il PD-808 è troppo bello con la livrea del 14° Stormo di Pratica di Mare, bianco e argento con bande arancioni fluorescenti, è uno spettacolo per gli occhi. Decido allora di personalizzarlo soltanto aggiungendo qualche scritta “Europe Tour 2010”, il logo sulla coda. Vorrei personalizzare ancora di più il mio compagno e decido così di aggiungere, nella parte vicino al portellone di entrata, gli stemmi delle città in cui atterreremo, di volta in volta. Non è una cosa originalissima ma può funzionare ed è molto goliardica, secondo me. Aggiungerà un po' di realismo al tutto. Selezionare le tappe non è stato difficile avendo a disposizione una simile macchina volante, ho stampato una mappa dell'Europa ed ho cominciato ad abbozzare una linea di volo. Partirò naturalmente da Milano Linate, sede dell'hub MpSav e punterò su Genova, tutta la Costa Azzurra e via fino a Barcellona. Poi verso Sud passando da Madrid verso lo stretto di Gibilterra per poi salire in Portogallo. Poi la Francia del Nord, l'Irlanda, il Regno Unito, la Scandinavia, la Germania, Capo Nord, Polonia, Repubblica Ceca, Ungheria, Romania, Turchia, Grecia, Malta e poi su tutta la nostra bella penisola fino a Milano. Sarà comunque un lungo viaggio, non mi sono dato una tempistica precisa. Ogni tappa va preparata con cura, la pianificazione è molto importante e il tutto và corredato dalla ricerca dei migliori scenari disponibili per ogni zona. Lentamente la mia cartella di FS si moltiplicherà a dismisura. Bene, questo è solo l'inizio dell'avventura, ci divertiremo assieme, ci saranno aneddoti, fotografie, inconvenienti (non mancano mai...) e conosceremo anche qualche aspetto curioso dei paesi che incontreremo. Si tratta di Plan-G della britannica TA Software. E' un flight planner totalmente interfacciabile con il nostro simulatore con la peculiarità di sfruttare le mappe di Google donando quindi un aspetto grafico del tutto innovativo per un planner. Potremo pianificare i nostri voli VFR come non mai, il programma sfrutta naturalmente tutti i tools di Google e contiene all'interno la classica icona di connessione con FS. Potremo inoltre aggiungere waypoint, siano essi punti di riporto o punti di interesse locale, esp&lt;/div&gt;&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;ortare i piani di volo e perfino importare i classici piani generati da FS per una visualizzazione completa con tanto di cartografia. &lt;/div&gt;Una volta connessi vedremo naturalmente il nostro aereo muoversi sulle mappe lunga la rotta stabilita, visualizzare il traffico attorno a noi, e importare e visualizzare il meteo.&lt;br /&gt;

L’aereo è il 20° consegnato ed è configurato con 538 posti, dei quali 449 in classe turistica e nove in prima. I motori sono Engine Alliance GP7200. L’entrata in servizio di linea è prevista per il 20-21 novembre sulla rotta &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Parigi-New York. La flotta A380 - segnala il costruttore in una nota - ha totalizzato sinora 7.900 voli di linea per oltre 75.000 ore di volo, trasportando oltre 2,5 milioni di passeggeri. La cifra - osserva Dedalonews - è pari a circa 315 passeggeri per volo, con un fattore di riempimento medio intorno al 60%.&lt;br /&gt;

Come avrete notato già per il Cessna C172, la livrea per FSX è stata completamente rinnovata, nuove grafiche quindi per la nuova Mpsav. Bene, per un luogo comune in Italia le vacanze si fanno ad Agosto, quindi riparte l'attività di MPSAV a pieno ritmo, anche se non ci siamo mai fermati in effetti grazie al supporto del nostro database interattivo. MPSAV procede un pò a rilento ultimamente, ormai orientata allo sviluppo su FSX, data anche l'iscrizione di molti neofiti che impareranno a volare su FSX. Purtroppo come tutti sappiamo l'avvento del nuovo simulatore ha fatto allontanare un pò di vecchi simmers dalla simulazione per un pò in attesa che venissero sviluppati nuovi addon compatibili.&lt;br /&gt;La situazione è ancora in stallo, nonostante i moltissimi addon presenti ci sono ancora molti dubbi, soprattutto per le prestazioni grafiche. Personalmente ho utilizzato vari accorgimenti e ormai volo su FSX come volavo su FS2004, a parte gli scenari aeroportuali che ancora mancano. Comunque c'è una grande notizia per tutti voi, vi dice nulla il progetto SIRX2009? Come ormai saprete ho un rapporto diretto con questo aeroporto che negli ultimi due anni sta subendo un'importante trasformazione. Grazie agli strumenti messi a disposizione dai programmatori e alla potenza di FSX si può notare come LIAF stia raggiungendo un grado di qualità davvero elevata. L'immagine qui sopra è un frame di FSX su cui stavo volando per testare il nuovo scenario. Grande la mia stessa soddisfazione nel sorvolare le sue coordinate e per un attimo dimenticare di essere nel simulatore. Strategica certo è anche la sua posizione, nel verde della "conca" folignate, appena fuori città e contornato di campi. Attorno agli hangar e ai box dell'Aeroclub sono state applicate le reali texture quindi possiamo notare come ad esempio è ben visibile e molto realistico anche il campo per le prove della quintana e lo spazio di fronte a Sterpete con i container senza dimenticare anche il piccolo club degli aeromodelli. Un altro passo avanti.
