Quando Senna foi confirmado na equipe Williams para a temporada de 1994, jornalistas, especialistas e fãs do esporte, afirmavam em uníssono: " O campeonato estava liquidado". Afinal de contas, o melhor piloto estaria sentado no melhor carro.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Só que não foi bem assim. Na pré-temporada, com o banimento dos sistemas eletrônicos decretado pela FIA, com o aval de todas as equipes, o carro da Williams mostrava que ainda continuava muito rápido, porém difícil de guiar.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
O próprio Senna, declarou diversas vezes que sem os auxilios eletrônicos (&lt;i&gt;suspensão ativa, controle de tração,ABS...)&lt;/i&gt;, o modelo havia se tornado arisco e instável.&amp;nbsp;A superioridade da Williams, havia caido por terra...&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Senna sabia que teria uma temporada dificil pela frente. O compromisso assumido com patrocinadores, e toda a expectativa criada, gerava uma enorme pressão.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
O campeonato teve inicio no Brasil, em Interlagos. Senna cravou a pole. Na corrida, Ayrton largou bem e assumiu a ponta - a vitória parecia certa...&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mas o reabastecimento estava de volta, e após a rodada de pitstops, a liderança passou para as mãos de Michael Schumacher, na 21ª volta.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Senna ainda lutou muito para reduzir a diferença, e quando parecia que conseguiria chegar na Benetton do alemão, rodou na Junção, ficou preso na zebra e abandonou a corrida, na 55ª volta.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Era a última vez que Senna guiaria em Interlagos...&lt;br /&gt;

O lançamento do novo modelo está marcado para amanhã, mas sabe como é...&lt;br /&gt;

O novo modelo, CT -01, revela a tendência que deverá ser adotada pelas equipes para atender a mudança no regulamento que determina um rebaixamento na altura do bico em 7,5 cm - em prol da segurança.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Desse modo, a solução foi adotar esse bico de pato ou quem sabe de ornitorrinco. Que por sinal, é horrivel. Pra não dizer outra coisa.&lt;br /&gt;

Sempre que encontro imagens assim, volto no tempo...começo a lembrar de uma F1 diferente, onde as máquinas eram mais coloridas e não dependiam tanto da eletrônica e da aerodinâmica como nos dias atuais...&lt;br /&gt;

Já se foi o tempo em que Frank Williams escolhia a dedo quem teria o privilégio de guiar suas máquinas. Alugar seus carros para pilotos pagantes então, era algo inimaginável alguns anos atrás...&lt;br /&gt;

Só que os tempos mudaram. A tradicional escuderia de Grove, vive um circulo vicioso que parece não ter mais fim - sem bons resultados não consegue manter bons patrocinadores, e sem bons patrocinadores não consegue bons resultados...&lt;br /&gt;

Atualmente o grande suporte da equipe Williams é a PDVSA ( p&lt;i&gt;etrolífera estatal da Venezuela&lt;/i&gt;). Estima-se que a empresa venezuelana pague algo em torno de &amp;nbsp;29 milhões de euros anuais, aos cofres de Grove. Tudo isso, para que Pastor Maldonado possa desfilar todo seu talento na categoria.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mas não pense que Bruno Senna ficou com a outra vaga somente pelo seu potencial. Nada disso. O primeiro-sobrinho, garantiu o assento graças ao patrocinio levantado - aproximadamente 18 milhões de euros.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
E para completar, ainda tem o novato Valtteri Bottas. Outro que levou mais algumas malas de dinheiro para &amp;nbsp;a escuderia e, assim garantiu a vaga de terceiro piloto da Williams, com direito a testar pela equipe em 15 treinos livres de sexta-feiras. Segundo consta, o novato finlandes será preparado para assumir a titularidade em 2013.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Hoje essa é a realidade da tradicional escuderia inglesa - pilotos inexperientes e pagantes, é fato.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ainda que a equipe acredite ser possivel retornar ao Q3 nessa temporada e pontuar com regularidade, muitos especialistas vêem a inexperiência dos pilotos como um problema.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Apesar de tudo, a cada inicio de temporada as expectativas sempre se renovam. Ainda mais agora, que a parceria com Renault para o fornecimento de motores foi retomada.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mas é bom que se diga, a tarefa da Williams será duríssima. Se a equipe conseguir a colocar seus carros entre os dez melhores e pontuar com regularidade, já será um feito e tanto, pode acreditar.&lt;br /&gt;

Kimi Raikkonen voltou a guiar um F1. O finlandes realizou nesta segunda-feira, a primeira bateria de testes no circuito Ricardo Tormo, em Valência.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
O homem de gelo, pilotou o modelo de 2010 (R30) da "falecida" equipe Renault, agora denominada Lotus. Os testes que servem para a readaptação de Raikkonen à categoria e principalmente aos novos pneus produzidos pela Pirelli, deverão ter sequência amanhã.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Depois disso, o nórdico só voltará à labuta nos testes coletivos no inicio do próximo&amp;nbsp;mês, no circuito espanhol de Jerez de La Frontera. Obviamente, a bordo do novo modelo da equipe - R32&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
O que esperar desse retorno? Ainda não é possivel dizer absolutamente nada. Mas uma coisa é certa, a readaptação não é assim tão simples, leva um tempo.&lt;br /&gt;

A mais nova &lt;i&gt;treta da&lt;/i&gt;&amp;nbsp;F1, pelo visto morreu na casca. A engenhoca inventada pela equipe Lotus que permite regular a altura do bólido durante a frenagem, conhecido como &lt;i&gt;ride-height, &lt;/i&gt;está proibida.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A FIA voltou atrás em sua decisão inicial, e acabou por considerar o dispositivo ilegal. Desse modo, as equipes foram informadas oficialmente sobre a decisão.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Muitas escuderias trabalhavam a todo vapor no desenvolvimento do sistema, entre elas a Ferrari. Os italianos já estavam num estágio avançado de desenvolvimento...&lt;br /&gt;

O sistema foi utilizado pela primeira vez no ano passado pela equipe Lotus, durante os testes para jovens pilotos em Abu Dhabi. A expectativa inicial, indicava que o sistema seria considerado legal, uma vez que se tratava de um sistema mecânico, e não eletrônico.&lt;br /&gt;

Segundo o breve comunicado da montadora, a decisão foi tomada analisando todo o contexto do difícil momento econômico enfrentado pela Europa. Ou seja, os franceses querem enxugar o orçamento, concentrando todo o esforço nas vendas para esse ano.&lt;br /&gt;

A crise no velho continente vem abalando estruturas e economias que até então, pareciam sólidas. E pelo andar da carruagem, a recuperação está longe de acontecer. Não será surpresa o surgimento de novas "vitimas" no esporte.&lt;br /&gt;

Rubens Gonçalves Barrichello, bem ou mal, escreveu sua história na F1. Foram 19 temporadas com 326 GPs disputados e apenas 11 vitórias.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Sua carreira foi marcada por altos e baixos. Nesse periodo o piloto brasileiro teve nas mãos alguns bons carros, e outros nem tanto.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
É preciso reconhecer, que Barrichello realizou algumas corridas memoráveis, como a primeira vitória em Hockenheim, na Alemanha, por exemplo.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Por outro lado, sua carreira foi marcada por uma série de declarações infelizes, mas o pior de tudo, foi ter entrado na onda da &lt;i&gt;Vênus Platinada&lt;/i&gt;&amp;nbsp;e, aceitado assumir um papel que não era seu, logo após a morte de Ayrton Senna.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A emissora oficial, criou então uma expectativa não realista dos resultados que Barrichello conquistaria na categoria. Tudo porque, sem a possibilidade de um brasileirinho vencer, a audiência não alavancaria, e com audiência baixa, as cotas de patrocinio não teriam o mesmo valor...&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
No Brasil, a esmagadora maioria das pessoas toma conhecimento da F1, somente através da Vênus Platinada, a emissora oficial, é fato. E convenhamos, é muita manipulação e uma infinidade de bobagens juntas.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ao longo de sua carreira, arriscaria dizer que a única vez que Barrichello teve condições de lutar realmente por um campeonato foi em 2009 na equipe BrawnGP.&amp;nbsp;Mas, ele não conseguiu aproveitar a oportunidade.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A meu ver, essa foi a grande chance, e como não deu, deveria ter dado adeus a F1 - teria deixado a categoria no momento oportuno - sairia por cima.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp;Pilotar esse carro foi o grande desejo de Ayrton, realizado em 1994. Afinal de contas, era a máquina dos sonhos de qualquer piloto - a equipe Williams havia vencido o campeonato nos dois anos anteriores...&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mas infelizmente foram apenas&lt;strike&gt; quatro&lt;/strike&gt;&amp;nbsp;três corridas...uma fatalidade - o trágico acidente na curva Tamburello, interrompeu a carreira de um dos melhores pilotos de todos os tempos.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Agora chegou a vez do &lt;i&gt;primeiro-sobrinho&lt;/i&gt; fazer parte da história dessa querida escuderia inglesa.&amp;nbsp;Mas é bom que a pachecada fique esperta, porque Bruno não é o tio, e a equipe não é mais aquela de outrora.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Bruno terá sua chance derradeira na categoria, é verdade, mas não esperem milagre. Se tudo correr bem, a equipe planeja voltar a colocar seus carros entre os dez mais rápidos. O que não será nada fácil, diga-se.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Supondo que isso aconteça, Bruno precisará estar lá com regularidade, tanto em treinos quanto nas corridas.&amp;nbsp;A referência de Bruno será o parceiro de equipe, Pastor Maldonado.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Será mais um ano dificil para a Williams. Ainda que a equipe tenha refeito a parceria com a Renault, e conte agora com os motores franceses, as coisas não mudam num passe de mágica. Existe um longo caminho a percorrer...&lt;br /&gt;

Após a confirmação do primeiro-sobrinho como piloto titular da equipe Williams para 2012, surge a noticia que seu antigo parceiro de Lotus, Vitaly Petrov, também deverá ser confirmado no grid, muito em breve.&lt;br /&gt;

Segundo informações da midia européia, o piloto russo ocupará a vaga de Jarno Trulli, na Caterham. Ainda que Trulli garanta ter uma extensão de contrato assinada para 2012, a grana levada pelo russo falou mais alto.&lt;br /&gt;
