You can now add Google sitemap to your blogger.com account and increase your chances of being indexed in Google search engine result. You can add a Sitemap to your account to give Google more information about the pages in your site to help Google crawl them more effectively.

Step # 1: Login to sitemap account

At the top of screen you will see option to add site. Just paste URL of your blog (for example http://blogformakingmoney.blogspot.com/)

Click on Ok button. Next you will get confirmation message. Your site has been added to your account.

Step # 2: Now you need to verify your ownership of blog to view detailed statistics. Click on verify link. Google offers two methods of verification. You can either upload an HTML file with a name we specify (which is not possible with Google Blogger account), or you can add a META tag to your site’s index file. Adding META tag via template code is possible so just select Add a META tag from drop down menu:

It will generate code for you, copy the meta tag and paste it into your blogger.com template section).

Step # 3: Go to your blogger.com and login to your account. Goto your blog > Click on Template
Paste the META tag code after section:

Click on Save Template changes button

Click on Republish Index only button > Wait for few seconds so that your blog being published successfully.

Step # 4: Now goto sitemap account and click the box that read as follows:

I’ve added the META tag in the home page of http://blogformakingmoney.blogspot.com/. Click on Verify button.

Step # 5: Now your site is added to sitemap account and verification is done. Next you need to add actual sitemap url. Since blogger.com account don't allow you to create a text file or anything else you need to add your site feed (ATOM xml) file as a site map. Click on add a sitemap link:

Step # 6: You can add a Sitemap to your account to provide Google additional information about about your blog. Google will process your Sitemap and provide information on any errors in the Sitemaps tab as well your sitemap will be downloaded everyday to index your blog fast.
Select type as : Add General Web sitemap

Now you need to add Atom 0.3 feeds. Generally, you would use this format only if your site already has a syndication feed and this is the only way to add sitemap to your blogger.com account.

Paste url of your Atom feed: For example http://blogformakingmoney.blogspot.com/atom.xml and click on Add Web sitemap:

Update: If you are using a new blogger beta system, use http://yourblogname.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/full as a feed url.

You will get confirmation:
You have added a Sitemap to http://cyberciti.blogspot.com/. Reports may take several hours to update. Thank you for your patience!

And you are done and your blog will be now index very fast (depend upon your posting and content).

Cafepress allows you to run a store full of products with your own designs such as mugs and shirts and will even print books with your own content which you can then sell for a profit. All you need to do is create a design and you can upload it to the website and preview it on your products. The products that Cafepress offer are sold at a standard price which you can then add to. Whatever the difference in price after adding to it will be your profit.

Paid Reviews

A paid review is where you may get contacted by another blogger or website owner with a request for you to write a review and post it on your blog for a one time payment. This income stream relies quite a lot on the status of the blogger. If you are a new blogger then you shouldn't expect to get results like this until further down the line when you have established yourself better.

Paid Writing

This wouldn't be a direct revenue stream from your blog but it would more than likely be your blog that would get you noticed for your writing skills. A skilled writer may find the content on their blog enticing other bloggers to request a paid post for their own blog.

Affiliate Marketing

It is difficult to succeed in affiliate marketing as it requires quite a bit of knowledge in general marketing in order to do well. Running affiliate ads on your blog is easy and you could probably expect to make a few dollars here and there but to make the big money will take quite a bit of time, research and experience. The biggest affiliate program to date is probably the one which Amazon run but there are so many companies now that offer affiliate programs that you can be sure to find a product that you can promote through your blog. Amazon currently offers commission of around 4% on most products but the more expensive products such as electronics tend to have a set commission. If your main purpose of blogging is to generate an income then be sure to look into affiliate marketing. You should however be prepared for some hard work if you want to make a decent reliable profit from it.

Donations

One of my favorites. I haven't placed a donation link on my primary blog just yet but i will be doing so in the near future as soon as i start to offer free wordpress plugins and templates. Donations tend to bring in more on blogs and sites that offer free services such as website templates, blog themes, Wordpress plugins, scripts, free graphics, sounds - anything that you would expect to cost a fair amount of money that is offered for free has a greater chance of generating a donation from a happy customer. The reason why free services tend to work the best is that a lot of the time someone may be looking for a plugin or a script to gain certain functionality from their own website but can't afford to hire a professional to do it for them. If they find what they are looking for for free on your website they may feel inclined to send you a donation as a thank you!

Don't keep all your eggs in one basket and NEVER give up if something isn't working out as you'd hoped it would. A lot of blogs fail simply because of the fact that the blogger has become disheartened by their results.

I urge you to experiment with any form of potential income stream you can lay your hands on. If something doesn't perform well then you can always take it down and try out something else in its place. How To Immediately Increase Your Adsense Clicks

Would you like to make one tiny addition to your pages and dramatically increase your AdSense clicks -- perhaps as much as threefold?

It's laughingly simple, yet the effect can be immediate.

All you need is to get some colorful digital photographs, either from your own stock or from a royalty-free web site. Then using a graphics program, such, as Real Draw PRO or Photoshop, create a strip of four rectangular photographs with a space in between each. The overall size of the strip should be 728 pixels wide by about 108 pixels deep.

The content of the pictures should be relevant to the content of your web site. In order not to violate Google's Terms Of Service, you should avoid pictures that are animated, advertisements or induce the visitor to click on the AdSense ads.

The background color should exactly match the color of your AdSense pages. It helps if you can place a narrow blue border around the individual photo (but not around the entire strip). This arrangement is ideal for a page containing an article and the best position within the page for the picture strip is at the top of the page, immediately below the page headline, but above the start of the body text.

Once you have done this, go to your Google AdSense advert codes and select the one for leaderboard, which is 728 pixels wide by 90 pixels deep. If the 728 pixel width sounds vaguely familiar, it's the exact size of the width of your picture strip. Make sure you delete Google's border code before pasting your leaderboard code under the picture strip, save the page and load it to your server and start enjoying up to three times the clicks on that style of ad.

If you already have the maximum number of three AdSense blocks on the pages, where you insert this picture strip/leaderboard combo, do be sure to delete one of the existing ad groups, so you don't violate Google's Terms Of Service, which only allow three ad blocks per page.
