Thank you for the kind comment. Always gratifying when a post is appreciated by someone other than just myself.

No worries about the Latin (and I suspect that mine isn't any better than yours). I should rewrite the "Four Keeps" sometime to make it clearer that abiding by the first three rules excuses one completely from the fourth.

It took me a second read before I noticed you wrote "indecent". Ha! May we all be so fortunate to be escorted out of such company!

Please forgive the use of English; I'm afraid I'm not Latinate enough to write more than a simple declarative sentence ("Catullus Lesbiam amat") without extensive work.

I actually wish you could ask that question, though I'm afraid it might get you escorted out of the company of indecent men and women.

Former GOP voter here - - I voted Democrat yesterday. I did a post about how the GOP couldn't rally their base, because their base is too small to swing national elections, at this point. They've turned away their moderates and didn't do anything to even make the Independents curious. A Look At Why

Good to have you come by. The folks over at thegoliard.net and I chatted a bit the last time I was in the blogging game; I threw some recommendations the Bookwoman's way but don't know whether she ever read them.

From their letters to America West, it would seem that the thegoliard.net people had an even worse time on that outfit than I did, the last time I gave it a try (about seven years ago now). Maybe US Airways will straighten them out now that they've merged. USAir may not have the very best reputation either, but I've always had good luck with them (knock on aluminum).
