One of my favorite things to do is photograph sunsets. Living in Arizona has given me some really great opportunities since there's an awesome sunset almost every day, and ever since I got my Nikon D70 a few months ago I've started developing a pretty good collection.

Granite Hills Retreat and Conference Center asked me to make another promotional video for them this year (here's last years video). I was really excited to get a good chance to experiment with the Optical Flares plugin by Video Copilot (I always did like a good lens flare... or 5)

It was update time. The old design really didn't keep up with trends, and I can't really remember what I was thinking (probably trying to figure some way of incorporating a huge image). New site is minimalistic and is much more streamlined, so it should load much faster.

I've realized that I need to make some order to my blog, so what I've decided to do is each week (probably Friday) I'll share and discuss anything cool tech-wise that I've come across. This week I'll be going discussing a little bit about my new Halo: Reach Dreamscene, Auntie Dot, and the process that I went through to make that. I'll also me sharing a neat little CSS trick for the hover state of a background image that I re-remembered this week.

It happened again. I promised myself that I wouldn't let it happen, but it did. I neglected my blog. Again. This is actually my 5th Iteration of my personal website. It's seen visual overhauls and name changes, but that's not what kills them. What kills them is me not updating them ever. So that's why I'm rambling... because I don't really have anything to talk about.
