Another twitter tip I think I can lend is if you are trying to promote your business, web site, or service, like @blogoklahoma, setup a separate twitter account for your personal tweeting. @programwitch. It's not too hard to maintain and monitor multiple twitter accounts.

Thanks for the advice. I had not tried the auto-follow, so now I know not to even consider it. My instinct to deny "follow requests" from any one I don't have a personal acquaintance with, or recognize as a local personality was a good one. Thanks again for the help.

I've had my garden in for more than a month now and things are starting to look pretty good. I'm trying a new experiment. At least it is new to me. A friend told me to cut the bottom out of a 5 gallon bucket and put it over a potato plant then cover all but the top few leaves with dirt. My friend says that instead of a bunch of tops those leaves buried in the dirt will start turning into roots and more potatoes. He says the bucket will soon fill up with potatoes instead of leaves. I've only got one plant that is tall enough to do that yet but that one is almost ready to put the second bucket on top of the first one. At this rate, the plant could conceivably end up being maybe 3 or 4 buckets tall. I'm going to do that with some of my potato plants but not all of them until I see how well it works. If the buckets do fill up with potatoes I'll probably do that with all my potato plants next year. Should be fun if it works.
