Its been a long week, especially with the storms last night. But if I don't practice, how will I get better? I do have a few pops in there, sorry about that. Had my headset mic in the wrong spot. Also if there is a roaring sound behind my voice, that's the AC. I forgot to turn it off before I started recording.

I adjust my Audacity settings and saved it in stereo instead of converting it to mono. So did this one sound okay?

Thanks for all of your input - K.

I'm using Feedburner so I can use the headline generator. Also if I ever decide to move the podcast to another service, I won't need to tell everyone the new feed address. Just use Feedburners. If you have already subscribed to the libsyn feed, that's okay. I have no plans so far to use any other service.

If there is any interest on the part of newbies to become podcasters, how best to accomplish that?

As I off-handed remarked to Elmo, the Denver Area Podcasters group via MeetUp has had pretty good success. I think it’s because MeetUp is a bit of a lodestone to attract the attention of newbies and gurus alike. I suppose Ning or WetPaint could do similar, but for free.

Looks like Blog Oklahoma has pretty good google juice for oklahoma podcasting --as does Elmo. I’d recommend exploiting that as best you can. Maybe articles on each linking to a new site on Ning or WetPaint or whatever (oklahomapodcasters.com is avail).

In Denver we all just liked getting together to drink beer and talk about gear and technique.
