Aditi and Sunny chose Parliament and Makara Beach for their spectacular pre-wedding photoshoot, and Wellington delivered a stunning day! Wedding shoots on non-wedding days are a real plesure, allowing me to choose the ideal time of day for the best light, locations I know will work regardless of the travel time between them, and none of the time pressure of a wedding day – a brilliant option if you are keen to spend as much time with your guests on your wedding day as possible;-) All the best for the big day Aditi and Sunny!

Marcella and Ned had their wedding at beautiful Zealandia wildlife sanctuary, a natural oasis just a few minutes from Wellington’s CBD, and a fabulous wedding venue. Such a beautiful wedding, with incredible heartfelt vows, stunning weather, and a brilliant wedding party, this was a dream wedding to photograph. As always, I will let the photos do the talking. Eleanor and Liam celebrated their beautiful wedding at Arcus in Te Horo, around 45 minutes from Wellington. It was my first time photographing a wedding at Arcus — and what a fantastic place to tie the knot.

The grounds are incredibly photogenic, with wide open space, natural textures, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes everyone feel instantly at ease. It’s very much my kind of venue — beautiful without being fussy, stylish without feeling staged.

Eleanor and Liam’s wedding party were an absolute joy to photograph. Warm, easygoing, and fully present, they made the day flow effortlessly from start to finish. The perfect wedding day.

Maia and Ryan’s wedding at The Lodge Pauatahanui was the kind of day you hope for — bright sunshine, blue skies, and a relaxed buzz from start to finish. Maia and Ryan were effortlessly themselves — lots of laughter, plenty of quiet in-between moments, and a ceremony filled with genuine emotion.

Their dog made a very sweet (and slightly scene-stealing) appearance, happily soaking up attention and adding even more personality to the day. The bridal party kept things fun and easygoing, bringing great energy without ever taking focus away from what mattered most.

Elyssa and Hunter’s wedding at Ohariu Farm, just outside Wellington, began with rain sweeping across the hills and low cloud hanging in the valleys. But like so many great Wellington wedding days, patience paid off. By the time guests arrived and the ceremony began, the rain had cleared, the skies opened, and Ohariu Farm showed off exactly why it’s one of my favourite wedding venues in the region. This joyful Wellington wedding between Chante and Luke began with their ceremony at Sacred Heart Cathedral, filled with emotion and joy. The historic, beautifully renovated setting created a meaningful start to the day, surrounded by close friends and family.

The reception at Zealandia offered a relaxed, nature-filled contrast. Native bush and birdlife framed the celebrations, setting the scene for memorable speeches, high-energy dancing, and a party that fully embraced the moment.

Kirsten and Jayden had their beautiful wedding at Aokautere Church in Palmerston North, followed by their reception at nearby Roseburn Park. A super early start meant we managed to avoid some of the day’s heat, which was turned up to full Summer following their morning wedding ceremony;-) It was a stunning day from start to finish, and such a pleasure to work with such a lovely group of people. Prior to their wedding ceremony, Tereza and Aaron had their first-look, followed by photos at Otari Wilton’s Bush. The native bush there is stunning, while also being calm and peaceful – the perfect place for a few quiet minutes before a wedding ceremony.

Their beautiful wedding ceremony took place at Hope Church Northern Hills. A magical celebration in front of (and involving!) family and friends, full of meaningful words and joyous singing.

 Cat and Theo’s winter wedding at Tarureka Estate was a dream—intimate, atmospheric, and full of heartfelt moments. Set against the backdrop of the Wairarapa countryside, the historic barn and cosy interiors were the perfect setting for a day filled with warmth and love, despite the chilly air outside.

The ceremony took place inside the beautifully restored barn, where soft fairy lights and rustic timber created a magical feel. The couple’s connection was so genuine—it made capturing their day a real joy.
