When asked about the NFL 2012-13 season, Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald expressed his frustrations playing for Arizona last year.

“It was the most frustrating season, or time, I’ve ever had,” Fitzgerald told Bruce Cooper of The Arizona Republic. “Professionally … or even in college, I’ve never had a year like that. It was tough mentally, physically it was tough, but it builds resolve. I know I never want to go through a season like that personally, or as a team, and I’m going to do everything in my power to not ever repeat that.”

Hands down, Larry Fitzgerald is one of the top three wide receivers in the NFL and probably one of the most professional athletes you will ever watch, but there’s only so much a veteran could take.

In 2012, the Arizona Cardinals continued to have one huge problem, the quarterback position. Not one QB was consistent enough to stay on the field, which proved to be very frustrating for Fitzgerald. A total of four quarterbacks played under center for the Cardinals last year (John Skelton, Kevin Kolb, Ryan Lindley, and Brian Hoyer).

Usually, all wide receivers in the league tend to be major “divas.” Larry Fitzgerald, on the other hand is cut from a different cloth and he’s someone that the Arizona Cardinals are very lucky to have.

Four quarterbacks? That’s just insane.

After the Chicago Bulls shocked the world by beating the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the NBA 2013 Semi-finals, many perceived the victory to be a huge accomplishment given the Bulls’ lack of depth on their roster.

Bulls’ star point guard Derrick Rose had missed the entire NBA regular season due to an ACL injury, however was cleared to play back in March, way before the NBA playoffs had started.

Unfortunately, Rose felt it still wasn’t time to return to his team and decided to wait until the playoffs to re-assess his status. Well, the playoffs came and there wasn’t any sign of “D-Rose.” Many fans criticized the star point guard for not playing with this team in the beginning of the playoffs. It got even worse when the Miami Heat eliminated the Chicago Bulls in five games in the semi-finals. Derrick Rose received a ton of backlash for not stepping out on the court to assist his team.

Until now, the so-called negative comments continue to pour in. It’s not surprising that other NBA players are now giving the criticisms.

According to the Washington Post, Bradley Beal had released some comments towards Derrick Rose. Was it a subliminal attack? You decide.

In an interview, Washington Wizards rookie guard Bradley Beal stated the following when he spoke with LaVar and Dukes on 106.7 – The Fan about the situation.

“That’s hard, because I’ve never experienced that injury,” Beal said. “And I know what type of injury that is, it’s possible it’s gonna happen again. Knock on wood. But at the same time, you might have to give it a go. If you’re practicing for two months and everybody in practice is saying you’re practicing well, I figure you gotta give it a shot in a game.”

“But it’s his decision. I can’t really have a say so in it. If he doesn’t feel he’s mentally confident to be able to go out there and help the team, I guess I can’t really blame him for it.”

When Beal was asked about his feelings if the same situation were to happen with the Wizards, the rookie was forced to admit that he would lose some respect for that player.

“A little bit. Yeah, I would,” he said. “The type of player he is, and the mentality and competitiveness that he has, I think he would have gave it a go. I don’t know what was holding him back. I think he’s scared it’s probably going to happen again and he won’t be the same. But you’re never the same after an injury. But you just have to fight through it and do something else to be able to impact the game. I’m not sure what it is he has to do. I really can’t speak for him.”

We don’t necessarily think Bradley Beal had intention to attack Derrick Rose, but the fact that it’s being considered as a criticism in the media won’t be well-accepted by Rose’s camp.

When the Chicago Bulls play the Washington Wizards next season, bet all your marbles that Derrick Rose will have this on his mind. It’s a blowout waiting to happen.

The latest joke on Chris Bosh is a knock on his pre-game ritual. It was said that prior to playing a game, Bosh happily enjoyed reading his Sports Illustrated. Wow.

The joke is about Chris Bosh being connected to Washington Wizards’ center Jason Collins. A few weeks back, Collins had announced that he was living a gay lifestyle and was the very first NBA player to “come out of the closet.”

Let’s make this perfectly clear, there is nothing wrong with being gay, but after seeing this image and saw that it was linked to Chris Bosh, we didn’t have any choice but to crack a smile.

It’s been well documented that fans love to poke fun at Miami Heat’s forward/center Chris Bosh. Whether it’s Bosh being called an “ostrich-look alike” or being compared to a dinosaur, the funny remarks just keep coming in.

There have been plenty of images and GIFs of Chris Bosh on the Internet, the “Champagne Shower” as an example, that present the 6’11 big man to be suspect, hence the connection.

Usually, you often see Tiger Woods calm and collected. Due to the annual Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Tiger had visited New York City with new girlfriend and professional alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn.

The two “lovebirds” were seen at the Met Gala Afterparty having a lot of fun, maybe too much.

According to US Magazine, Tiger Woods was very “tipsy” and was apparently stumbling everywhere.

“At one point in the evening, the once-divorced golfer got up to dance awkwardly, bopping from side to side and grabbing Vonn’s butt affectionately as she giggled. When it was time to go, around 2 a.m., a seemingly tipsy Woods fell while walking up a small flight of stairs — and didn’t move from the spot until Vonn, clenching her teeth and looking embarrassed, helped him up and guided him (swaying a bit as he walked) to the exit, according to a witness.”

Courtesies of The Superficial, here are some photos of Tiger Woods leaving the event appearing drunk out of his mind. You go Tiger!

New York Knicks’ star power forward/center Amar’e Stoudemire had been battling knee and back injuries for the last couple of years.

After accepting a bench role this season in where Stoudemire was given the responsibility to lead the Knicks’ second team, “STAT” as many fans like to call him was taking advantage of his minutes. Amar’e Stoudemire, prior to his knee injury in March that sidelined the 10-year NBA veteran for six weeks played very well in 29 games off the bench. Amar’e Stoudemire averaged 14.2 points and 5.0 rebounds during that time.

After the knee surgery this past March, many fans questioned if Stoudemire will return the same player this year. We haven’t heard much of “STAT” lately until now.

According to Jonah Ballow’s Twitter account, the Knicks’ website content creator had mentioned that Amar’e Stoudemire is already participating in half court scrimmages.

Amar’e Stoudemire looks to return in Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers in the 2013 Eastern Conference Semifinals. According to Knicks’ coach Mike Woodson, Stoudemire would immediately become a valuable asset and will be one of the most used players for the stretch run.

When Stoudemire returns, it’s going to very interesting to see how coach Mike Woodson uses his big men. Nonetheless, it’s a good problem to have. The key to success is the bench in the playoffs… the deeper, the better.

Early this year, Floyd Mayweather announced that he was going to leave long-time partner HBO to join forces with Showtime Networks Inc. and CBS on a deal consisting of over $200 million dollars.

By far, this record-breaking contract was the richest individual athlete deal in sports. The terms of the deal would bring Floyd Mayweather Jr. to the ring for six fights for over a 30-month time period. The first fight would be against Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero on May 4, 2013.

Last night was Mayweather’s first fight in almost a year and similar to many of his battles, the fight with Guerrero was a complete “cakewalk.”

If you didn’t get a chance to watch the fight, you surely didn’t miss much as Mayweather, with the exception of possibly the first two rounds, taught the 30-year-old Guerrero a thing or two about the sport of boxing.

This was the first fight after so many years that Roger Mayweather (Floyd’s uncle and trainer) was not present in the champion’s corner. Yet, it didn’t change the game plan at all. Floyd Mayweather Jr. at 36-years-old still remained flawless and clearly was too quick for Robert Guerrero.

After the first two rounds in which Guerrero seemed to be dictating the fight by throwing punches, that concept slowly disappeared as Mayweather began to dissect his opponent. By the third round, Floyd Mayweather was in complete control throwing his straight right hand and countering with his lead right. The right hand was basically “Money” throughout the entire fight.

If there were one round we would give to Robert Guerrero, it would most likely be the 9th. Guerrero showed some guts by continuing to bring the fight to Mayweather and was hands down the “Ghost’s” best round. Even then, it wasn’t enough to win the point over Mayweather.

By the end of the 12th round, Floyd Mayweather had landed 195 out of 476 punches (41%), while Guerrero managed to only land 113 out of 581 punches thrown (20%).

Easily, Floyd Mayweather had won in unanimous decision and still remained the Welterweight champion.

After the fight in an interview, Floyd Mayweather was asked if we would be willing to fight the young Mexican Canelo Alvarez in September for his second fight. The champion quickly stated:

“We don’t know who we’re going to fight right now,” said Mayweather. “Let me go home and rest up first. Tonight, I had a good tough battle with Robert Guerrero, he was a true champion at heart, he came out here and gave it his best, I gave it my best… it was blood, sweat and tears tonight, what else could I say.”

When interviewing Robert Guerrero, the 30-year-old mentioned how good Mayweather was and praised Jesus Christ for giving him the opportunity to fight in front of all the fans.

In short, Floyd Mayweather Jr. did what he came out to do, to completely demolish and “outbox” his opponent. With the victory, Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. remains undefeated with a record of 44-0.

On the night the Miami Heat completed the playoff series sweep against the Milwaukee Bucks last Sunday, TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager, who was working the entire series was found sleeping in a hotel lobby.

A few college kids who happened to see Craig Sager decided to mess around and shoot pictures while Sager caught some “shut-eye.” It was a funny moment and after Sager had woken up, the comical reporter felt the need to regulate the kids that interrupted his sleep. Hilarious!

We now firmly believe that wherever you see Craig Sager, he will always be wearing something weird. That sweater has to go ASAP!

On Wednesday night, with Boston facing elimination in Game 5 of the NBA 2013 Playoffs, the veteran Celtics managed to come away with the needed victory. At Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks, the Celtics pulled it out with the score of 92-86.

Throughout the entire game, the Celtics seemed poised and were focused on taking the series back to TD Bank Garden for another deciding game (Game 6). At the end of the game, Celtics’ shooting guard Jordan Crawford, in lieu of having good sportsmanship, decided to mock Knicks’ star Carmelo Anthony by uttering disrespectful words about Anthony’s wife, LaLa Vazquez Anthony.

There was a slight skirmish after the statements were said, but nothing major occurred.

What exactly did Jordan Crawford say to Carmelo Anthony? If you were to read Crawford’s lips, the Celtics’ guard seemed to have said, “That Motherf*cker f*cked yo’ wife.”

Crawford simply was trying to bring back the altercation that occurred between Celtics’ center Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony in the regular season. Garnett had also spoke about Carmelo Anthony’s wife, LaLa.

Celtics’ coach Doc Rivers didn’t play Jordan Crawford at all in Game 5, which is even funnier. What’s interesting is that according to Crawford, all he was doing was responding.

“I would never talk trash about that mans (Carmelo Anthony) wife. I don’t know him, said Crawford.” “All I did was respond!”

While this wasn’t the most dramatic story in the world, Carmelo Anthony’s wife decided to also join the conversation by taking a shot at Jordan Crawford herself. LaLa poked fun at the fact that Jordan Crawford didn’t see one minute on the court.

In LaLa’s words, “Try again. You on the bench for a reason.”

All we have to say is, we will definitely be tuning into Game 6. Fireworks are sure to happen with everything on the line.

When LeBron James decided to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and head to South Beach to play with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, there was complete chaos. Many fans labeled “King James” as a “follower” and a star athlete that wanted to take the easy route to get to the championship.

During that time, LeBron James wasn’t the most popular. Cleveland fans were burning every James jersey there was and many people in Akron, Ohio… which let’s not forget is LeBron James’ hometown, wanted nothing to do with the so-called “sell-out.”

Call it what you want, but after only two years with the Miami Heat, LeBron James’ decision finally helped him win a ring for the first time in his career.

From the day LeBron James made his decision in 2010, he instantly changed the landscape of two NBA franchises, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat.

Just how important exactly was LeBron James to both teams? In just one year (2010-2011) of having the “King”, the Miami Heat franchise increased in value of about $61 million dollars. The Cleveland Cavaliers, on the other hand, saw a major decrease from being worth $476 million to an astonishing $355 million dollars.

That explains why Cavaliers’ owner Dan Gilbert had so much to say in his shocking public letter addressing LeBron James in 2010. After breaking down the numbers, we would be crying too Dan.

From every phase of the business, LeBron James helped Miami Heat’s value increase with TV ratings, nationally televised games, attendance, ticket sales, you name it.

Given all LeBron James has done, the “King” still isn’t the #1 highest-paid NBA athlete, which brings up the question, “should LeBron James be rewarded with more money due to the impact he has had on the game, the team, and the overall fanbase?”

Below is an infographic detailing the complete dynamic of “King James” to both the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat from 2010 to 2011.

The numbers are amazing.

Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder fan base have to be feeling very distraught right now. In Game 2 of the first-round against the Rockets, Thunder’s three-year NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook had injured his left knee and surprisingly will now be done for the season.

According to Mark D. Smith via USA TODAY, the young Westbrook had already undergone surgery on his knee to repair what is claimed to be a torn lateral meniscus. Due to the injury, Russell Westbrook will miss the entire NBA 2013 playoffs.

“Although we are of course disappointed that Russell will be unable to return to the floor with his teammates this season, the opportunity to repair the meniscus as opposed to remove it was the best possible scenario for Russell’s long term health as a player and person,” Thunder GM Sam Presti said in the release. “Russell’s health and well being are obviously our No. 1 priority through this process and today’s procedure helped solidify our belief that Russell will have many productive years of basketball in his future.”

Instantly, this makes the Miami Heat’s bid for a second consecutive NBA championship even more inevitable. The doors to the Western Conference have just opened tremendously and the race to the NBA Finals just got even more interesting.

For the first time in years, Thunder’s leading star Kevin Durant will be playing without his main man and close friend, Russell Westbrook. Westbrook hadn’t missed an NBA game since the Oklahoma City Thunder was called the Seattle Supersonics. For the Thunder, to say that the current scenario would be very different is an understatement.

There will be a lot of hours of rehabbing for Westbrook. You know what that means; it’s time to gamble online, Intertopscasino.com. What? Are we the only ones that play casino games when there’s nothing else to do at home? Anyway, let’s hope “Russ” is able to bounce back strong. The NBA surely needs his star power.
