În prezent sunt derulate procedurile de selectare a firmei care va proiecta şi executa reparaţiile corpului navei, ce vor costa 1,4 milioane lei, fiind finanţate de Ministerul Dezvoltării Regionale şi Turismului. În timpul reparaţiilor, vor fi evaluate şi lucrările de restaurare necesare pentru utilizarea navei în scop turistic. „Am avut o discuţie cu specialiştii constănţeni care mi-au dat asigurări că ne vor sprijini dacă vom intenţiona să organizăm pe navă un muzeu al istoriei navigaţiei pe Dunărea fluvială. Vrem în acelaşi timp să oferim posibilitatea de a se face şi croaziere pe Dunăre cu această navă", a declarat primarul Tulcei, Constantin Hogea.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;„Republica" este printre puţinele nave cu zbaturi salvate de autorităţile române, fiind inclusă din 2003 în Categoria Tezaur a Patrimoniului Cultural Naţional. Nava a fost construită în 1883 la Şantierul Naval din Linz, Austria. Au fost construite 3 nave identice, „Hansburg", „Csobanc", ce avea să devină „Republica" şi „Austria", intrată în flota românească sub numele „Anghel Saligny". Maşina cu aburi avea o putere de 550 CP. În primul război mondial, „Republica" a fost „navă - amiral" a Marinei Militare de la Dunăre, iar în al doilea război mondial a participat la mai multe operaţiuni. La bordul navei au urcat generalul von Mackensen, comandantul frontului austro-ungar în timpul Primului Război Mondial şi amiralul Wulf, comandantul „Donau Flotile" a Marinei Austro-Ungare. A fost rechiziţionată de ruşi, apoi restituită şi rebotezată „Republica", redevenind navă amiral la Dunăre. În 1956, pe nava ancorată la Km 595 a avut loc o întâlnire de taină a lui Gheorghiu Dej cu liderul iugoslav Iosip Broz Tito. Din anii 70, a devenit navă de pasageri pe braţele Sulina şi Sfântu Gheorghe.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La Paris s-ar face programări cu câteva luni înainte&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Alte nave cu zbaturi au fost distruse. Pe 26.07.2010, nava „Cetatea", construită în 1903 la Turnu Severin, fosta navă hidrografică a Comisiei Europene a Dunării, a fost vândută de AFDJ Galaţi la fier vechi, pentru 7.903 euro. Nava „Anghel Saligny", fostă „Austria", a navigat 50 de ani pe Dunăre, făcând curse de pasageri pe relaţia Brăila-Galaţi-Tulcea. În anii 70 a devenit braserie plutitoare la Faleza Dunării din Galaţi. După ce pe navă s-a produs un incendiu, a fost tăiată la fier vechi. La Galaţi navighează „Tudor Vladimirescu", iar la Brăila nava „Borcea", inclusă şi ea în categoria Tezaur. În 2009, mai mulţi profesori universitari din Franţa, Italia, Spania şi Grecia, au fost încântaţi să călătorească cu nava „Borcea". „E uimitor să vezi o astfel de navă funcţionând. La Paris, în Musee de la Marine, există două machete reprezentând nave cu zbaturi. Dacă ar exista o astfel de navă pe Sena, la noi, cred că s-ar face programări cu câteva luni înainte pentru a prinde o plimbare cu ea", declara atunci prof . Atât autorităţile, cât şi hoţii de fier vechi vor să le valorifice.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Scăderea nivelului apelor Dunării a scos la iveală o parte din epava navei "Slatina", care s-a scufundat în vara anului 1990, în timp ce era acostată la Dana 35 a Portului Bazinul Nou din Galaţi. "Insula" de metal îi atrage pe hoţii de fier vechi, care, înarmaţi cu baroase, leviere, cleşti sau bomfaiere, se apropie cu bărcile de epavă şi încearcă să desprindă piese, flanşe, orice bucată de metal care poate fi vândută la un depozit de fier vechi. Uneori metalul ruginit cedează, alteori e muncă de Sisif. Autorităţile au demarat pregătirea operaţiunilor de ranfluare a epavei, adică de scoatere la suprafaţă a masei de metal, care costă aproximativ zece milioane de euro. Mai multe firme româneşti şi străine au depus oferte, acum fiind în curs evaluarea acestora. Faptul că acum o parte din epavă este deasupra apei, nu ajută prea mult la ranfluare, pentru că partea aflată la suprafaţă este nesemnificativă în raport cu blocul de metal, amestecat cu aluviuni, de sub ape. Este nevoie de scafandri grei, care să instaleze "lanţurile tăietoare" cu care epava să fie tăiată în bucăţi scoase la suprafaţă cu macarale plutitoare de mare capacitate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Scăderea nivelului Dunării le-a fost folositoare autorităţilor portuare comuniste în 1983, în cazul altei epave celebre, cea a motonavei "Transilvania", scufundată tot în portul Galaţi. De câte ori scădeau apele şi începea să se vadă epava, în oraş apăreau apărea bancuri pe seama incompetenţei directorilor şi activiştilor care reuşiseră să scufunde o navă chiar în port. Lângă promenada de pe Malul Dunării. Pentru că în 83 apele Dunării scăzuseră foarte mult, comuniştii au dat ordin să fie tăiată toată masa de metal de deasupra apei, pentru ca la următoarele scăderi ale nivelului Dunării să nu mai fie vizibile semnele incompetenţei lor, ce a dus la dispariţia unei dinte navele celebre din istoria Marinei Române. Ranfluarea epavei navei "Transilvania" a durat un an şi jumătate, fiind finalizată în toamna anului trecut.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Transilvania" şi "Slatina", scufundate de incompetenţa autorităţilor portuare&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fluctuaţiile nivelului Dunării le dau mult de furcă marinarilor de pe navele acostate la cheu. În cazul în care nivelul fluviului este în scădere, marinarii trebuie să se asigure că adâncimea în zona danei de acostare este suficient de mare, pentru a nu exista pericolul ca nava să se aşeze "pe uscat". De asemenea, marinarii trebuie să aibă grijă în permanenţă ca parâmele care leagă nava la cheu să nu fie suprasolicitate. Nerespectarea acestor reguli a făcut ca în portul Galaţi să se scufunde, în interval de 11 ani, două nave: motonava "Transilvania", supranumită "Lebăda Mediteranei" şi cargoul "Slatina", de 4.800 tone dead weight (tdw). În 1979, motonava "Transilvania" fusese adusă la Galaţi pentru reparaţii şi reamenajări. A fost acostată la Dana 18 din Portul Galaţi, pentru perioada în care proiectanţii trebuiau să evalueze lucrările necesare şi să elaboreze planurile. Poziţia motonavei era pusă în pericol din cauza fluctuaţiilor nivelului Dunării. Comandantul navei, Octavian Pleşoianu a cerut schimbarea poziţiei navei, dar autorităţile portuare nu i-au luat în seamă apelurile. Pe 9 septembrie 1979, la ora 8 şi un sfert, una din parâmele prin care nava era legată la cheu a fost a fost suprasolicitată din cauza scăderii nivelului Dunării, s-a rupt, iar "Transilvania" s-a culcat uşor pe bordul din babord, scufundându-se. Acelaşi lucru s-a întâmplat şi cu cargoul "Slatina" în vara lui 1990, când se afla la Dana 35 din Portul Bazinul Nou, pentru operaţiunile de încărcare.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Epava "priponită" cu parâme ruginite, ca să nu alunece în şenal&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Poziţia cargoului "Slatina" este un pericol pentru navigaţia pe Dunărea Maritimă, pentru că este în apropierea şenalului navigabil, "canalul" subacvatic care are adâncimea suficientă pentru navigaţia navelor maritime. În toamna lui 1990, prova şi pupa navei au fost legate de mal cu parâme foarte groase, pentru ca epava să nu alunece spre şenal. În 1996 au fost schimbate parâmele, dar între timp şi acestea au ruginit epava fiind un pericol pentru navigaţie. Poziţia epavei împiedică operarea portuară la Danele 36-37 din Portul Bazinul Nou, dar impune şi restricţii în activitatea Şantierului Naval "Damen" Galaţi. Epava este situată în apropierea porţilor etanşe ale Docului Uscat şi din cauza obstacolului subacvatic, nu pot fi construite nave cu o lungimea de 150 metri. La şantierul gălăţean, care face parte din Grupul "Damen" (Olanda), urma să fie începută construirea unei nave cu un deplasament de 28.000 tdw şi lungimea de 205 m, de tip Joint Support Ship (JSS), clientul fiind Marina Regală din Olanda.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Zeci de epave pe braţul Măcin&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Conducerile Administraţiei Rezervaţiei Biosferei Delta Dunării şi Gărzii de Mediu susţin că, pentru prima dată, în ultimii ani, nivelul foarte scăzut al Dunării nu a mai scos la iveală epave în Deltă. Totuşi, pe braţul Măcin al Dunării se află 46 de epave. Garda de Mediu spune că aceste nave au fost abandonate de proprietari, în urmă cu mai multe decenii, şi nu mai pot fi identificaţi armatorii pentru a fi obligaţi să le dezmembreze pe cheltuiala acestora, cum spune legea.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;În plus, Costel Ifrim, prim-comisar al Comisariatului din Rezervaţia Biosferei Delta Dunării al Gărzii de Mediu, spune că "la Sulina există un cargou eşuat în urmă cu un an şi mai sunt câteva epave într-o zonă special amenajată pe braţul Sf. Gheorghe al Dunării, la kilometrul 107. În zona Musura de la Sulina au fost două cargouri eşuate recent. Unul a fost scos de armatorul din Georgia, iar epava cargoului Torgut S, tot din Georgia, nu poate fi evacuată pentru că se află într-o zonă mlăştinoasă unde nu pot pătrunde utilajele specifice pentru dezmembrare, în vecinătatea graniţei cu Ucraina. Pe braţul Sf. Gheorghe se mai află epava pescadorului românesc Caraiman, care nu mai are armator după ce s-a desfiinţat flota de pescuit oceanic şi nu are cine suporta cheltuielile de dezmembrare. Tot aici mai sunt câteva blocuri din epava navei Rostock care vor fi valorificate la fier vechi".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Epopeea navei Rostock&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;În ultimul deceniu au existat mai multe acţiuni de amploare organizate de autorităţile din Tulcea care au vizat curăţarea Deltei de epavele care urâţeau peisajul şi încurcau navigaţia. Cea mai cunoscută acţiune de acest gen a fost cea de ranfluare a epavei cargoului ucrainean Rostock de pe canalul Sulina din apropierea satului Partizani. Administraţia Fluvială a Dunării de Jos (AFDJ) Galaţi s-a chinuit un deceniu şi jumătate până a reuşit să scoată această epavă din şenalul navigabil de pe Canalul Sulina. Specialiştii americani şi olandezi în astfel de operaţiuni au reuşit ranfluarea, în urmă cu patru ani, după un efort care a durat doi ani şi a costat aproximativ zece milioane de euro şi viaţa unui scafandru. AFDJ Galaţi se judecă de câţva ani la Curtea de Justiţie din Paris cu cei care au ranfluat epava Rostock pentru că cheltuielile făcute la scoaterea epavei din canal au fost duble faţă de cât prevăzuse proiectantul.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Operaţiuni costisitoare&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Experţii spun că ranfluarea navelor nu este o operaţie rentabilă, în ciuda nivelului scăzut al Dunării. „E mai ieftin să scoţi epavele când apele sunt mici, numai că de data aceasta apele sunt atât de mici încât navele care trebuie nu ajung acolo. Nu-ţi trebuie nici apă înaltă, pentru că îţi trebuie utilajde de forţă, să învingi presiunea apei pe obiect, dar îţi trebuie un pescaj suficient", a precizat Valentin Zeicu, directorul general al Administraţie Canalelor Navigabile. Există două modalităţi de scoatere a epavelor. Una este construirea unui batardou, un fel de dig în jurul navei, de unde se scoate apoi apa, dar nava care construieşte lucrarea trebuie să stea în ape adânci, iar procedeul este costisitor. De obicei, se folosesc perne de aer ampasate sub epavă, care este ridicată şi apoi trasă spre mal. A trecut ceva timp si a mai apărut un restaurant chinezesc, in stația de autobuz de la ‘telefoane’, vizavi de ‘papadie’. Chinezul mititel Tzau este cel care administra povestea, mai vizibil si uman decat patronul chinezescului din vale, vorbitor de romana, tenace ca orice oriental cu un meniu mai scump cu restaurantul cu un aer mai modern decat ‘chinezescul’ din Mazepa. La ‘chinezescul ’din piața, alt chinez, meniu puțin diferit!&lt;br /&gt;Vietnamul are o legatura istorica si speciala cu Romania. Povestea asta trebuia sa ajungă sa fie impartasita si culinar iar la Galați, poate mai mult ca in alata parte restaurantele exotice, administrate bine, vor fi un punct de atracție.&lt;br /&gt;Cu restaurantul Indian nu prea exista vreo legatura. Acolo e un teren pentru ei, pentru indienii din Sidex, au mese rezervate, chelneri triști si neprimitori. Nici noi nu am dorit sa ne fie vândut Sidexul. Deci de evitat! Oricum, inca de la intrare in restaurantul Indian sunteți invitați afara!&lt;br /&gt;Si atunci? Ce fel de restaurant bun si cu prize la public mai merge? Mexicanul lui Roni a fost închis fără mila si mulți încă tânjesc după el. Şi iată că Dumnezeu e milos cu gurmanzii, inspirator cu investitorii si a apărut restaurantul vietnamez. In locația unde Giuseppe Visciglia isi făcuse locanta italieneasca, unde servea in trecut delicioasa supa de cipolla, salvatorii iubitorilor de mâncare gustoasa si rafinata au investit si au adus toate cele necesare restaurantului vietnamez: mobilier de calitate, original vietnamez, amenajare cu specific, in interior cat si pe terasa, bucătăreasa originală de la mămicuţa ei şi câteva gheişe naţionale. Plutea in splendoarea sa de lebăda, in tăcerea serii, fara a fi tulburat de vremurile care stau sa vina. Pe vremuri, in ca din copilărie, apucasem sa vad la ponton, ca mai apoi sa pasesc la bordul ei, nava Libertatea. Site urile englezești se distrează apreciind cat de idioți au fost cei care au vândut nava Libertatea cu doar 250mii dolari. Nu știu cat de idioți au fost, corupți si șmecheri însa au fost si stau bine mersi, fara sa plătească pentru asta.&lt;br /&gt;Nava Libertatea este deja in plutire, complet restaurata si cu prezenta ei bucura inima celor nu numai care o iubesc si care au si puterea sa o prețuiască si sa o intretina, pentru ca domnia este pe rând dar ea totdeauna costa, așa după cum bine am constatat după revoluție. Nu știu daca se pot organiza sărbătoriri la bordul pânzarului, cu siguranța ca e loc si de pileala se găsesc si amatori si furnizori. Am trăit sa vad si nava Libertatea, pe când avea statut de hotel si nava Transilvania, când era scoasa in plutire, in susul Dunării, spre Brăila, precum sunt scoși la aer câinii mari de rasa, ținuți in apartament si chinuiți de stăpâni in sufragerie oricât de mare le-ar fi fost aceasta. Pana la urma, cineva s-a plictisit si a trântit nava Transilvania chiar in port si de atunci, abia recent a început sa fie scoasa ultima sa parte, din malul Dunării si al uitării. De departe e tâmpenie sau un act de corupție vânzarea navei Libertatea si mai este de vorbit de aceasta poveste. Totuși ar trebui sa intelege ca exista si opțiunea ca nava Libertatea sa aibă o soarta mizera precum nava Transilvania. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;Pe faleza, cu un cărucior de butelii, protejaţi de bulanul miliţianului Marcel Piticu, doctorul anestezist Nicolae Bacalbasa împreuna cu Viorel Baciu au distribuit cărţulia cu desene si povesti despre Bula, pe toata lungimea falezei. Doctorul anestezist vrea sa scoată umorul din amorţeala, vrea sa fie auzit si oamenii vor sa il audă, sa il asculte. Si uite ca astfel, de la micile intervenţii televizate care au făcut cunoscut oraşul, pe când locuitorii se înjunghie sau isi taie din mădulare, saltul in media a venit pe când doctorul Bacalbasa a început sa realizeze emisiunea sa la TV Galaţi.
&lt;br /&gt;Sunt voci care spun ca doctorul anestezist este unul dintre favoriţii la viitoarele alegeri pentru scaunul de preşedinte al Consiliului Judeţean Galaţi. Este, ştie natura umana si vede cu profunzime de rus Siberian aplecat spre rugăciune multe din hibele si tăriile sufletului omenesc, este iubit de presa si foarte simpatizat de poporul iubitor de televizor care il urmăreşte cu gura căscata, gata sa hahaie, daca doctorul mai trânteşte cate o remarca cehoviana.
&lt;br /&gt;Cum a reuşit doctorul Bacalbasa sa fie atât de cunocut si de simpatizat? A ocupat o nisa cu relaxare si har, aceea a vestitorului hâtru care ştie sa găsească semnificaţii profunde si in lucrurile simple si in tot ceea ce ne găseşte in viata nepregătiţi si expuşi.
&lt;br /&gt;Talentul doctorului Bacalbasa este ca face balerin si din cel mai invalid pasitor, e har de lider, calitati care iată, se vad in criza profunda pe care o traversam schiopatand a lipsa de umor si cancerizaţi total la zâmbete.
&lt;br /&gt;De ce nu suntem veseli in epoca asta? Cu siguranţa ne lipseşte Bula, care se spune ca fusese descoperit si lansat chiar de catre Securitate! &lt;/span&gt;

Gândind la uitarea si deznădejdea simţite in Brăila si Galaţi, in Galaţi unde miroase a Petroşani, nu poţi gândi ca in localităţile din jurul acestor mari oraşe se poate întâmpla si altceva in afara de şomaj, sărăcie, deruta si populaţie imbatranita.
&lt;br /&gt;Sa fiu iertat pentru ignoranta, nu ştiam ce frumos este la Dunare, pe malul Chiscaniului. Singura legătura a Chiscaniului cu lumea, in mintea mea rămânea legata de termocentrala, fosta platforma industriala in ruina, terenuri mai ieftine decât in oraş unde diverşi fabricanţi pot sa si desfăşoare activitatea si vecinătatea Lacului Sărat! Atât!
&lt;br /&gt;E bine de vizitat comuna Chiscani! Vezi Chiscani si apoi mori, mori de pofta! Exista aici o fabrica de gogoşi si de pâine(unicat in regiune), cred ca cele mai gustoase gogoşi din zona, cu toate neamurile de umpluturi ispititoare. Opreşte toata lumea la fabrica de pâine si gogoşi din Chiscani, vin mulţi de la Galaţi si Brăila si pâinea ajunge si in cele doua mari oraşe. De la Chiscani! Gustos!

&lt;br /&gt;Drumul e bun, cu mult mai bun ca cel din Galaţi, fora gropi, frumos marcat. Oamenii nu sunt atârnaţi de porţi, sunt semnalizări cu direcţiile spre Insula Mica a Brăilei! Şomaj minim! Criza! La Madrid tinerii sunt revoltaţi de cheltuielile făcute pentru primirea Papei. Pelerinaj! Multa lume!
&lt;br /&gt;Chiscani 2011! Peste 7000 suflete, flori pe strada, case zugrăvite frumos, oamenii vii, bâtlani bucuroşi si tineri, copii! Cum Dumnezeu? Omul sfinţeşte locul! Omul in cauza de la primărie este Ion Crăciun, medic veterinar, cu liceul la Sf. Sava, cu principii si credinţa. Si se spune despre oamenii cu credinţa ca unul cu credinţa este mai puternic decât 100 cu interese. Si Ion Crăciun a tras oamenilor comunei sale, din fonduri europene, gaze, apa si canalizare si drumurile asfaltate, da asfaltate, se ridica la aproape 60km.
&lt;br /&gt;Fara o bere data, fara un pachet sau o găleata electorala, doctorul a fost votat de mai multe ori si oamenii îl preţuiesc.
&lt;br /&gt;Uşa e totdeauna deschisa la primărie in Chiscani! Dialoguri, şedinţe, consfătuiri si proiecte! La vedere! Langa Lacu Sărat, staţiune care are şanse de modernizare cu primarul chiscanean care in timpul liber se mai si incaiera prin instante cu brailenii-judeteni pentru taxele si impozitele pe care Consiliul Judeţean Brăila le vrea in buzunarul sau si nu le poate lua, conform legii.
&lt;br /&gt;Branza e pe bani si la frati, mai ales pe criza, nu-i asa?
&lt;br /&gt;Primarul Ion Crăciun e in felul sau un Columb de Insula Mica Brăilei, el vede cum sunt timpurile: peste cinci ani centrul naval de agrement va fi la Chiscani. Se va face un port pe teren privat, chiar in Chiscani, investiţia fiind de 22 de meloane de euro(rezista euro?) si va avea un palat administrativ, cu hotel, restaurant, piscine de înot, bungalouri, locuri amenajate pentru grătar, plaje, multe terenuri de sport funcţionale care pe timpul iernii vor fi acoperite.
&lt;br /&gt;Vasele de croaziera care vin din Ucraina si din Austria vor opri si la Chiscani pentru 24 de ore, chiar aici va fi staţie de alimentare cu carburanţi pentru nave, iar turiştii vor vizita Insula Mica a Brăilei, care este un paradis, aceasta fiind mai sălbatica si neexplorata ca Delta Dunării.
&lt;br /&gt;Ostrovul, Fundul Mare, Harapu care sunt pe teritoriul Chiscaniului sunt pline de fauna si flora deosebita specifica unei delte adevărate. Harapu isi trage numele de la arabul care a furat-o pe Chira Chiralina si cu fecioria ei si-a stins setea de mirodenie de femeie.
&lt;br /&gt;In cadrul acestui proiect turistic, vizitatorii debarcati de pe nave la Chiscani,vor vedea municipiul Brăila, staţiunea Lacu Sărat, aceasta având un statut special acum, deoarece toate taxele si impozitele locale sunt reinvestite in turism, in canalizare inclusiv, in reţeaua de apa potabila, in drumuri.
&lt;br /&gt;Este singura staţiune din tara unde ministerul a alocat bani. ‚Columb’ Crăciun ştie si crede ca vom discuta mai multe despre centrul naval de la Chiscani, dar asta după procedurile de avizare care durează, aprobările de la mediu, de la fiecare instituţie abilitata si atunci vor începe lucrările. In acest proiect sunt bani privaţi de la persoane private, aceştia investind pe tot malul stâng al Dunării in zona Chiscaniului.
&lt;br /&gt;La Galaţi, din bani publici, 1,5milioane euro, a fost construit un ponton de calatori pentru navele care ocolesc distant oraşul, cu gratie de lebăda ucraineana sau austriaca. Dureros!
&lt;br /&gt;Primăria Chiscani, împreuna cu Consiliul Judeţean Brăila si comunele riverane ale Dunării, intra pe un proiect de dezvoltare având 6 milioane de euro, in care comuna Chiscani va avea un port pescăresc datorita faptului ca au fost instruiţi oamenii prin cooperativa din localitate unde sunt 157 de pescari autorizaţi cu bărci cu motoare. Pescarii de la Chiscani isi vând pestele, chiar in sistem organizat pe piaţa Brăilei.
&lt;br /&gt;Acest proiect fiind pe bani europeni procentul este de 51% bani privaţi in care Consiliul Judeţean Brăila, autorităţile locale si judeţene participa si ele, iar primarul din Chiscani participa cu terenul . După portul pescăresc vine portul industrial pe care îl dezvolta tot cu o firma privata care a dovedit a fi cea mai puternica din Brăila.
&lt;br /&gt;Chiscani se va face o fabrica de bio-etanol, se va mai face o uzina de producere a energiei electrice de 3 megawaţi din biomasa, tot la Chiscani se fac silozuri de 50 de mii de tone, cu amenajări portuare cu tot si tot la Chiscani pe tarlaua 23 se va face prima unitate de colectare selectiva a resturilor menajere.
&lt;br /&gt;Iată ca e posibil. Poate ca trebuie sa iţi iubeşti locurile, sa ii iubeşti pe oamenii de langa tine, poate ca trebuie sa te uiţi pe statistici si in gura lumii politice mai puţin, poate ca trebuie sa te uiţi in soare si la cer mai mult si daca vezi, de pe malul Chiscaniului, cum arata Dunărea, e imposibil sa nu te întrebi daca primarul din Chiscani, domnul doctor Ion Crăciun, va reuşi sa isi facă locuitorii sa isi dezvolte deprinderi turistice.
&lt;br /&gt;Chiscani este noua Sulina! Sa ştii sa citeşti harta vanturilor, precum Cristofor Columb, precum primarul Ion Crăciun, in vremuri grele!

&lt;br /&gt;Nava se afla in plutire in Monaco, acolo unde ii sta bine de altfel si cred ca ii este si locul. Pe puntea ei pot sta fete cu pletele in vant dar pot juca table si procuratorii de fotbalisti, cei care au contracte semnificative cu statul sau ministri ori alte figuri de cabinete. Pentru ei suma de plata a unei astfel de nave nu este mare deloc. Chiar deloc!
