You can find on their shop “powered by Yozik”, various references listed by musical style, as well as specific categories such as “DVD” and “merchandising”.

On this shop, a major development that will be soon an “option” on every Yozik Pro Account’s shops : pages “product details”. Thus, these pages summarize all the information on a product name, description, purchase buttons, player, cover, stock, etc..

On the following example you can see the detail page of the CD / DVD “Ray Charles At The Olympia”, according to the  graphic guidelines of XIII Bis website,  where you will find buttons to share the “detail page” on Facebook and Twitter.

Napster was originally a P2P service but in 2001 it became a legal download and streaming site . It is available at the moment int the United States, England and Germany.

You can discover, on her official website, the shop specially developed in php from Yozik XML shop, to improve SEO (Search Engine Optimization) through explicit url names (ex: http://www.selahsue.com/shop/en/t-shirt-selah-sue-blanc-femme-108449/).

This shop also has one of the latest developments of the Yozik API : the “stock management”. Thus, stocks are calculated automatically and items are shown in real time on the shop as “available” or “unavailable.” Shipments are then made ​​by Yozik that can manage sendings and stocks for Artists or Labels, for shipments worldwide by regular mail and tracked packet.

Yozik now features in its distribution offer the upload of your music on the French platform Starzik:

So as to do it, we integrated the Google Analytics solution. That’s what we’re going to deal with in this tutorial.

1- Edit your Analytics account http://www.google.com/analytics

Go to the page “Edit Account and Data Sharing Settings” by clicking on “Edit account settings” on the right of the title on the page “Overview”.

Choose “E-commerce website”, then Euros (or your currency if your Yozik cart is set for that).

2- Edit your Yozik account

Before setting your Yozik account, you should first note the code of your Analytics website profile. This code is like: UA-XXXXXX-XX. You can have it if you get back to the dashboard of your Google Analytics account, or if you click on “Analytics Settings”. The code stands on the right side of your website name.

On Yozik, go to “My Account”, then “Account Detail”, then click on “Change account settings”. On the page “ACCOUNT UPDATE”, enter your Analytics code in the field “Google Analytics tracking code”.

3-Insert the code in your pages

Google proposes a method to track the analytics of several domains (yours and Yozik’s), as well as between sites included thanks to iframes, which is explained here : http://code.google.com/intl/en-EN/apis/analytics/docs/tracking/gaTrackingSite.html#trackingIFrames

3.1. Simplified tracking method by Yozik :

Here’s a simplified method we use on our artists’ websites: Insert this 1×1px iframe from the domain www.yozik.com at the bottom of your home page and on all the pages containing a link to your shop or your cart:

4- Analyze the results

Now, you have all the Google Analytics tools to analyze your sales regarding your visits. We are not going to learn you everything about Analytics here, but here are some main screens that will certainly interest you:

The “E-commerce” page which allows you to display your statistics of sales in Yo carts. You will find in particular the distribution of the Figure of Affair(Business) by sold Article, the sources of purchases, the rate of conversion from your carts to effective sales. With this page you can so easily visualize and measure the impact of your promo operations on your sales, in particular with the campaigns of purchase of Google Adwords keyword (for it, you have to associate your AdWords campaigns to your analytics account).

The page ” Traffic Sources “ which allows you to visualize the traffic on your pages, the traffic sources (origin Web sites of your visitors), keywords looked for by the users on search engines and which brought them to your Web site…

This cart is associated by default with all the new accounts. If you already use the former carts and if you wish to opt for this new version, go on the tab ” My account / parameters of the cart ” then click on “Change account settings”.

You will then arrive on this page:

You just have to choose the “Standard” cart (as shown above), and all the newly generated codes will open this new cart.

The main difference between 2 types of carts lies in the enchainement of pages. So, the new version of the cart presents this enchainement:

Cart -> Authentication -> Order summary -> Checkout

If you choose the new version of the cart while keeping your former links already published on your sites, your cart will thus have the new enchainement while staying in the “column” format, as shown on the following link : Buy “Pawn Shop”mp3 album.

For the new links generated by Yozik and if the width of the iframe is equal or superior to 700px, here is the cart that your buyers will see (of course the design can be modified by applying a previously created style, from the tab “Style” of your Yozik admin):

When the buyer will have clicked “Place your order” or “Authentication”, he will have to login:

He will just have to verify his order in the “Summary” tab and proceed to the payment.

And here is the page ” My account ” where the buyer is going to be able to modify his information (name, send, password), get his downloads and visualize all his orders.
