Cartographies Traverses, le projet:

« Pour les personnes qui n’ont pas droit de séjour, la frontière parcourue s’étend jusque dans les espaces dits d’accueil. Ainsi à Grenoble, mais cela pourrait être ailleurs dans de nombreuses villes européennes, des voyageurs, voyagent encore… Les lieux associatifs sont les repères instables d’une ville qui ne cesse de se dérober sous leurs pas. Le droit de séjour est suspendu à la préfecture lieu des espoirs/désespoir. » Sarah Mekdjian (enseignante-chercheuse en géographie sociale, UPMF, laboratoire PACTE, Grenoble).

Les oeuvres cartographiques exposées ont été réalisées par douze voyageurs, en situation pour la plupart de demandeurs d’asile, deux géographes: Sarah Mekdjian et Anne-Laure Amilhat-Szary et trois artistes: Marie Moreau, Fabien Fischer et Lauriane Houbey.

Cartes multiples, récit des repères en mouvement, fragments de souvenirs des zones parcourues. Ces cartes explorent les souvenirs, l’imaginaire et s’installent dans les débats politiques sur les migrations et les frontières.

L’exposition sera accueillie du 18 novembre au 1er décembre dans trois lieux de la rue Très-Cloîtres: au café A l’Affût, à l’Ecole de la Paix et au café l’Atypik.
