Amy Winehouse trashed a hotel room

AMY WINEHOUSE prepared for the Brit Awards by causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to her hotel room.

The mucky star has been living in the luxury London hotel since leaving rehab nearly two weeks ago and has refused to let in the cleaners.

Hotel management finally went into her room while Amy was performing at the Brits on Wednesday — and found at least £3,000 worth of damage in the executive suite.

Booze was spilled all over the wooden hallway and cigarette butts, countless bottles of champagne and unwashed knickers were all over the floor.

The blackened bath had to be scrubbed and unclogged after she dyed and washed her famous beehive in the tub.

She had even taken a large mirror off the wall and placed it on the floor. Staff were baffled why. I’m not.

A source for the Riverbank Plaza Hotel on the Albert Embankment revealed: “It was carnage.”

Yesterday a very hungover Amy had a tearful meeting with jailed hubby BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL — after a two-day bender.

She arrived at London’s Pentonville nick just after 2pm, looking tired and dishevelled.

The singer was in tears as she spoke to Blake through a pane of glass, in a room separate from other prisoners.

Their marriage has been under strain since we revealed Blake has been trading signed photos of her for heroin.

A source revealed: “Amy arrived at the prison looking a bit of mess. She had bags under her eyes and her make-up was smudged. She looked really tired and it was obvious she’d been up all night boozing.

PARTY girl PARIS HILTON looked pretty chilled out at a Hollywood club recently.

Perhaps it had something to do with with what looked suscpiciously like a spliff between her lips?

Or could it be down to the smooth sight of model/actor SIMON REX, who she later got her claws into.

I also couldn't help but notice Paris' top looked relaxed too, as her boob tried to escape while on the dancefloor.

Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins early Friday, making the singer and husband Marc Anthony the parents of a boy and a girl after one of pop music’s most closely watched pregnancies.

Lopez representative Simon Fields told People magazine the babies were born shortly after midnight on New York’s Long Island, with the 5-pound, 7-ounce girl arriving first, followed by her 6-pound brother minutes later. The location was not identified.

“Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon,” Fields told the magazine.

Lopez’ publicists and agent did not return telephone calls from The Associated Press early Friday.

Ending months of speculation, Lopez confirmed her pregnancy at a Miami concert in November. Her father, David Lopez, told Telefutura’s “Escandalo TV” earlier this month that the 39-year-old singer was expecting twins

Microsoft Windows VISTA Updates

Microsoft is warning Windows Vista users that a forthcoming service pack for the operating system may stop some third-party programs working. The software giant has released a list of programs that may be broken by the SP1 update for Vista.

Most of the software hit by the upgrade are security programs that prevent Windows users falling prey to viruses, trojans and booby-trapped webpages.

The Windows Vista update will be released to the public in mid-March.
