&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;"A Justiça Federal, a pedido do Ministério Público Federal (MPF) no  Ceará, determinou em liminar a suspensão do Exame Nacional do Ensino  Médio 2010 (Enem) em todo o País. Segundo a juíza Carla de Almeida  Miranda Maia, da 7ª Vara Federal do Ceará, o erro de impressão das  provas - que invertia questões entre o cabeçalho de Ciência e Natureza e  de Ciências Humanas - prejudicou os candidatos.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;De acordo com a juíza, a disponibilização de requerimento aos estudantes  que se sentiram prejudicados pela prova do caderno amarelo e a intenção  de realizar novas provas para os que reclamarem não resolve o problema,  já que as novas provas colocariam em desigualdade os candidatos. &lt;b&gt;O monóxido de carbono é um dos poluentes gasosos gerados&lt;/b&gt; pelo funcionamento de motores a gasolina. Segundo relatório recente da CETESB sobre a qualidade do ar no Estado de São Paulo, nos últimos vintes anos houve uma redução no nível de emissão deste gás de 33,0 g para 0,34 g por quilômetro rodado. Um dos principais fatores que contribuiu para a  diminuição da poluição por monóxido de carbono foi a obrigatoriedade de produção de carros equipados com conversores catalíticos. Responda por que o monóxido de carbono deve ser eliminado e explique quimicamente como atua o conversor catalítico nesse processo. &lt;br /&gt;

RESPOSTA:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;A queima completa dos hidrocarbonetos (CnH2n+2) presentes na gasolina&lt;/b&gt; produz dióxido de carbono (CO2) e vapor de água (H2O). O dióxido de carbono produzido na combustão, apesar de ser um dos principais causadores do efeito estufa não é um gás tóxico, porém, quando a quantidade de oxigênio é insuficiente para a combustão completa, algo que ocorre com freqüência nos motores dos automóveis, há formação do monóxido de carbono (CO). &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;O monóxido de carbono é um gás tóxico, &lt;/b&gt;porque quando é absorvido nos pulmões ele se liga à hemoglobina do sangue, exatamente onde deveriam se ligar as moléculas de oxigênio. Essa ligação do monóxido de carbono com a hemoglobina forma a carbóxi-hemoglobina que é quimicamente muito estável e impede que a hemoglobina transporte o oxigênio para as células do organismo. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;A deficiência em oxigênio pode provocar dores de cabeça,&lt;/b&gt; náuseas, vômito e levar à morte quando cerca de 70 % da hemoglobina é comprometida, algo que pode ser atingido rapidamente com uma concentração de aproximadamente 1500 ppm de monóxido de carbono no ambiente. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;O conversor catalítico utilizado nos automóveis,&lt;/b&gt; popularmente conhecido como catalisador, assemelha-se a uma colméia, construída de materiais cerâmicos e metais como paládio, ródio e molibdênio. Este sistema é protegido por uma carcaça metálica e é fixado na saída dos gases do escapamento, onde tem a função de facilitar a transformação de gases tóxicos (CO, NOx, etc.) em gases inertes.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;Os metais presentes no conversor catalítico é que, &lt;/b&gt;de fato, são os catalisadores, que abaixam a energia de ativação das moléculas facilitando a sua reação com o oxigênio do ar. No caso do monóxido de carbono, a sua reação com oxigênio o converte em dióxido de carbono (CO2). &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;CO(g) + ½ O2(g) --&amp;gt; CO2(g) &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;A questão acima, foca na emissão de monóxido de carbono&lt;/b&gt; pelos motores a combustão, no entanto, há muitas outras fontes que devem ser consideradas, entre elas os fornos industriais, aquecedores domésticos a gás, e os cigarros, que podem não levar à morte, mas causam um envenenamento crônico que altera as faculdades mentais, dificultando a concentração, a memória e o raciocínio em atividades intelectuais.&lt;br /&gt;

Tudo isso  numa linguagem envolvente, aqui e ali pontuada de muito bom humor.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;O curso teve duração de duas  tardes,&lt;/b&gt; sendo hoje a segunda e última parte do curso. Infelizmente,  porque adoraria passar mais algumas tardes tão ricas e agradáveis  quando foram estas.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Mas o que quero comentar aqui  não é sobre o curso&lt;/b&gt; em si, sobre o qual eu não saberia descrevê-lo  em poucas palavras, dada a vasta riqueza de detalhes e análises  discorridas por nosso mestre, tampouco saberia fazê-lo com a mesma  beleza e clareza, pelas quais nós nos encantamos. Para tal, eu aconselho  a leitura de suas obras, indicadas no Blog do Mestre Chassot e, para  quem tiver a oportunidade, ouvi-lo em algum de seus inúmeros cursos pelo  país afora.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Pois bem, a história da qual  quero&lt;/b&gt; comentar é sobre os cubeiros. Vou tentar me fazer entender.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Durante a sua explanação, o  mestre Chassot&lt;/b&gt; gosta de interagir e perguntar se as palavras menos  conhecidas estão sendo compreendidas pelo seu público. Então, após ter  afirmado que eu conhecia algumas daquelas palavras pouco usuais, ele,  bem humorado, passou a me desafiar com as outras palavras que surgiam e,  é claro, apareceu uma que eu por mais que tentasse não consegui  encontrar o seu significado.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;A palavra é cubeiro,&lt;/b&gt; da  qual, salvo algum lapso de memória, jamais ouvi falar.  Cheguei a pensar  semanticamente em cubas, como espécie de bacias, tigelas ou aquários,  alguma coisa do gênero, mas o que seria um cubeiro isso eu não consegui  imaginar. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;O mestre Chassot, feliz por  ter me apanhado nessa,&lt;/b&gt; explicou-nos que cubeiro se referia a uma  profissão que existia na época em que as casas não tinham fossas  sépticas nem água encanada. Nessa época, as latrinas tinham um  recipiente de capacidade de mais ou menos vinte litros que coletava os  dejetos que eram descartados em algum rio próximo e, era o cubeiro que  passava nas casas coletando esse material nada precioso.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Depois disso, induzido pelos  comentários de nosso mestre,&lt;/b&gt; fiquei imaginando como seria a tal  profissão, conviver dia-a-dia com dejetos mal-cheirosos, potencialmente  patogênicos e, provavelmente sem usar luvas e equipamentos de proteção.  Sem falar no preconceito da sociedade para com essas profissões  ingratas. Como será que seria chegar a um baile, nessa época, e se  apresentar como cubeiro?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Lembrei-me de outra história  semelhante,&lt;/b&gt; desempenhada pelos escravos em algumas capitais  brasileiras, como Rio de Janeiro, Salvador e Recife, que tinham a sina  de ir todas as manhãs despejarem ao mar os dejetos mal-cheirosos de seus  senhores. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Conta-se que os &lt;i&gt;Tigreiros&lt;/i&gt;,  como eram chamados&lt;/b&gt; esses escravos, desfilavam pelas ruas da cidade,  em meio a vísceras de animais e restos de vegetais em estado de  putrefação, espalhados por todo lado, carregando as barricas na cabeça.   Conforme se locomoviam, o conteúdo ia respingando sobre os ombros e as  costas dos infelizes, o que provocava manchas na pele semelhantes às de  um tigre, daí o apelido de Tigreiros.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Nessa época, em algumas  cidades, todo o lixo doméstico&lt;/b&gt; e até mesmo os penicos eram  despejados do alto dos sobrados diretamente sobre a rua, muitas vezes  acertando a cabeça dos transeuntes e tornando-a uma verdadeira fonte de  doenças como varíola, disenterias, febres e tantas outras.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Apenas no final do século XIX  que médicos e autoridades&lt;/b&gt; passaram a se preocupar com a onda de  doenças e começaram aplicar leis para disciplinar a coleta e o destino  dos dejetos.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Bem, seguindo o conselho do  mestre Chassot,&lt;/b&gt; que disse que devemos ser sempre curiosos, vou  deixar o resto da história para quem quiser pesquisar e descobrir o que  se fez, ou se deixou de fazer, até os dias de hoje sobre a questão do  saneamento do Brasil e, mais uma vez recomendar os livros do mestre.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;b&gt;A inscrição deve ser feita no site do INEP&lt;/b&gt; (veja link abaixo), onde também há uma lista de universidades disponíveis. O estudante pode se increver em até cinco instituições e mudar a sua escolha caso a sua classificação seja muito baixa.&lt;br /&gt;

Comentário:&lt;br /&gt;
Se Y é isóbaro de X, ambos tem número de massa 40. Sabendo que o número de massa é a soma do número de prótons (n° atômico) com o número de nêutrons&amp;nbsp; (A = Z + n), basta substituir o número de massa e o número de nêutrons na equação para obtermos o número de prótons:&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Z = 40 - 20&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;b&gt;Z = 20&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

A queda do meteorito não deixou ninguém ferido. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Ainda há dúvidas sobre a natureza do objeto que segundo alguns especialistas&lt;/b&gt; poderia se tratar de um fragmento de satélite artificial. No entanto, o pesquisador do Instituto de Astronomia da Universidade de Riga, Ilgonis Vilks, declarou nessa manhã à agência russa de informações Ria Novosti: &lt;i&gt;“Pelas semelhanças, se trata sim de um meteorito. Meteoritos já caíram no país, mas nunca eles deixaram marcas tão grandes. (...). À Mazsalaca, nós presenciamos a queda do maior objeto na história de nosso país.” &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Para o pesquisador, a queda de um objeto fabricado pelo homem&lt;/b&gt; teria provocado “sérias destruições”, mas somente após análises é que poderá ser confirmada a sua verdadeira natureza.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

as matrículas da UTFPR (Universidade Federal Tecnológica) que adotou o Enem como forma de ingresso em fase única, substituindo completamente o vestibular.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;As matrículas na UTFPR estavam previstas para a última semana&lt;/span&gt; de janeiro de 2009, porém com o adiamento do Enem, o calendário de matrículas será alterado.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:100%;" &gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;UFPR mantém as datas do vestibular&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Na Universidade Federal do Paraná não haverá&lt;/span&gt; Além disso, a água é aquecida consumindo 1,5 quilowatt-hora (cerca de 1,3 milhões de calorias), e para gerar essa energia foi preciso perturbar o ambiente de alguma maneira....”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;II. “Na hora de ir para o trabalho,&lt;/span&gt; o percurso médio dos moradores de Barcelona mostra que o carro libera 90 gramas do venenoso monóxido de carbono e 25 gramas de óxidos de nitrogênio ... Ao mesmo tempo, o carro consome combustível equivalente a 8,9 kw.h.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;III. “Na hora de recolher o lixo doméstico..&lt;/span&gt;. quase 1 kg por dia. Em cada quilo há aproximadamente 240gramas de papel, papelão e embalagens; 80 gramas de plástico; 55 gramas de metal; 40 gramas de material biodegradável e 80 gramas de vidro.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Questão 07&lt;/span&gt; - No trecho I, a matéria faz referência ao tratamento necessário à água resultante de um banho. As afirmações abaixo dizem respeito a tratamentos e destinos dessa água.
