If you wanna add adsense ads side by side don`t use tables use "div" ,tables will not only make your ads overflow and violate adsense TOS but also might break your responsive template design

can use "div" unites instead of tables as follow

I`m very happy to announce the first version of blogger job board which is the first job board project based on Blogger platform

warning ! Fix Blogger mobile version m=0,m=1 Duplicate meta descriptions

Today during a routine checking for my blog in web master tools i mentioned that there is a "Duplicate meta descriptions" error so i checked the cause of this error and found duplicated links like

since m=1 and m=0 are the cause of error this means that mobile version for my blog is causing a duplicate description problem that massively impact blogs . So how can we solve this issue ?

Adding canonical rel links to header didn`t solve the problem , i believe that blogger adds a canonical tag automatically yet adding canonical rel tag didn`t solve the problem too

turning off mobile version didn`t solve the problem i just turned the mobile version css off but the mobile version was still in act

The only way that could bulk solve this problem is using robot.txt

Go to Blogger dashboard > search preferences > Custom robots.txt > Enable custom robots.txt content

For a long time we had to create custom ads in order to see our ad units named in Adsense report

and have the ability to add them to channels ; because built-in Adsense widget never had a name in reports so cannot be added to channels or viewed in reports as individual units

Finally Blogger Adsense now will add an automatic name for each built in Adsense ad widget you add to your blog ! , every new Adsense ad will have a name now and can be added in custom channels and tracked in reports ad individual ad unit ; so adding blogger built-in individual to channels is not an issue anymore.

adsense widgets will now show ads with the following name format

Blogname_AdSection_AdUnitId_AdWidthxHeight_as

example :

blogger4bloggers_headerads1_AdSense1_728x90_as

You can see these ad names in My ads section in your adsense account or directly inside your page using Amazing chrome addon called Google Publisher Toolbar

Problems: if you tried to move any of Blogger Adsense widget inside your layout you will probably get an error . so you need to create Adsense unit in the right place so as not to have to transfer it in the future .

`all`	By default pages are treated as crawlable, indexable, archivable, and their content is approved for use in snippets that show up in the search results, using this tag simply mean dont change any thing unless permission is specifically denied in a robots meta tag or `X-Robots-Tag`.
`noindex`	This tag means Do not show this page in search results and do not show a "Cached" link in search results.use this for your secret pages or pages you don`t wanna search engins to see e.g. "success messages" that you may redirect your users to after filling some form.
`nofollow`	This tag means Do not follow the links on this page
`none`	This tag Equivalent to `noindex, nofollow` this mean that none of this page or its subpages and links will be indexed
`noarchive`	This tag means Do not show a "Cached" link in search results. this can be used for pages that are frequently updated so that you don`t want search engines to show old copy of your fresh content e.g. footbal match results pages
`nosnippet`	This tag means Do not show a snippet in the search results for this page
`noodp`	This tag means Do not use metadata from the Open Directory project for titles or snippets shown for this page.
`notranslate`	This tag means Do not offer translation of this page in search results. this is good for local content
`noimageindex`	This tag means Do not index images on this page. Use thisif you don`t like to see your images copied in many locations
`unavailable_after: [RFC-850 date/time]`	This tag means Do not show this page in search results after the specified date/time. The date/time must be specified in the RFC 850 format.this will prevent indexing pages after certain period of time this is suitable for events use this if you wanna make sure your visitors will not after the deadline
