If you’ve got a boat or yacht, then you know about the constant maintenance that it takes to keep it running smoothly. And you also know about the cost of said maintenance to keep it running smoothly. It seems like there is always something to fix or replace. That’s simply the price that you pay to be able to get out for a day on the water whenever you choose.

And if you have ever been forced to replace something that needs replacing on your boat then you are very familiar with quality parts versus cheap parts. I myself, having owned two center-console fishing boats, am very familiar with parts and the different between quality and cheap parts. After owning a boat for all of these years you watch many boating parts companies come and go. Well, the ones that stick around seem to stick around for a reason. I’m a firm believer that any town can become small when you have a good reputation and UMT Marine International has a great reputation.

My first experience with the company came when I was looking for a quality ladder. I had never heard of UMT but my neighbor mentioned them on conversation. How to Relieve Stress in the Workplace

Is stress in your workplace a problem? Last year State Farm limited the offer to the first 25,000 that registered, although I have not seen the mention, they could still implement the same limits this year as well. To be safe, just register as soon as you can. It doesn't take long to get to 25,000 users with this Free deal.

How to fulfill "registration" provision. This is the key.

1. Log into your Turbo Tax account after you have gone through the State Farm link above. (If you used the Turbo Tax software last year, it will ask you if you want to import last years info...yes)

2. Go to the "Print & File" tab which is the last tab at the top of the 2010 return that is started.

3. Click on "print/save for your records" & enter your information. (name, address, phone #, email, etc.)
You should see the following: Enter Your Registration Information
You don't have to pay to use Turbo Tax Basic/ Deluxe Federal /State 2011, but you must provide registration information before you can print your return.

4. Hit "submit/continue" at bottom right
You should see:
TurboTax Registration Complete.
Select Continue to File My Return and we'll walk you through the final steps.

5. You are now Registered and can now log out to complete your taxes another day or at the final hour.

***Please note that simply logging into your TurboTax account via the State Farm link does NOT register you.

Brain Teasers to Stay Refreshed

You know when you need a break, don’t you? That is when your tasks take twice as long to complete, and you are just not producing good work. Yet, a lot of people don’t know how and when to take a break. They work all the time. I think I am a hard worker, but nothing like some people I have known before.
I remember there was a girl who worked at the same place with a group of 40 girls. She was a workaholic. She didn't know how to not work. Never took one single day off. NEVER. I couldn't understand why she never left work, or had a life outside of our work place. I didn't know whether it was because she needed the money, or she was just very competitive. Whichever it was, I am not sure how she can just keep going without any break.

Now and then I like to take time away from the computer, working with codes, and writing. I play some brain games online to refresh. They say it is good to exercise your brain. Learn through playing games and allow your mind to be challenged in a good way. Just like exercising your memory, you need to work it, or you will lose it. I enjoyed many of these brain teaser games because they can make me feel alive. The short little breaks that I am taking for my brain to refresh go a long way. It is harmless and certainly has been proven to work in your favor to take breaks, especially when your brain can be rejuvenated with fun games. We all need to walk away and come back at a later time refreshed. Don’t go off the deep end with stress. So are you taking breaks to refresh your brain?

Have you tried Sudoku? I might have resorted to a game on an airplane trip some time ago, because there wasn't anything else to do. It was then that I found out it was mentally challenging, and I am so very happy about taking on challenges. Let's face it, where else besides the waiting room on your phone or laptop do you actually have time to play games online?

We all know between responsibilities, job and family, there is not much room left for any of our own "games." I guess that is why I work so hard online, because I feel guilty when I get to sneak in a few minutes for myself. I am thrilled that there is Sudoku online. It is a great way to do puzzles, and everything else, as you already know. There is flash on the ipad and iphones. I am so impressed with all the software developers. It is clueless to me how they even write those codes. I am glad someone is doing it, and I will certainly bow out of that line of business because I just don't get it.

If you are a puzzle nut, and haven’t tried Sudoku online, don’t waste any of your precious brain cells, give them some exercise and try it out. It might amaze you to see how mentally satisfying it could be to solve one of these Sudokus! To be honest, it was a bit frustrating at first for me to learn to maneuver, but after I got a hang of it, the rest was history. Oh, by the way, if you think playing online is a bit much for you right now, just print them out! Up at the top of the webpage, there is a Sudoku for Print tab. There you can print out which ever Sudoku level you wish to play – and best yet, it is absolutely FREE!

Distraction: Play Truck Mania 2 Game

The world is a lot different now. I have to remind myself of this, because often, I forget. I didn’t grow up with technology. I didn’t grow up with toys being as cheap as they are now. And even though I tried to not expose my children to online games, I failed in doing so. It is inevitable, especially now with the smart phones, ipads, and computers. I supposed it is alright as long as there are some boundaries.

What is it about a race game that just won’t wear out on us? There are games that will simply lose your interest after a couple of plays, but Truck Mania 2 game is different. I think it might have something to do with our need to satisfy our competitive side.

Truck Mania 2 is a racing game, that your kids might love. Or perhaps you already know about it, and I am just one of the last people to discover it. I played Truck Mania 2, but am not as coordinated with those arrows as my kids. I told you it is just a different world today. We parents have to adjust to it little by little.

Truck Mania 2 is a fun and entertaining game. I tried blocking the trucks and stopped my truck in the middle of the tracks, but the other truck racers eventually went around my truck and took off. It’s like they have minds of their own. It is simple game as long as you can coordinate the arrows. Truck Mania 2 is a great distraction for when you need a break. Why, you can even choose your own truck color. What more can you ask for, right? I chose purple. Try Truck Mania 2 and let me know how you like it too.
